Overall Experience
My mum first came to Nightingale Nursing Home in January 2017 for respite care 2 and a half years after my dad died.
She decided she never wanted to go home again!
The staff were friendly and cheerful.
Mum was a chatterbox and always had things to do and staff to chat to.
Mum lived at Nightingale Nursing Home until her death in January 2019.

She died in the home, where she wanted to be and the staff always did their best for her.

Nightingale Nursing Home caters for the care of elderly people who are unable to live without assistance and guidance for all aspects of their welfare. The staff provide a personal service, embracing a wide range of care, from total care of bed confined patients to those with age-related issues needing support with mental and physical disabilities.
The accommodation is excellent and for those requiring social contact, stimulating activities are provided by staff and outside support.

Visitors are made welcome. When, as inevitable, end of life is experienced, attention to patients at this time is conducted with calm dignity and respect in an efficient manner.

We were so lucky to have found Nightingale Nursing Home for our aunt. She was a long-term resident and right up to her last day in the home she was treated with loving care and dignity. All the staff were brilliant and became not only family to her but good friend to us.

I can honestly say every member of staff, at all times, have been very pleasant and helpful.

I visited for over three years and in that time, I cannot remember one time I heard a raised voice over a resident.

I found the staff very pleasant and friendly, they always had time to speak to you and let us know that the patients are doing well. No complaints whatsoever. They do a grand job.

My wife has been in the above nursing home for over four years.
I have found all the staff to be good and caring, friendly and professional and would recommend the home.

There is minimal turnover of staff, thus guaranteeing we see the same friendly faces.

Nightingale's looks after my mother in an exemplary manner. The care is kind, efficient and professional and delivered in a very relaxed manner. All the staff go out of their way to make both residents and visitors feel at home.
Thank you.

I do not believe we could have found a better home.

Overall Experience

My mother has been at Nightingale for about 18 months now and the care she has been given is beyond all our expectations. Everyone from the owners, manager, and all the carers have also made us so welcome, we feel like part of a big family and I do not think she could be in better hands. The food is excellent, the nursing care is excellent and the staff could not be better.

Overall Experience

My mother spent six weeks in the home and sadly died whilst there. The staff could not have been more attentive, caring and considerate of her needs whilst in their care. They treated her with respect and dignity throughout. She was always given the upmost attention. Their concern for her as an individual person was holistic. Despite losing our dear mum we know she was in the best hands, so thank you Nightingale!
