Grasmere Nursing Home is a family run operation that has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It provides a positive experience for residents who require permanent or respite nursing care.

Person-centred care is offered for older people and those with dementia. Staff are commited to the highest standards of care, enabling residents to enjoy living at Grasmere, maximising their independence and sense of individuality.

The beautifully maintained home has been specially adapted but still retains many of its original features. The impressive Edwardian house and magnificent landscaped garden offer ample opportunities for relaxation in summer, and in the winter the heated patio enables residents to sit outside in comfort.

Grasmere Nursing Home has been warm and welcoming since we first moved our step-father to their care. The staff are fantastic. They know their clients and go out of their way to meet their needs.
They are also great communicators and keep us informed at all times. A cup of tea is always on offer, plus
a smile and a joke.

My mother has been living at Grasmere Nursing Home for 20 months. As soon as you walk in the door you are welcomed with a warm and happy greeting into a very clean, friendly environment. It is very evident the nurses, carers and staff are hard working, diligent and professional with the care they provide.
Despite my mother's dementia, her health has greatly improved since residing at Grasmere. The nursing team continue to give wonderful support to us, guidance, peace of mind, always there to care and help in any way. I am very grateful to everyone at Grasmere and highly recommend this nursing home.

Mum has been in Grasmere coming up to three years and has not had any problems.
I have three brothers and a sister and all are happy with the care mum gets.

If it was not for my two daughters I don't think I would have been able to find such an exceptional nursing home, which I have stated before to the Matron of Grasmere. The staff are very attentive to all residents including my wife, the home is nicely decorated, always clean and smells pleasant.
