Registered RGN with extensive experience in care home management. I have stepped in to support the team whilst a new full-time manager is sourced.
I am passionate about care and look forward to continuing to provide care & support to all of the team, our residents and their relatives.
I joined Bricklehampton in 2020 as a registered nurse, and the home has supported me with my career progression.
I am proud of the home and the team I work alongside, and I believe in maintaining strong relationships with residents and relatives, and I understand the important contribution that these relationships make to a care home
Financial and Business Management.
I look after the finances and home maintenance at Bricklehampton and I am usually the first point of contact for anyone looking for a placement here. My background is mainly service sector work from plumbing & heating to roofing and facilities management. I ran my own business for almost 20 years so hopefully I have learned the skills required for juggling lots of different and varied tasks at once.
This is my first time working in the care sector but I am thoroughly enjoying the role. I like to get involved with the residents on a personal level and help out with group activities and functions. I have a passion for arts and baking, both of which have come in handy with our 'Supper Club' meals, quite contemplation zone and 'Days out' days.
The team work together to get to know the individual residents to provide nutritional diets that meet the residents needs and well as likes/dislikes.
This year they are proud holders of the 5* triple rating.
We have a great team of people supporting residents in their care and well being across Nursing, Carers, Activities, Patient Services and Catering.
We have a friendly and collaborative working environment for staff and residents
