Cotswold House Care Home is a home that makes both clients and visitors feel very welcome. It has a nice friendly atmosphere, both staff and management are welcoming to everyone at the care home. It is always very clean, has comfortable chairs in both day rooms where music and TV is available.

I visited a friend here a few weeks ago and the care home seems lovely. The new refurbishment looks fantastic, very smart. My friend seems well cared for and is happy. The staff are friendly and always greet you with a smile.

My grandmother was a resident at Cotswold House. I would love to come to visit her as the atmosphere was always happy and staff welcoming.
Activities were fun, especially bath bomb making. My grandmother loved the entertainment as she loved to sing.
Food was always homemade of which my grandmother
loves and ate very well as her appetite returned during her stay there.
Lovely staff and lovely manager. Thank you for all you did.

My grandmother became a resident at Cotswold House Care Home after suffering a stroke in 2017. Moving her from her previous home to Cotswold Care Home was a big step but I have been very happy with the overall standard of the home - the atmosphere is caring and respectful, and my grandmother is very
happy there. Staff are always patient, giving her the spaces she needs while at the same time ensuring that all her needs are met. Her room is homely with beautiful views and always kept clean. She enjoys taking part in the activities organised by the home, like singing - and staff will spend time chatting with her in the living room. The home feels secure and management are always welcoming - I would definitely recommend this care home to others.

We can say that the present management is the best by far.

My father came to Cotswold House Care Home after a stay in the hospital, first for respite, then as a permanent resident.
The staff have made my dad feel very welcome and treat him with dignity. He feels secure and at home. The staff and carers make me feel welcome and listen to any concerns I have,
I am allowed to bring in the dog, which dad loves and this helps him feel more at home.
I would recommend Cotswold House Care Home as I feel it is a home from home.

My husband is a full time resident of Cotswold House in Stroud. My husband has parkinsons disease, lewy body dementia and has had a stroke, all of which has made him a quite difficult resident in many ways. The staff at Cotswold House have been incredibly patient, extremely caring in every way and have
always acted professional. I cannot fault the love and care each and every member of staff has shown to my husband - they have on many occasions "gone the extra mile" for my him and indeed the other residents too. I find the staff team, from the manager and assistant manager down through the staff, all work well together - as a team should work. This creates a very happy atmosphere which is apparent when you walk in!

I am very grateful to all regular carers and nurses at Cotswold House, day and night staff are smashing, at least I can sleep at night.
Some of the agency spend more time on their mobile phones. I would like all mobile phones handed in before staff go on duty. Maybe then the agency staff will be more
concerned about what's going on around them. Sorry but that's the one thing that made me cross.

My husband was in this care home for respite care sometime June 2015 for 2 weeks. I always found all the staff very kind and helpful. At the moment he has, I believe been here again so far for 2 weeks. Although of course he wishes to come home, I cannot imagine this will happen. I should be very relieved
and happy, knowing how kind they all are, to see him settle here.
