Pear Tree Lodge is a luxury, family-run residential care home offering exceptional support for the elderly, including those living with dementia, disabilities, or other associated conditions.

Designed entirely on one level for ease of access and comfort, the home features 41 beautifully furnished bedrooms, most with en-suite facilities or modern wet rooms. Each room comes with high-quality furnishings as standard, including a profiling bed, wardrobe, bedside table with reading lamp, wing-back chair, chest of drawers, and television.
Residents are warmly encouraged to personalise their space with familiar items from home - whether it's dad’s favourite chair, mum’s cherished trinkets, or treasured family photos.

The home offers three inviting lounge areas: a quiet lounge for relaxation, a television lounge for entertainment, and an interactive space for social engagement. The spacious dining room overlooks an open kitchen, where in-house chefs prepare fresh, nutritious meals daily using locally sourced ingredients.

Outdoors, residents can enjoy two secure, beautifully landscaped courtyards - perfect for sunny lunches or peaceful afternoons. The wider grounds include a scenic pond, cosy seating Orbs for visiting with loved ones, and delightful entertainment from the home’s three resident alpacas.

Pear Tree Lodge combines elegant living with compassionate care, all within a welcoming and supportive community. With complementary Wi-Fi throughout and optional telephone services at no extra cost, residents remain connected and comfortable in a truly special setting.

Pear Tree Lodge is a very friendly and extremely well-run care home. My friend is as happy as I have known her for years. The staff are very caring and always cheerful.

Pear Tree Lodge Residential Home is an excellent home. The care they give is exemplary. They are kind, thoughtful and efficient. My mother is currently dying of cancer and I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else. The ethos of the home is excellent and they work as a team for the benefit of the residents.

My father stayed at Pear Tree Lodge for what turned out to be the last five weeks. As far as I can tell, the carer quickly adapted to his situation and took care of him carefully, professional and joyfully, despite his short acquaintance and short time with them.

My mother had two bad falls and was unable to remain at home. Pear Tree Lodge was the best we could find by looking at reviews. My mother had two and a half months at Pear Tree Lodge prior to her passing. The staff were wonderful and the management first class. They were attentive to mum and always

My father was a resident for 2 and a half years. The staff were fantastic with his care and gave him the dignity that Alzheimer's had taken from him. Their care in his final days was exemplary and I can't thank them enough.

Dad first came here on an emergency placing, 18 months later he has made Pear Tree Lodge his home. We are so happy with how welcome he has been made and we as his family have too. Dad is so happy here, he loves the staff and it's so good to see the same faces when we come. The home is always super clean
and fresh, Dad always looks well turned out and enjoys the activities here. He is loved and especially during Covid, safe!

My daughter came here just before lockdown so not being able to visit her was terrible. My daughter has Downs Syndrome and now Alzheimer's. This has affected all her activities. She can no longer walk or feed herself. Since being in the home, she has blossomed. They have given her a fantastic padded
wheelchair and support her to take part in all activities. I couldn't be more grateful that she is in such a wonderful safe place.

My experience here at Pear Tree Lodge has been exceptional. Staff are there for me when I need them, and they never intrude. I feel the staff and management have taken so many precautions and preventive measures during the pandemic, that as of yet, I have never felt unsafe.

So happy my husband has been in Pear Tree Lodge all through the pandemic and not another care home. I have always felt safe in my mind that he was being looked after well and the staff doing all they could to keep Covid out, which with hard work and dedication managed to do. I have been able to see
my husband on Facetime along with visiting restrictions (when not in lockdown) right through the year. Carers and staff are always happy to talk. Activity lady is brilliant with the residents. Even in full PPE in the heatwave, carers were still happy. Just looking forward to being once again with my husband and being part of the lovely family at Pear Tree Lodge.

My friend moved into Pear Tree Lidge about four weeks ago. I have visited her on a number of occasions and have been impressed with all I have seen. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming, I see them treat all the residents with respect. I have a long background of care, and you "just know" when

Always receive a warm welcome. Mum is always warm, clean and tidy. She is much happier since she moved to Pear Tree Lodge.

This relates to my father's recent palliative care. All the staff at Pear Tree Lodge treated my father with the utmost care, respect and dignity. I was kept informed of his condition when visiting and by phone, nothing was ever too much trouble. The relevant staff explained what was happing at all stages
of his decline, clearly and sympathetically. I cannot praise Pear Tree Lodge highly enough for my father's care throughout his 7-month stay and end of life treatment.

I cannot fault Pear Tree Lodge. All of the staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble for them! I miss my mum terribly, but I can relax knowing that I can visit at any time and I know that she is getting the best care. They are always available for a reassuring chat.

To be a short term resident at Pear Tree Lodge is like going on holiday in a first class hotel. The accommodation is excellent, the staff are so friendly and show genuine interest. Plenty of activities to partake in. Grandchildren and pets are welcomed which makes the ambience like home. On arrival
I overheard a staff member talking to a lady with dementia over lunch, she spoke to her in such a kind voice and I thought "I would want that for my mother" I shall be happy here.
