The staff are warm and friendly, helpful and kind. They are good at preserving his sense of dignity and control while providing intimate care, and they smile a lot. He loves his room and has enjoyed a range of activities. The manager is both professional and kind. Walsham Grange has made a difficult stage of life not just bearable but enjoyable.

Carer Callum is an exception to this home! Is very attentive and goes above and beyond for my grandad and myself and other family members when we visit. Always gets issues solved immediately and always asks if we are okay and need anything. He always comes and says hello if he sees us, and updates on any issues about grandad if needed, and asks another member of staff if he's not sure on something. Hes always happy and delightful! Give yourself a pat on the back for all your hard work! My nanny is also a resident here and here and I can say the same for her when we visit also!

All staff were amazing and help us so much . Always asking us if we wanted tea and coffee and answering all our questions. Mum was so looked after and fed well . Her room was always clean and her cloths cleaned every day . Definitely recommend here .

I have always found the home to be bright, caring and a happy place to be. The staff from the manager to the carers, cleaners, kitchen staff and maintenance staff are helpful and friendly.. Nothing seems to much for anyone. If they don't know something, they find out as quickly as they are able.

I was worried when mum first went into care with her having lived so independently, but the staff soon welcomed her and made her feel comfortable and at home. All of the staff are lovely and work with dignity and respect, and everything they do is in the best interest of every resident. The home has given mum a new lease of life, and it is lovely to see her thriving again.

The interior of the care home could do with some TLC and if that is your priority then maybe this isn't the care home for you. But my experience has been nothing but positive with staff who care and go the 'extra mile' as far as I was able to see. My wife transferred to Walsham Grange after a month in hospital. Her prognosis wasn't good and her dementia had deteriorated during her stay in hospital. She was neglected badly in hospital with no help at mealtimes so lost a lot of weight. The WG staff I had dealings with tried so hard to coax her with small meals and and real efforts with hydration (which the hospital did not). They also acted quickly when it was necessary to call in paramedics and doctors. Sadly my wife passed away earlier this week but thanks to prompt action from the senior carer, my daughter and myself were able to get to her before she finally died. And they made sure a member of staff sat with her until we got there. Thank you is all I have but it is heartfelt.

My mother went to Walsham Grange on a temporary placement and ended up being there for five weeks whilst awaiting assessment. Initially, I was concerned as it is a little run down in places however I knew what was important was the care my mum received. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the majority of the staff were. Whenever I made a request for something i.e. to book a chiropodist for mum, to have her hair washed etc they always did what I asked. They were also very sweet with my mum as she suffers from dementia and so she was quite distressed a lot of the time and they really did go out of their way to help calm her. As I did not know how long mum would be there for I was regularly contacting the home to help move things along and I’m sure I was a real pain for them but I have to say the support I received from the management and senior team was excellent, and for which I am very grateful. A particular thanks to the manager for helping me get mum home.
