Robinson House Care Home

Impressive. Bright attractive & welcoming reception, very well kept, felt like a nice hotel, Excellent rooms, well designed with smart furniture, privacy & comfort being the theme. The communal rooms were the same, felt welcoming, clean and tidy. Friendly and attentive staff who have the patients well being as a top priority which was very reassuring. Everywhere was well appointed and clean, very nice feel. The social life there is outstanding, wonderful and appropriate things to do every day. One thing could be improved perhaps the easy access for other patients to go into rooms

My husband is a resident at Robinson House Bristol. This home is amazing and feels just like home. We absolutely love it here and I could not have picked a better place for him. The home is spotlessly clean and the fixtures and fittings are in excellent condition. The staff cannot do enough for you. Caring for my husband is their top Priority. My needs are also important to them and nothing is too much trouble. This home is really well run from management, nurses, carers, Home makers and cleaners. I could not wish for a better place For him and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

I have never been more impressed with all the staff: laundry (ladies), cleaners, care staff and nurses. They all work above and beyond. I can't talk more highly of them all. I have great confidence in all of the above. I am now able to have a couple of days off - knowing my beautiful husband is being cared for to the highest standard possible. Big thank you to all.

We wish to send a great big Thank You to all the staff at Robinson Care Home. Our dad was there for 7 weeks and every day he had the best care and attention we could have wished for. The staff also made us feel very welcome.

Having started visiting my Aunt who is being cared for at Robinson House Care home, I was very impressed of the care provision which clearly depicted excellence due to how she has improved very well. I have a lot of praise to the rest of the team as they are a very close knit team with a can do attitude. The maintenance of the place is also very good. Staff are always polite, respectful to both patients and visitors. Their cleanliness is a clear indication of how their management team lead by example. They are approachable, Knowledgeable and happy to help whenever have questions regarding my aunt. The lady receptionist is very welcoming, helpful and polite with enquiries and beyond. Also, she always makes sure that she sends everyone home with a "thank you for coming, take care" to each and every visitor, making us feel very welcome there. Thank you Team Robinson House

My dad had the best of care and the family in the short time he was here.

A big thank you from all the family for looked so well after our mum. All your help and understanding was much appreciated. We loved the way you even played her Irish music and made her cups of tea perfectly to her taste.

I have found Robinson House to get better over the last year and there are a number of staff who are wonderful and really care. Sometimes I go in and there is no one around but they do have a lot of residents in rooms. The rooms and decor are much improved as the fees, albeit competitive are massive and the system stinks. There should be more help or tax breaks for people who have saved all their lives. The home is very convenient for me and although mum is asleep a lot in the days, she goes on some fab trips organised by the team who are amazing. Also the food and kitchen staff are great. I am happy with it now as didn't feel it was being managed in past year very well. Would recommend.

Lovely place. Staff are wonderful and caring. My mum loves it there. Lots of activities and trips out. Always informed of what is going on. Mum couldn't be in a better place and is well looked after. Rooms are very comfortable and clean.

Would recommend it to anybody looking a home for a loved one. X

I am very happy with the care this home is providing for my mum. The staff and volunteers are wonderful. Mum enjoys the activities provided. I can visit at anytime. I am kept informed of any issues arising in mums care. I think this home is outstanding.

Care is good but staff levels seem low which, in my opinion, feels staff no longer have time to just sit with residents for any length of time.

The reception is always very polite and friendly. It is very clean, there are always cleaners about the floor tidying and keeping the individual service rooms clean. They cater to everybody's needs, and the kitchen staff don't mind preparing something different on short notice. The staff are friendly and polite, but I have found that there are loads of times where staff have been short, which can affect the care my family member has had in the waiting time.

Highly reccomend this home.

On several occasions while I've been visiting there has been no presence of staff checking on her & they should be helping her to eat her dinner.

I was very upset and worried that my wife had to go into a care home, but Robinson House is absolutely amazing, the staff are all first class, very caring and on the ball with everything and are very approachable if you want to talk to them about anything. The food is very good, the rooms and facilities are very good, the place is modern and clean, it's like a hotel. I cannot speak highly enough of the place and everyone who works there.
