Being in Canada, it was wonderful to know that Nana was so well cared for by staff at Cotswold House. She enjoyed the care she received, the cups of tea and the singing/recreation programmes at the home. We truly appreciate all the kindness and care you put into each of your residents.

In the short time that my sister has been at this care home, the staff have been very good and positive at helping her to settle in and she is now showing signs of improvement. They have also taken the time to ascertain her likes and dislikes by discussing with family members and I now believe they fully understand all of her needs. They are very proactive in her care and they are helping her to socialise by taking her into the communal areas of the home, which she thoroughly enjoys. The manager and nursing staff update the family on progress and what she has been doing on a regular basis, they also keep us updated on any health or dental issues and telephone if they have any concerns. As a family, we are very positive about this care home, the management team, nursing and general staff.

My dad has lived in the care home since December 2018. I am very happy with the care and support he receives. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The home is kept spotlessly clean and very tidy.

I have peace of mind knowing that my dad is well looked after and safe.

The care and attention shown to my Father was exemplary diverse with compassion and respect. Over the period my father was resident, the facility was refurbished and the management and administration brought up to high standards.

But, the key praise must be given to the nursing and care team, to whom the greatest compliment I can give, is that they were like family to us and my Father. The food is also excellent.

I visited a friend here a few weeks ago and the care home seems lovely. The new refurbishment looks fantastic, very smart. My friend seems well cared for and is happy. The staff are friendly and always greet you with a smile.

My grandmother was a resident at Cotswold House. I would love to come to visit her as the atmosphere was always happy and staff welcoming.
Activities were fun, especially bath bomb making. My grandmother loved the entertainment as she loved to sing.
Food was always homemade of which my grandmother loves and ate very well as her appetite returned during her stay there.

Lovely staff and lovely manager. Thank you for all you did.

My grandmother became a resident at Cotswold House Care Home after suffering a stroke in 2017. Moving her from her previous home to Cotswold Care Home was a big step but I have been very happy with the overall standard of the home - the atmosphere is caring and respectful, and my grandmother is very happy there. Staff are always patient, giving her the spaces she needs while at the same time ensuring that all her needs are met. Her room is homely with beautiful views and always kept clean. She enjoys taking part in the activities organised by the home, like singing - and staff will spend time chatting with her in the living room. The home feels secure and management are always welcoming - I would definitely recommend this care home to others.

My mother has been at Cotswold Care Home for five plus years and over that time there have been a few changes of management.
We can say that the present management is the best by far.

I am totally satisfied with the care my mother is receiving and I am happy to have the opportunity in forwarding my views regarding Cotswold Care Home and their management.

My father came to Cotswold House Care Home after a stay in the hospital, first for respite, then as a permanent resident.
The staff have made my dad feel very welcome and treat him with dignity. He feels secure and at home. The staff and carers make me feel welcome and listen to any concerns I have, I am allowed to bring in the dog, which dad loves and this helps him feel more at home.

I would recommend Cotswold House Care Home as I feel it is a home from home.

My husband is a full time resident of Cotswold House in Stroud. My husband has parkinsons disease, lewy body dementia and has had a stroke, all of which has made him a quite difficult resident in many ways. The staff at Cotswold House have been incredibly patient, extremely caring in every way and have always acted professional. I cannot fault the love and care each and every member of staff has shown to my husband - they have on many occasions "gone the extra mile" for my him and indeed the other residents too. I find the staff team, from the manager and assistant manager down through the staff, all work well together - as a team should work. This creates a very happy atmosphere which is apparent when you walk in!

I am very grateful to all regular carers and nurses at Cotswold House, day and night staff are smashing, at least I can sleep at night.

Some of the agency spend more time on their mobile phones. I would like all mobile phones handed in before staff go on duty. Maybe then the agency staff will be more concerned about what's going on around them. Sorry but that's the one thing that made me cross.

My husband was in this care home for respite care sometime June 2015 for 2 weeks. I always found all the staff very kind and helpful. At the moment he has, I believe been here again so far for 2 weeks. Although of course he wishes to come home, I cannot imagine this will happen. I should be very relieved and happy, knowing how kind they all are, to see him settle here.
