Review of New Day Nursing Home from I M (Daughter-in-law of Resident) published on 6 August 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
My mother-in-law has been at New Day for about 18 months. We are so happy that we found this nursing home. The staff are excellent, they are all very welcoming and considerate. She has medical and mobility problems and we have full confidence in all of the carer's and nursing staff when dealing with her. She always has a smile and laugh when we visit her and activities are done every day with the residents. It is like being part of a big family and she has really settled in. Wouldn't want her to be anywhere else.
↩Reply from Amal Raja, Group General Manager at New Day Nursing Home

I would like to highly commend the high standard of care dad received whilst spending his last weeks at Hayes Park. The staff were exceptionally caring and attentive, showing genuine compassion and empathy to not only Dad but us also. Never failing to ask how we are and offering food and drinks at every opportunity. Dad never wanted to be in a nursing home but they tried there best to make it homely and welcoming.
They allowed us to visit and stay whenever we wanted allowing us quality time with dad during his last days for which we can forever grateful.

My mum has been in this care home since 2022. She has vascular dementia. When she first went in she was able to walk about and the staff were brilliant with her Dancing with her when they had music and helping her when she needed to find her way ,.unfortunately now she is bed ridden and they are just the same always smiley and talking to her in a lovely way even though you can't understand what she is saying anymore. All the care workers are all friendly and very helpful .The keyworker will phone you with any problems ,or give you updates about medication etc . The food is great 3 courses at lunch every day which my mum really enjoys .
I think this a wonderful carehome I'm Glad my mum was moved here when she came out of hospital .All I can say is thank you it is a lot less stressful for me and my mum now .

Review of New Day Nursing Home from C B (Daughter of Resident) published on 22 July 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
When I was told my dad had to go into a nursing home, New Day was not my first choice of care home. I am so glad my first choice was not available because the care he has received at New Day could not be better. It is exemplary. The staff (including management) are amazing. They are attentive, compassionate, empathetic, they listen and they learned very quickly how to deal with my dad who is not always the easiest of residents but who regardless they treat with respect. They keep me fully informed and advised of his needs and decisions about his care are always discussed with me.
I am so glad my dad is at New Day as i dont have to worry about him, I know he is receiving excellent care.

Overall Experience
My Mom has been in this home for over 2 years & for all that time i have had no concerns whatsoever. She is happy & contented & all the staff are wonderful. The care they give my Mom is amazing. I don't ever need to worry about a thing. Mom enjoys the food & everytime i visit she always looks clean & tidy, her hair has always been combed & she's always smiling. Everyone are so friendly & the residents, staff & residents families are all just like one big family. The most important thing you wish for your loved one is that they are comfortable, happy, contented & getting lots of love & care & there my Mom is getting it in abundance. I never have to worry if i can't visit for a few days because i have peace of mind knowing she is being well looked after. If anyone is looking for a home for their loved one this is the place.

Review of New Day Nursing Home from A J (Son of Resident) published on 20 July 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
New Day is a lovely home caring for the elderly who have complicated needs such as dementia, mobility issues and nursing care. The staff are well lead by a management team who are kind, caring and approachable. They make time to make visitors feel welcome and are always happy to answer any questions relatives have about residence routine, care and other needs. The management are very open about care plans and are happy to share any documentation relating to my mother's care. I feel informed and part of the care plan. My mother has been a resident now for over 5vyears and I have never had any concerns about her care and welfare. The staff are always pleasant, smiling and obviously care for the residents. The decor has recently been updated giving the interior a fresh and bright appearance. 8 would also like to say a personal thank you to Ritu and Joanna for their help and support to both my mother, myself and visitors, they are a breath of fresh air and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Overall Experience
Since my Mother in Law moved to New Day and to-date, all the staff have made her feel comfortable, cared for and well looked after. Regarding her meal time, as she is used to Asian Foods, they ensure she regularly has them. Nothing phases them and what we like the most is they always have a smile on their face and happy to help. We would definitely recommend New Day.

Review of Coppermill Care from Lynda C (Daughter of Resident) published on 13 July 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
My mother was a resident at Coppermill Care for the last 7 weeks of her life, upon discharge from hospital. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone who is considering Coppermill Care Home. The flexibility, care, kindness and dignity they showed my mother and us, her family, was amazing. The activities they arrange are fantastic; I never thought I would see mum knit again (she hadn't for years due to her dementia) but yet, upon learning mum used to love knitting, knitting needles and wool were brought in and mum automatically started knitting - it was incredible. The management team and staff genuinely care about all the residents and I could not have wished for anything more for mum.

Since mum went into care at the Lindens, Stoke Hammond permanently from March 2023, we have been really impressed by the level of care. Anxieties from when she was on her own, even with a live-in carer, vanished, knowing she was now secure and well looked after. There was always some activity to entertain, whether regular crafts, music, physical exercise, games, the annual summer fete, or specials like celebrating seasons or specials like the coronation. They were all well-organised and for some I joined in! If there were ever an incident with mum, however small, we were kept informed. Her level of personal hygiene, appearance and dress were better than I had seen her in many years, and medication was always taken very seriously.
On the day mum passed, the home let us know as soon as this was expected, and we were given space around her until the undertakers arrived. Finally, all the key staff lined up as she was taken out, which is a prime example of their level of care.
↩Reply from Dessy Ivanova, Manager at The Lindens Residential Care Home
