Even though my mum was only here a short while the service she received was excellent. Everyone I saw was very helpful and friendly. I would say that I am pleased my mum was at the home and wish she had more time there. Many thanks. I would definitely recommend this home.

This is a family friendly nursing home, where residents are treated with care and dignity in a calm and nuturing environment. Every effort is made to make residents feel welcome, safe and cared for.


Relatives and friends are welcome at any time.


My relative was given end-of-life care. Every member

of staff was respectful throughout, and the support given was excellent.

Mum has been in the home for just over 1 year. She has settled in well. The staff are lovely, caring and approachable if you have any concerns. Mum sits in the lounge daily when there are lots of things go do. She enjoyed the twice weekly yoga where they sing while doing the exercises. There are lots
of things going on, Easter Bonnet Making, V.E. Day celebrations, cream teas, Wimbledon fortnight. The staff are always looking at different things to do. If the residents want to participate. The home is lovely and clean. I am made to feel very welcome and can turn up any time.

The staff are lovely, and look after my mother well, they are attentive to her needs and very quick to alert me to any problems. The staff are very good at arranging events for the residents and families so we can all come together, the summer BBQ is excellent, the chef does an excellent job!! There
are also separate activities throughout the week for the residents to take part in. The care home is in a lovely setting, with maintained gardens, the rooms are well decorated and they have just recently replaced all the carpet. My mother is happy there which gives me huge peace of mind.

My husband is very poorly with complex needs and requires constant nursing care. The team are fantastic with him attending to his every need. The food is home cooked and fresh, the home is very clean. Reassured to leave my husband's care with the excellent team at Woodside.

Recently passed away in hospital, my father was resident at Woodside Nursing home from 1st August 2024 to January 2025. I visited him every week, and the more time that passed the more it because apparent to me how excellent the care is at this nursing home. I know the food is of a really high standard,
I know the activities are the same. And the staff are amazing, every single one of them. My father was not the easiest person in the world to take care of, mental health issues as well as physical health issues, and it has not been an easy job at all for the staff. But absolutely he has been treated always with respect, care, patience, warmth. All of which after a while had been missing from his previous care home. The continual presence of the same staff day after day, shift after shift, helps so much a resident with memory issues, and I always saw the same happy faces each time I visited. I cannot rate this nursing home highly enough, absolutely top class.

My mum is currently a resident at Woodside View Home, and we are very pleased with her care. All the staff are very friendly and very caring. Mum is well looked after, she tells me she enjoys the food.
Mum came here from the hospital, and as soon as she arrived, the care she received was such a relief
and still is very good.

Best care home I have seen. Lovely staff and management. I would not want my mother to be anywhere else. Staff are always around, unlike other homes, and are very helpful to visitors also. Very homely and comfortable. I am able to take my mum's dog and my own to visit.

My sibling has been unwell for many years and can find aspects of life challenging, they do not adapt easily to new situations or environments. Their previous care home, were they had been very happy and well cared for, had to close in July 2023. When I first went to Woodside View, I decided to make
an unannounced visit, to see what the home was like, without anytime to prepare. I was immediately struck be the cleanliness of the environment and the residents and the warmth of the welcome I received.I paid particular attention to the interaction of the staff with the residents, they were kind, gentle and patient. The facilities are first rate and there's a varied activities plan that people can join in with if they wish. My sibling visited with me a couple of days later, they immediately like the 'feeling' of the home. When they moved in there was very little, if any, upset and they said that they thought it was 'lovely' better than any other they had stayed in. Great start!

My mother entered the home in August 2021 and passed away in July 2022. The initial welcome was really good with a couple of residents joining the staff in telling Mum the routines. The nursing home is lovely, it is clean, bright and comfortable. The management and staff are very caring, we were grateful
that they stayed with Mum at the end. The food is good and activities ensure residents keep fit.

My mother was a resident here for the last five years of her life. She had complex medical needs and was unable to see, but I can't speak highly enough of the care given here, especially in the last few weeks of her life. She was able to celebrate her 100th birthday last year and the staff really rose
to the occasion. They kept me fully informed during Mum's final days. I was always made very welcome when visiting as were other family members and friends. Definitely recommended!

The staff were very pleasant. When we arrived we had to have a lateral flow test which was clear. We were then shown in to see my sister where 3 chairs were put out for us. We were offered tea and cakes whilst we sat. The staff came in to check on my sister whilst we were there. My sister was clean
and tidy with reminders of the family on the walls. She was happy and contented.
