Muscliff Nursing Home

I visit my mum frequently, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The home has a lovely homely environment. There is staff available at all times to help. They always welcome us with a smile on their faces. I ask too many questions, but they have the patience to explain everything to me. I can't praise the staff enough.

The staff, especially the nurses, are so kind and welcoming. My mother moved into the home a few months ago now, and it feels like her own home. She is very well looked after in a warm and friendly environment, providing continuing excellent care since she has been a resident.

This choice of home was our preferred option and we were so pleased that they had a nice place for Mum. The care provided was exceptional with nothing being too much trouble. The staff treated Mum with dignity and respect, ensuring she was comfortable and settled at all times. I cannot thank the fantastic staff enough for the love and care given to Mum and also to us, their children.

My dad has been in Muscliff Care Home for more than three years. The staff have looked after my dad's needs and he always looks lovely and clean. The rooms are really lovely and clean with good furniture, even with their own en-suite. The food is of excellent quality, the menus always sound excellent choice. Even though I haven't been able to see him much because of COVID and lockdowns he's still happy. I was worried at the beginning of the pandemic that he would deteriorate but he looks amazing, considering he is now in his 90's. The staff team is outstanding and caring. The staff cannot be praised enough. They have resident's activities every day and some days they have singing. I would recommend Muscliff to everyone.

My husband was at Muscliff Nursing Home for 6 weeks. During his stay, he received excellent care and support. All his needs were catered for. The staff were amazing in every way. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I couldn't have wished for a better nursing home for my husband. They genuinely care for the residents who are treated with the utmost respect.

In my opinion, Muscliff Nursing Home is wonderful. They are absolutely caring of my husband. The staff, with culture from various parts of the world, have been caring with myself and helping me through the difficult times of having a husband in a care home with dementure.

My sister has been in Muscliff Nursing Home for two years and has been well cared for. In this time there has generally been an improvement in the love and care that she received, all credit go to the entire team, from management to care team. The management team are always ready to listen, they do try to implement suggestions.

I am really happy with the way our mum has been cared for. The staff are always friendly and professional. They are always available to discuss how Mum's day has gone and will refer Mum to the doctors and dietician. Overall, the services are all excellent and over and above. Very good management.

My mum stayed at Muscliffe Nursing Home from December 2020. It was difficult to visit her because of the lockdown but the WhatsApp and Zoom they had was brilliant. I have seen more of Mum than I ever did. What a brilliant place. Now we get to see her in three different ways.

All of the staff are fantastic and caring, always have a smile on their faces. They have made my dad welcome and help us with everything possible during our visits. I couldn't recommend them more.

Muscliffe Nursing Home has been amazing, the staff are very friendly but professional. They have all gone above and beyond their duty during the pandemic. Arranging socially distanced visits for anyone who has a loved one living there. They have been very reassuring that their residents are well and enjoying life as much as they can. If they have any concerns they have made contact quickly to inform us of there concerns or for our thoughts/advice. I cannot fault the home or staff in any way, they do an amazing job. Thank you.

Muscliff Home accepted my mother at short notice on her discharge from the hospital. Over almost 5 years, the staff did their best to deal with her sometimes difficult behaviour. They treated her with dignity and respect. I would especially mention one lady who won Mum's confidence and managed to get her to do things others could not! We were always welcomed on visits and kept informed of any medical issues and concerns. At the end of my mother's life, good contact was maintained, video calls were arranged, and the matron sat with her in her final hours. My father and I are grateful for all Muscliff Home did to make my mother's final years as comfortable as possible.

It is an excellent team.

This is an excellent home. Staff and manager are very helpful, always welcoming with a smile on face. Happy to recommend them to anyone.

My wife was admitted in December with a serious illness. She has received superb nursing care. Her pain relief has been monitored and is now comfortable. Her daily needs are catered for by a happy, devoted and caring staff.

Nice homely feel as you walk in the door. Bright and clean. Extremely kind and caring staff. My mother is treated with dignity and kindness and nothing is too much trouble. Tea and coffee, cakes and biscuits are brought round very regularly. All the meals look lovely. Anything she wants, she can have. Plenty of activities if you want to join us and it is encouraged. Rooms are very clean and done by very pleasant staff. In fact, everyone we have come across has been lovely. Thank you.

Extremely recommend this care home. The staff are exceptional. I was always welcomed with a smile on face and they were kind and compassionate to the residents.
