Broome Park can accommodate 54 service users’ across two buildings. They have a high staff to client ratio enabling them to provide quality nursing care consistent with resident's changing needs over a twenty-four hour period.

Towards the end of June my husband will have been a resident in the Main House of Broome Park for 9 years. During this time there have been many changes in staff coming, going and best of all a number of the leaving staff returning.


As a result of my health I have, unfortunately, gone from 5 times

a week visiting to zero but I have daily contact with my husband via a messaging app and can see how well he is cared for. The staff do a great job and I am very grateful to each and every one of them.


I am regularly updated on his well being and if there is anything untoward the staff will immediately contact me. I have regular Care review calls with the last one being only a few days ago

Myself and our family are extremely grateful for the wonderful care given to my husband. When he was admitted to Broome Park he suffered with a brain tumour and coped bravely with the symptoms. Whenever I visited I observed the loving care and nursing administered to him and also to me and our families.
When he died, the night shift staff were sensitive and comforting to me. Thank you for your love and care at such a difficult time for us.

My brother, who is profoundly deaf and autistic, had to move from his previous care home where he had been for twenty-one months, very traumatic for an autistic patient but Broome Park Nursing Home have handled the transition brilliantly. He has settled very quickly and within five days, was telling

I do not usually make recommendations for anything. The home is warm and comfortable. The patients are kept extremely safe.
The staff are friendly and very caring, alert to any issues.
There are varied activities and the patients are encouraged to join in.

I visited Broome Park Nursing Home for the first time about two months ago, and from the moment the front door opened, I got a very good feeling about it.
The space, the cleanliness, the decor and the pleasing smell around.
In the day room, I found my friend and all the other residents looking clean,
tidy and well looked after. The staff and the carers show love and respect for the residents and visitors too. I'm very pleased about everything I have seen so far.

My mum moved into Stable Cottage in May. The staff have been amazing, helping Mum settle in. Mum looks well and although it will take a while for her to completely settle in, so far I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention everyone has given her. We have a messaging group set up and receive
lovely videos and regular updates. The staff are all so friendly and make you feel so welcome when we visit.

My name is Adriana and I am the Deputy Manager here at Broome Park Nursing Home. I qualified as a nurse in Romania in 2006, and in 2011 I received my NMC registration as RGN in the UK.
