My mother was extremely well looked after for the last five weeks of her life. She was comfortable and content at The Knoll, throughout her short stay. The staff were, without exception, kind, caring, compassionate and professional at all times. Mums needs were always met with smiles, soft words and individual attention at all times. I chose this home for her for these very important qualities in the staff, together with clean, comfortable and welcoming surroundings.

My Mother received wonderful care from the time she entered in February until the time she passed in April. The staff were always considerate of her needs and were always on hand to assist her in her needs whether they be medical or comfort. Myself and my family members who visited were made to feel very welcome at all times and received wonderful hospitality from management and caring staff. Even the non caring staff were equally welcoming. A Care Home of excellence!

My mother was treated with dignity. Whenever we visited she was clean and dressed and in the evening was put into her nightware which was all clean. Mums hair was always done and put up. Towards the end mum did not want to eat but the food was very good. My step father would feed her lunch when he went in. Staff were always smiling and happy to assist and we were offered hot drinks when we visited. There were activities but mum didn't want to take part.

Our family was deeply grateful for the experience my father had while a resident at this home. The carers truly lived up to their name and were, simply put, amazing. Their dedication to providing compassionate and dignified care was evident every single day.
often going the extra mile to ensure his level of comfort happiness, the level of personalized, genuine attention made a difficult time much easier for us, providing immense peace of mind.

While the physical facilities were consistently clean, welcoming, and well-maintained,

Very friendly, welcoming staff. They all worked well as a team. A strong ethos of care shone through. I felt they took the time to find out what was important to us with an excellent balance of professionalism and warmth. They were all thoughtful and caring to my husband which made a very difficult time more bearable. They were helpful and respectful after my husband's death.

The Knoll is an excellent home, with plenty of care from staff who go out of their way to attend to my mother's and other residents' needs. Also good food and excellent hygiene and cleanliness. They have a modern external building called The Lodge where my mother does various activities including baking cookies, chocolate, reindeer making, wool crafting and autumnal wreaths. The staff are always happy and smiling.

Being at the late stages of dementia, my father received outstanding care from all the staff. As a family, we were satisfied and happy with the nursing home in every respect. This meant that when it was time for him to say goodbye to this world, he was treated with the dignity and grace he deserved.
