After being here for a year I look back & discovered that I wasn't with it. Now I am I enjoy being at the home and realise the staff engage with people in their lifes. This home is very welcoming and endeavours to meet the needs of all the residents and allows me to get in touch with nature.

My brother has been a resident for 16 months, & I must compliment all the staff, for his excellent care, James regularly states how happy he is at Broome Park, which was not the case, at his previous care home. He is consistently happy & cheerful, & I always feel welcome, when I visit.

We, parents are very pleased that our daughter has been admitted at Broome Park Nursing Home for approximately over 2 years. She had passed two Birthday celebration here. With all staff's care and support, as well as the activities held by the activity team leader, has been fantastic in helping our
daughter both emotional physical support. Likewise, we as parents have received an understanding reassurance by the group of empathetic care staff. Wholly speaking, we like to express our appreciation for the total care and support by the whole team of the healthcare here. We are heartfelt happy with Broome Park Nursing Home.

Joan has always been cared for with great love and attention. She spent her final years at Broome Park happy and content. All the staff were always helpful with relatives visiting. Tina and her crew in the stable block work very hard to make sure all residents are looked after with their cleanliness
and entertainment. Beautiful surroundings give a peaceful ambience for living in. Always recommend Broom Park.

My mum had been in another care home for 18 months and was becoming difficult to care for . I went to see Broome Park and was thrilled that they had a space available, at 1st it was a little tricky as the staff had to navigate her mood swings ! The staff are so kind , patient , caring and honest . Mum
settled in after a few weeks and I couldn't be more grateful , I know she is safe and is a lot calmer now. Mum is very well cared for always looks clean , nicely dressed and content. Dementia is such a cruel disease and we as a family are so grateful to the staff here. There's lots of activities, singing , dancing if mum feels she wants to join in. Day trips and most importantly it's open 24 hrs so you can visit anytime. It always smells clean ! We can't thank Tina and her team enough. We as a family don't know what we would have done without Broome Park. Thank you all so much.

My aunt was a resident of Holywell Park for just 2 years until her death earlier this month. From the moment we walked through the door, the care she has been given was second to none. Every single staff member, no matter what their status or job was in the hierarchy, was so caring to her and also to
the family when we visited. They always seemed to know who we are and would often give a quick update on her welfare. I know that she was not always the easiest of people, but that made no difference, and she did appreciate and care for all of them. You only have to see the photo board or look on social media to see what a wonderful time the residents have. Every day, something was arranged, and many outings too. Holywell Park Care Home is second to none, and I can't thank them enough.

Our Mum is so very well cared for by the extremely warm, friendly and professional staff at Holywell. The whole place has such a lovely big family feel to it. When we visit, we are very much welcomed and nothing is too much trouble. So much effort goes into making Mum look and feel as good as she can
and she is treated with genuine dignity, patience and respect. There are daily engaging activities, nutritious and appetising food and even a tipple with the evening meal! Not to mention the beautiful setting.
I can't fault the place!

Towards the end of June my husband will have been a resident in the Main House of Broome Park for 9 years. During this time there have been many changes in staff coming, going and best of all a number of the leaving staff returning.
As a result of my health I have, unfortunately, gone from 5 times
a week visiting to zero but I have daily contact with my husband via a messaging app and can see how well he is cared for. The staff do a great job and I am very grateful to each and every one of them.
I am regularly updated on his well being and if there is anything untoward the staff will immediately contact me. I have regular Care review calls with the last one being only a few days ago

When my husband moved to Holywell Park, his life was transformed, his health improved, and he was encouraged to join in and enjoy the activities/entertainment both within the home and on external visits, something he had been unable to manage for years. All the staff were brilliant from day one. Absolutely
5 stars for this home set in the most beautiful surroundings.

I can't speak highly enough for the care my Dad received at Holywell Park. From the moment he arrived, everyone was so patient and understanding that he needed to settle and acclimatise to living in a new setting. As a family, we were actively encouraged to become part of Holywell. My Dad was treated
with the utmost respect and compassion. Every day, every staff member took the time to engage with him; the time to get to know him, understand what made him smile and laugh and include him, and us, in so many activities that had previously not been possible for him to access. The activities team are encouraged to go above and beyond for their residents, keeping them entertained and enhancing daily life, whether it's visiting musicians, reminiscence afternoons, day trips, lunches out, animal visits or simply sharing a laugh and offering a listening ear. Knowing he was surrounded by such positive, caring people made a huge difference to his and our daily lives. As a family we are incredibly grateful for the warmth and genuine love they showed him and us.

In my mind what sets Holywell Park apart is that it has the feeling that it is the residents home first of all. In this respect the staff are very professional and caring, but also have an informality when they are mixing with the residents, chatting, joking and showing a real interest in them.
The
activities schedule at Holywell is very comprehensive and varied with activities most days. Mum is wheelchair bound and being at Holywell means that she has been able to go out on trips with the other residents every month.
The home has an active Facebook page which is regularly updated with photos and videos. This feed regularly includes images of Mum getting involved in a whole range of activities and really enjoying herself.
Seeing Mum smiling in these images, confirms our view that we struck lucky when we found Holywell and took the decision to let Mum move there last August.
Reply from Lynn Grafham, Regional Director at Holywell ParkThank you for taking the time to leave a review. We always view ourselves as guests in our residents' home and helping create a warm, friendly home atmosphere is integral to our purpose. We are delighted that you can see Mum enjoying the activities via Facebook.

Myself and our family are extremely grateful for the wonderful care given to my husband. When he was admitted to Broome Park he suffered with a brain tumour and coped bravely with the symptoms. Whenever I visited I observed the loving care and nursing administered to him and also to me and our families.
When he died, the night shift staff were sensitive and comforting to me. Thank you for your love and care at such a difficult time for us.

Our family member went to stay here for two week respite, but unfortunately with her condition getting worse and circumstances changing she will be staying.
The manger has been absolutely amazing, with all her help and support also every one of the staff are so lovely and friendly and have made everyone
feel
so welcome and accommodating to help her settle in. From the cleaners to chefs to entertainment girls, the carers and the receptionist is absolutely lovely we couldn't ask for better place for our loved one to be. They go above and beyond, the atmosphere is lovely and the home cleanliness is 10/10. We are so grateful for this beautiful home and that our loved one is here.
The care that is give is amazing.
Just want to say that the entertainment girls are just amazing, they make everyone laugh and the care and fun they give everyone in there is just incredible. Well done to every single staff member at Holywell Park Care Home. Thank you.
