Helen, the manager, listens to all your questions and responds quickly and with understanding.
Highly recommend.
Thank you for this kind review, I will pass your kind words back to the team.
After quite a difficult year, my family and I came to the decision that my mum needed far more than family and daily carers could provide. After an initial visit and several questions and queries, we decided to choose this care setting for mum. She was greeted very warmly and introduced to many of the staff and management on her first day. Mum is very anxious and has not always found it easy, but staff are kind, helpful and empathetic.
Thank you for your kind words, I will share this feedback with the team.
Eager to help. Very professional but firstly very personable. Every member of staff I have had contact with has been exemplary. Could not praise this home more. So glad I found this place.
Many thanks for your kind words, it was our absolute pleasure to care for your loved one
I cannot thank or praise the staff enough for the care they provided at such a difficult time.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It was a true privilege to care for your father during such an important and sensitive time. We are deeply grateful that you felt he was treated with the compassion, dignity and comfort he deserved. Your comments mean a great deal to our entire team, and we are honoured to have been able to support both your father and your family.
The care provided by staff to my husband is excellent. He has been a resident here for 3 years and has been treated with dignity and kindness which is very gratifying as he has several very complex needs. Any issues are quickly and efficiently sorted out by management. It is a place where all residents are given the best individual attention and they are all part of the family. Also a very good activities program is carried out on a daily basis by an excellent team.
Thank you very much for your kind words. Looking after your husband is our pleasure. I will convey your kind words to the team
Dad has taken a while to settle, having lived independently for many years. Staff are attentive, foods great, lots of activities to keep everyone busy. Staff always willing to answer questions of help in anyway,
Many thanks for your kind words. I will share this with the team.
I found all the staff to be caring & helping. The activities try to involve all the members. The area that's used for members to relax during the day is large & bright with clocks (important) to elderly people, & paintings done by members adorn the walls. Daily, the seats are rotated, which puts members in different positions. The managment are always available and holds meetings for updates and feedback. The staff do a great job under sometimes very difficult conditions.
Thank you for taking the time to publish this review, your feedback is always valuable.
We are very happy with Mom being here, staff are always very friendly and Mom gets very good care here. I have come in today, 10th November, and Mom is happy and eating her dinner which she enjoys, especially the cake. The staff are very attentive and always very caring.
Thank you for your kind words, its been our pleasure to care for mom for over 7 years.
We, as a family, have no worries at all. We know he gets the best care he could ask for. He's so happy. Food is fab. John has a cooked breakfast every morning. So getting spoilt rotten. Would recommend Allenbrook.
Thank you for your lovely review - it really means a lot to our whole team. We work hard to ensure every resident and family feels supported, cared for, and valued, so your feedback is incredibly encouraging.
I was looking for respite care for my Mom who has dementia. I approached Allenbrook, from the first meeting, they put my mind at rest. Gave me a tour of the home and explained in detail what they provide. They are very attentive, and Mom felt at ease. Her room is light and bright. We were encouraged to bring a few pictures and trinkets that she liked to have around her to put in the room. I was amazed how quickly she settled in., from the managers, nurses, carers, chefs, activity staff, housekeeping, nothing is too much trouble for them to help you. Mom is more stimulated helping with her activities, to do. The animal man she loved with all the birds and owls. The care is outstanding, giving tablets, her hygiene, her drinking lots, eating. I can't sing their praises enough, it as really out my mind at rest. So much so we are looking at making it permanent.
Thank you for taking the time to share your kind words and positive feedback. We're truly delighted to hear that you've had such a good experience with our care and support.
Dad went to Allenbrook for end of life care and was only there for 10 days. During those 10 days he received excellent care, comfort and was treated with respect and dignity by each member of the friendly staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble. This care extended to my brother and I, too, each time we ²visited. We are so grateful to everyone at Allenbrook for enabling Dad to spend his final days in such a peaceful, caring environment.
Thank you Julie for your kind words and thank you for entrusting us to care for your Dad. Our thoughts are with you.
It has taken a while but Mom has settled into life here and with encouragement is participating in activities, which is good to see. Care staff are excellent and we are very happy with the overall care Mom is receiving. This is Mom's first experience of living in this type of environment and ti was always going to creat challenges but the care staff have really helped Mom adjust to her new life.
Thank you very much for your kind words and feedback
Very pleased with my dad's care. He is well looked after and has improved since being in your care.
Thank you for your kind words, the team at Allenbrook strive to care for our people
From day one all the staff have been very friendly and approachable. They take very good care of my husband. There's a wake and shake in the morning so its exercising all the body and there's activities all day keeping the brain active. They make a big effort for celebrations eg Christmas which I enjoy also.
Thank you for your kind words. Allenbrook team strive to provide a good quality of life
Nan has been in Allenbrook since January and the difference in her is fantastic. She was bedbound at home for 2 years. She's now out in the chair everyday socialising and playing games. She is so much more alert and the level of care she gets is great. I find all the staff friendly and welcoming. We are very happy.
Thank you for your kind words, we strive to provide excellent care
Staff work hard to care for residents, and residents are always treated compassionately. Staff also work hard to make family members feel welcome. I feel that my father is settled at Allenbrook and feels secure there.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review
My experience has been very positive, the nurses and carers have been friendly, helpful and supportive. My father came here from hospital and has settled in and appears happy. I'm happy my dad is cared for in lovely friendly atmosphere. The home is welcoming and friendly with wonderful staff.

The staff are caring and compassionate, my father is always well presented. My father requires all care and the staff are responsive to his needs. The staff always make myself and my family welcome. We are provided with refreshments during our visits. My father responds to staff with a smile. As a family we feel my father has settled well and has a good rapport with all of the staff.
Thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate your feedback.
Dad said "You want for nothing here."
