Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My Mum has now been living in Millway house for nearly a year. She is much happier and less lonely than she was at home. She is well looked after by staff and feels cared for. There seems to be a low staff turnover (always the sign of a good place to work) and many have been there quite some time.
The staff are always friendly and caring. The Manager Claire is very approachable and Jo on the reception desk is always smiley and really helpful. My Mum enjoys the food and there is plenty to eat! The activities are varied and Sarah and her team work hard to ensure there are interesting things to do. My Mum has her nails done each week and very much likes the weekly church service by a local vicar/curate in the home. The communication with families is good and I receive regular phone calls from the nurses asking for feedback about Mums care. Millway House looks good and always smells nice and clean. I would say it's a really good home.

Placing my mum in a care home due to her progressing dementia was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, but Five Oaks has given me true peace of mind. The home is warm, clean, and welcoming, with spacious rooms, en-suite bathrooms, and a beautiful, well-kept garden. The staff are consistently
attentive, kind, and caring. My mum has been at Five Oaks for over a month, and the level of care has been excellent. Each resident has an individual care plan that all staff can access, and whenever I visit, my mum is always clean, comfortable, and well presented. There are regular activities, outings, and events to keep residents engaged, and visiting is completely flexible - family can come anytime, and staff are always friendly and accommodating. It's also easy to get updates over the phone. Five Oaks has made an incredibly difficult situation much easier, and I'm genuinely grateful for the wonderful care my mum receives. Highly recommended.

As a family we cannot thank or praise Nayland House more for the exemplary care it provides for my mother. She has severe Vascular Dementia, and as a family we made the heartbreaking decision 3.5 years ago that her needs were too great to be met safely at home. We had heard nothing but positive things
about Nayland House, and true to its name we remain extremely impressed at the exceptional level of care it provides. Clinical and management staff are polite, respectful and keep us fully informed about developments including weekly medical reviews. We have complete confidence that my mother is being looked after by the best possible team. We see firsthand when we visit her how happy she is, and how much she is looked after. I am a practising GP myself so am fully aware of the holistic needs required to look after complex residents such as my mother. However, I would not hesitate to recommend the Nayland House to anyone looking for a nurturing, supportive and loving home.

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
My sister is a long-term resident at Millway House, Weyhill, Andover. The current manager is the third in our experience during the time of my sister's residency. Millway has never lost its home-from-home appeal. The staff have been well selected in our view and are always a pleasure to deal with, whatever
their role may be. The home is kept clean and tidy, although there are signs of wear, and the single lift is very occasionally out of commission. Family members are always communicated with in a timely and polite manner.

My mother has just had a week of respite at Hargrave House. She has dementia and has never stayed away from home on her own before. We were very nervous to leave her. However she has had a wonderful time. All the staff were in regular contact with us ( day and night staff) reassuring us that she had
settled in really well and not to worry. When I went with my father to collect her, she was a diffferent woman. Smiling, laughing relaxed and gentle. The quiet, calm and professional care of the staff have obviously given her the rest and stimulation she needed. She told us she has 'had a wonderul holiday', and has made friends. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STaff for making mums stay with you such a lovely experience. It has given us and our dad the rest we really needed.

Woodbury Manor was our first choice when we needed to make the decision for our wonderful mum in 2023, we felt lucky to get a room here. The home is impeccably maintained including the gorgeous gardens. The staff from management, reception, all the amazing care team, housekeeping, catering and activities
all work so hard and the result is a caring and inviting place for mum to live and our family to visit. We always felt that mum was cared for exceptionally - she was always well dressed and the staff knew exactly where she was when we were greeted. The kindness our family has been shown and the love mum was given during her final weeks in particular will be something we'll never forget and always be thankful for. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Woodbury.

My wife and I visit my mum nearly every day. She also has visits from our 4 children and 5 grandchildren. One of my mum's sisters visits approx once a week. Mum also has regular telephone calls with my brother (almost daily) and one of her sisters (weekly)/
We have always found the staff (at all levels)
to be professional, respectful, courteous and efficient at all times. The most important thing of all to us is that my mum regularly tells everybody how happy she is living at Hargrave House and how well she is looked after by the staff.

As soon as we walked into Bullsmoor Lodge, we instantly knew this was the place we'd been looking for - the place felt airy, bright, colourful, smelt nice, and all the staff had smiles on their faces plus they were all so friendly.

We also immediately sensed a level of detail and care and attention

to residents that we didn't necessarily sense anywhere else.

We instantly knew this was the right place for us and this came as a massive relief as prior to that we were having doubts about everywhere we'd visited.

As well as being a lovely building and ideal size for what we wanted (neither too small nor too big), the staff are truly amazing. Every single person (carers, kitchen staff, cleaners, admin staff, management etc) that I came across was a genuine pleasure.

I feel very grateful to the management and staff for such a positive experience (thank you!).
