The activities that the home runs to provide entertainment are great. I particularly enjoyed the carol singing and mum is always telling me about the cookies and sausage rolls they have helped make.
Our contact with the home has always been great. They have always acted on any issues with mum quickly and the relationship they have with the local medical teams means they can action interventions much quicker than we, as family, had been able to when we were caring for mum ourselves.
The management and staff are empathetic and meet my husband's many needs with dignity and professionalism. They are also supportive of me. My husband's many medical problems are dealt with immediately and efficiently. I feel lucky that we found The Lindens.

I’ve been in the care sector for over 17 years, and it’s truly where my heart is. With experience in dementia care, quality monitoring, training, and coaching, I’ve learned that delivering compassionate, person-centred care is what I love most.
For more than 8 years, I’ve had the privilege of managing care teams, and I proudly joined The Lindens in August 2022. My aim every day is to create a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment where residents, families, and staff feel supported, valued, and at home.
I believe that great care starts with connection, kindness, and understanding.
Outside of work, I love to travel – to discover and explore new places and cultures.
I have been part of The Lindens team since 2014, progressing from care staff to Deputy Manager over the past 11 years. With over 30 years of experience in the care industry since leaving college, I hold a Level 5 qualification in Care Home Leadership and Management.
Since moving into management in 2022, I remain deeply passionate about supporting both our residents and staff. I believe in leading by example and enjoy spending time on the floor, building strong relationships with residents, their families, and my team — who I consider one big family.
Outside of work, music is my greatest passion and a source of relaxation.
I joined in 2020 as an Activities Assistant and have since progressed to Senior Activities Coordinator, bringing five years of experience in care home activities. Our home is NAPA-registered, and I have completed CPD training in delivering activities for individuals living with dementia. I also proudly act as our home's Dementia Champion. In my role, I lead daily activities, outings, and special events, with a strong focus on helping residents reconnect with past passions such as painting, dancing, and sports.
In addition to my role, I manage our home’s social media channels, using my Level 2 certificate in digital marketing and ongoing studies in Computing and Business to help families stay connected and engaged in our community life. Supporting well-being, connection, and dignity is at the heart of everything I do. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and spending time with friends.
I’ve been a proud member of The Lindens team since 2009. With a strong background in Nursing, my journey began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, followed by roles as a Registered Nurse in the Philippines and Saudi Arabia.
Now working as a Senior Care Supervisor and the home’s Medication Champion, I’m passionate about delivering safe, compassionate care. I strive to uphold the dignity, wellbeing, and safety of every resident, ensuring they’re treated with the empathy and respect they deserve.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family.
I began my journey in the UK healthcare sector in 2016, starting as a care assistant at The Lindens with no prior experience. I was warmly welcomed and supported to grow—progressing to Senior Carer and now Care Coordinator.
My role is centred on truly understanding our residents' needs, values, and preferences. I believe in delivering person-centred care that puts each individual at the heart of every decision. I understand that moving into a new environment later in life can be overwhelming, so I focus on making transitions as smooth and supportive as possible—for both residents and their families.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking and growing my own vegetables.
Joined in 2010, I have over 22 years’ experience in care, beginning with Radiologic Technology studies in Manila. I was privileged to provide nursing care for a Prince in Saudi Arabia.
I currently work as a Senior Care Supervisor.
I oversee resident care, deliver, and serve as the home’s Infection Control Champion to maintain a safe environment. I believe in treating every resident with dignity, respect, and as an individual.
I’m proud to be part of a team committed to high standards of kind, professional care. I bring a positive attitude every day, knowing our residents deserve our full attention.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with family, going to church, and watching movies.
I’m proud to have been part of The Lindens family since 2010. For the past 15 years, I’ve had the joy of making a difference in our residents’ daily lives through food – something I’m truly passionate about.
Over the years, I’ve learned just how important it is to create meals that not only meet different dietary needs, but also bring comfort, joy, and a little taste of home. Whether it’s a favourite dish or something new to try, I love seeing happy faces at mealtimes!
Before joining The Lindens, I worked in a few different food roles, and I’ve always enjoyed being part of a team that puts care at the heart of everything we do.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll find me shopping, going to church, cooking at home, or off on a little adventure somewhere new!
I'm the Head of Maintenance at our care home, and I've been proud to be part of the team since 2006. I originally joined as a landscaper, then moved into general maintenance, and eventually stepped into the role of Head of Maintenance. Over the years, my responsibilities have grown, and I'm now also actively involved in Health & Safety.
I've recently completed the Train the Trainer qualification, and I'm now delivering training to staff, which is something I really enjoy. I'm passionate about learning, developing new skills, and helping others grow too - especially when it comes to creating a safe, supportive environment for both residents and colleagues.
Health and safety is something I care deeply about. I believe that a well-maintained and safe home isn't just good practice—it's essential to the well-being of everyone who lives and works here.
Outside of work, I’m equally passionate about darts. I play competitively and even compete in various tournaments—something that keeps me focused, social, and sharp.
