My mum went into the Knoll Nursing Home in May and and the family are very pleased with the care given to my mum. The staff are very good and they look after my mum very well, and the home has a homely feel about it, and the food is lovely. The home is kept clean.

I have been here 2 years come Christmas. All staff and management are excellent. I would not want to be anywhere else. The only thing I felt, on occasion, is they may be understaffed. Even then, they cope. Residents suffer in no way.

Dad has now been a resident at The Knoll for five months and has settled well. The quality of care and kindness of the staff is outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble and dad loves the food! We had no experience of care homes before and have been helped through the process by the admin staff. It isn't an easy decision to make, but the peace of mind we now have knowing dad is safe and looked after is worth more than anything. It's a lovely place.

Care for my mother during the difficult period of lockdown, was excellent and staff worked hard to protect the residents, family and staff. End of life care for my mother and for us, as a family, was sensitive and very kind. The Knoll cares for residents as part of their big family and we have been appreciated all that has been done for my mother, during her 2.5 years in their care. Thank you.

I have no experience in any other nursing home, so I cannot make a comparison. Also, the Covid outbreak has made visiting a less pleasant experience than it should be; and there have been many weeks when it has been unsafe to visits. However, it is also unfortunate that so much building works are being done at present so that I am unable to comment on the gardens, which are a selling point in your brochure. My parent finds most of the staff very helpful, though a few are not taking so much trouble as at first. I, myself have found all the staff very helpful; they listen to any small problems and act promptly to cure them.

Thank you for your feedback; we appreciate all feedback so we can improve our services for those individuals residing at the home. The covid-19 pandemic has certainly impacted on resident's visits and we fully understand the frustrations the government visiting guidelines had on residents,...

Overall Experience
Our mother was a resident in The Knoll for approximately two years, and during this time, she has been cared for with dignity and compassion.
All members of staff contributed to making each day as comfortable and happy as possible, always attending to her personal needs with cheerful efficiency and consideration. The home is warm, clean and well organised. The meals were varied and clearly enjoyed by the residents, my mother included. Her room was bright, warm and well equipped. We were involved from the beginning with her care plan and kept up to date with any changes.

On behalf of our mother and ourselves, we thank the staff for the dedicated care they have provided and would not hesitate to recommend the home.

My sister has been at The Knoll Nursing Home for 2 years+. I have not seen her so settled and well cared for before. Just lately, when my sister has been in the hospital with a life-threatening condition, their continued care has been outstanding and has had a significant effect on her recovery. I am extremely grateful and in awe of all you have done.

My father was treated with the utmost dignity and respect during his few months at The Knoll Nursing Home. All of the staff were very kind and pleasant to my father and we were always made to feel very welcome when we visited. It is obvious when visiting that the staff genuinely care about the well-being of their residents. It was reassuring to know that dad was receiving the care and support he deserved.
