Muscliff Nursing Home

I feel so welcome when I come to visit and it is so comfortable to see such friendly staff interacting with the residents during the various activities that go on every day. Muscliff is a wonderful home and I am so grateful that he is being kept safe and is looked after so well.

My husband has advanced Alzheimer's and has been a resident at Muscliff Nursing Home since February 2024. We can't thank the staff enough for the excellent care, kindness, dedication and compassion shown. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and always smiling to help. My husbands room is always clean and tidy and the food provided is excellent. There are plenty of daily activities for the residents to enjoy. We would highly recommend Muscliff to anyone looking for a care home for their loved one. Thank you.

Muscliff Nursing Home is by far the best home my dad has lived in. He's lived in 2 others prior to this home. The staff and management are all wonderful and incredibly caring. My dad was asked to leave his previous home as the staff couldn't meet his demanding needs. He was rude and behaved not very nicely. Since living at Muscliff he's had so much support, he's engaging with people and is involved in all daily activities. It has become clear that his previous home quite literally left him to it, hence the poor behaviour. I can't thank Muscliff enough for allowing Dad to shine again!

My partner developed dementia and has been in Muscliff for over 6 months now. I live nearby and visit regularly. The staff are caring and easy to talk to. It is well run and the food delicious. My partner is content to be there and I can walk to see him anytime.

This home and its staff have taken such a weight off my shoulders by taking care of my elderly friend, I cannot praise them enough.

My wife has been a resident in Muscliff Nursing Home for about 2 years, having been released from a specialist dementia Hospital. She has advanced mixed dementia. The management and their team have cared with compassion, dedication and kindness. They are always willing to answer questions and support friends and loved ones as well as the residents. They are open, honest and kind. The team ethos, attitude and approach, certainly comes from the leadership team and the manager. The management team responsible for the nursing home, are professional, always approachable and well-presented. They lead a phenomenal team, that appears to have a professional, caring attitude and total dedication to the residents. The home has shown continuing development and improvement over the last 2 years, it is always clean and welcoming, there are a lot of activities and visitors are always kept involved and abreast of what is happening with their loved ones. My wife is always clean and comfortable.

We are very happy with the care that Dad gets at Muscliff.

What can I say about this fantastic nursing home? They are simply the best. The care is outstanding, the care given to my husband who had complex needs was amazing. The love and kindness given to the patients is beyond belief. The staff are so welcoming to you as a visitor and are always smiling. The matron/manager runs a wonderful home and all the staff earn my highest respect.

Took my mother-in-law in for respite within 24 hours' notice. Always loads of staff on shift at all times. Very friendly and always go above and beyond. Nothing too much trouble. Always a big smile to welcome you when open door. Spotlessly clean. Fabulous activities in the lounge. Lovely restaurant feel in the dining room with a choice of food on the menu.

Thank you so much for the care and support you gave Mum after her fall and for going over and above to help her recover. The staff were always attentive and happy to help. I was always welcomed with a smile and the management was accessible to answer questions and calm my worries. The food looked good and was eaten in a lovely dining room. Thank you again for taking such good care of Mum.

My mother has been a resident for over eighteen months at Muscliff Nursing Home. The home is run extremely well by the manager. The nursing staff are so caring and kind, my sister, brother and I are delighted with the care being given to our Mum. The whole team really are superb, a big thank you to you all. Five stars are simply not enough...

My father was not at the care home for long, however we could not have hoped for a more caring place for him to spend his final days. The staff were always very friendly and greeted you with a smile.

We cannot overstate our gratitude for the treatment the staff gave him and the respect they showed us when we visited. It also did not go unnoticed the way he was kept clean and comfortable throughout his final hours.

My mother loved her one-month respite care in Muscliff. She liked the room and said they have exceptional food. The staff are amazing - friendly and professional team. The home is well managed with high ratio provided excellent standards and regular interactions with residents.

They all know our a name (as family members), and all smile and greet you. They are very polite. All staff have been very helpful each time. Communication is also brilliant. This is a great facility, especially for my sister. I am confident to say that she is safe and comfortable. The home is very spacious and with adequate room for all types of activities. High standard of cleanliness. The diversity of all staff is amazing and the wonderful care they provide.

Absolute amazing nursing home. My nan is a resident and we have nothing but amazing reviews for the car that she is receiving. I cannot thank the staff enough for their care towards my nan, especially at this very difficult time.

Everyone is so helpful and I love how much my aunt is encouraged to join in with activities. The staff are caring and patient. The management will go above and beyond for both my aunt and family.

The care home is exceptionally good. The staff and management are all very caring and nothing is too much bother for them to discuss with you when necessary. The diversity of the staffing is appreciable. Food is really nice and you feel welcomed whenever you are there.
