The long serving staff team are excellent. Staff in all roles quickly get to know residents and treat them with tremendous respect and a genuine affection. The level of skilled nursing care cannot be faulted in any way.

This care home is the pattern by which all care homes should be judged. Our 96 year-old, very independent aunt was discharged from hospital to complete her recovery after a fall. We were all concerned about how she would manage in care but need not have worried. She was there for just over a month
and, in all that time, none of us ever saw or heard a resident being treated with anything but tenderness and respect. There were no raised voices in spite of provocation and the staff were always visible and available. We were encouraged to view Truscott Manor as our aunt's home as much as possible and the staff went out of their way to ensure the comfort and happiness of each resident. Our aunt died there after a short illness; she was consulted about her health and each of her wishes was followed to the letter so that she had the passing she wanted. We will forever be grateful for that and all the love and care she received. I unreservedly recommend this home and all its staff.
