Sharon is a Registered General Nurse with a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for caring for older people. She began her nursing career at Kingston Hospital, initially working in surgical settings before discovering her true calling during a placement in a geriatric day hospital. It was there that she developed a deep appreciation for supporting older people with dignity, compassion, and understanding.
She went on to work for several years in rehabilitation, where she built strong skills in helping people regain independence and confidence. After moving to the south coast, Sharon joined Threeways Nursing Home as a night nurse and quickly became a valued and familiar presence within the home. Over the years, she has grown with the service, building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and staff alike.
Now serving as Registered Manager, Sharon leads with warmth, kindness, and a calm, steady approach. She is deeply committed to creating a home where residents feel safe, respected, and truly cared for, and where staff feel supported and valued in their roles.
Outside of work, Sharon is a proud mum to four children and a grandmother to ten grandchildren, who keep her busy and bring her a huge amount of joy. She enjoys reading, going to concerts, walking her dog, and making the most of time spent with family.
She brings not just experience to her role, but heart — and that’s felt by everyone who meets her.
Anne is the Clinical Lead at Threeways Nursing Home and brings with her a wealth of international experience, clinical expertise, and a genuine passion for care.
She began her nursing career in the Philippines before progressing to a senior role at Al-Nahda Hospital, where she worked as a Senior Nurse. In 2006, Anne moved to England and went on to dedicate 17 years to a Learning Disability Nursing Home in Nutley, East Sussex, UK, building extensive experience in supporting individuals with complex and varied needs.
Anne joined Threeways and quickly became a key part of the leadership team. As Clinical Lead, she plays a vital role in maintaining high clinical standards, supporting and developing staff, and driving a strong, person-centred approach to care. She describes her role as both challenging and deeply rewarding, giving her a strong sense of purpose every day.
What truly stands out about Anne is her energy, warmth, and infectious personality. She brings a real presence to the home — vibrant, passionate, and fully invested in everything she does. Anne leads from the front, setting high expectations and encouraging her team to deliver the very best care.
Her approach is hands-on, driven, and full of heart. She is deeply committed to creating an environment where residents feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for, and where staff feel motivated, supported, and proud of the work they do.
Outside of work, Anne has a creative side. She enjoys travelling, reading, cooking, and baking — and is a talented professional baker who shares her cake creations online. Her attention to detail and creativity in the kitchen reflects the same care and precision she brings to her clinical role.
Anne is a hugely valued member of the team — someone who brings not just skill and experience, but real personality, energy, and heart into the home every single day.
Lesley is the Deputy Manager at Threeways Nursing Home and a highly experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse, qualifying in 2004.
She began her career working on an acute mental health ward, building a strong foundation in clinical care and developing the resilience and knowledge needed to support individuals with complex mental health needs. She then moved into the community as a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN), where she spent around five years working closely with people in their own homes — helping to prevent hospital admissions and supporting recovery following discharge.
During the COVID period, she returned to acute services as a Charge Nurse and Deputy Ward Manager, taking on a senior leadership role in a highly demanding environment. This experience strengthened her clinical leadership, decision-making, and ability to support both patients and staff through challenging situations.
She later moved into the care home sector and joined Threeways Nursing Home, where she has been a valued member of the team for around three years. Starting as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, she has recently progressed into the role of Deputy Manager. Her role is split between clinical duties and supporting the Home Manager, giving her a strong presence across both care delivery and leadership within the home.
She is passionate about working with older adults and brings a bright, bubbly energy to everything she does. Known for her kindness and warmth, she builds strong relationships with residents, families, and staff, creating a positive and supportive atmosphere throughout the home.
Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, walking her dog, and spending quality time with her family, including her two sons and three grandchildren. She has a love for travel, especially hot weather holidays, and enjoys barbecues and family gatherings whenever she can. She’s also a keen scuba diver — with one of her most memorable experiences being diving with sharks.
She brings not only extensive experience to her role, but real personality, energy, and heart — making her a key part of the leadership team at Threeways.
