Kind regards.
My mum was moved to Bromson Hill from hospital March 2023. I cannot praise the staff enough, nothing was too much trouble. They treated my mum like she was part of the family. I knew my mum was in a safe place and was well looked after. Unfortunately, she passed away in December, but even at what was a difficult time, the staff gave 100% care till the end.
Thank you for your kind words and suggestions. Kind regards, Bromson Hill.
It was a difficult decision for us to move Dad into a nursing home but my sister and I are extremely happy with the care provided, all of the carers are compassionate and look after Dad as if he was their own family. We are assured that he is safe and well cared for.
Best wishes,
Everyone at Bromson Hill
I was the LPA/solicitor and good friend of two of Bromson Hill Care Home's residents, who were there from January 2021 through February 2023. The building itself is older and for that reason could use some repair, but it was maintained well overall, especially given the difficulties of being in the health care field during Covid. The facility managed the throes of Covid using every available precaution for the residents. My friends were served hearty, healthy meals. They received appropriate medical attention when they needed it. The staff seemed to be caring and attentive to their needs. In fact, my friends often spoke highly of the staff to me. I felt they received very good care while there. Early on, there was one gent who was in management who my friends found to be difficult and unpleasant, but he left the facility and was replaced by a wonderful manager. Bromson Hill has several rooms which vary in size, but which are all comfortably appointed. The security is good.
Bromson Hill
My wife of 59 years suffering from Advanced Dementia was moved by The NHS Continuing Health Care Team from hospital in Rugby to Bromson Hill Care Home in August 2022. The level of care she receives exactly matches the level of very high dependency she needs. She receives 24/7 nursing there and she was moved there because no other home in the are we live in could cope with her needs.
She is settled and happy there and has a good relationship with all the staff who clearly love her and she is very safe there. I and my family visit regularly and at different times and are impressed at the close attention she receives. The staff also have a close relationship with us and respond well to our view of her preferences. The staff invite us to social events there and we are always welcome and we feel at home there too. The actual building is almost historic and shows its age, but is well equipped and very well organised and run by a consistently dedicated team.
The staff at Bromson Hill are what makes this nursing home stand out for me. The team are friendly, patient and very kind to the residents making it feel very homely. My mum has been at the home for 6 months and has settled in well. Although she doesn't have dementia, the staff take time to talk to her and encourage her to participate in activities that are laid on. It's always lovely to receive photos of special occasions and families are invited to join in celebrations. Thank you to the manager and your fabulous team!
Many thanks for your kind comments and suggestions and we appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback.
Bromson Hill Nursing Home
Lovely nursing home for my mum who has dementia. It is clean and has the feel of a family home. The staff are wonderful and my mum is safe and cared for and loved and happy. We have been sent pictures of her singing and dancing! The management have gone out of their way to make sure that my dad who visits is cared for too. A very romantic table was set for him and Mum on Valentine's Day and recently when he visited on his birthday they made a little celebration for him, much to his embarrassment but pleasure. It takes the weight off our minds to know that both our parents are cared for. Thank you Bromson Hill.
Dear Madam. Thank you for your kind comments. It is our pleasure to care for your mother. Best wishes.
Since the management changed late in 2022. The improvement of Bromson Hill has been remarkable. The interior has been given a facelift - it's brighter, and more like a home by adding flowers to tables, rearrangement of furniture, a welcoming area ie. armchairs, receptionist desk and a smiling receptionist and the feeling of warmth and care is very evident. The staff and residents are happy and contented to be here, especially my brother.
Best wishes,
Bromson Hill.
Staff really caring and genuine. Demonstrate a real intention to make residents as comfortable as possible. Very flexible with regard to relative's needs not just residents. The facility is really clean and well presented. There is a real happy feeling in the place.
Thank you Sir for the kind words, the feedback and encouragement. It is our pleasure to care for your father. As we head into Spring, there will be lots for residents to do including our Easter party and ongoing art therapy and other activities.
Best regardsAll at Bromson Hill
They always go the extra mile and are so kind and patient in situations I would find frustrating. After four months in the hospital, it is such a relief to have my father settled, clean, cared for and calm. I cannot thank or recommend Bromson Hill enough.
It means a lot to the whole team here. It is our pleasure to assist you and your family.
Bromson Hill Nursing Home
My wife is in this home, she is 90 and I am 91. The home is an old mansion house on top of a hill in a wooded area with wonderful views. The home is comfortable and the staff are more than friendly, very willing to help. They do have some activities but my wife is of the more active type. The main problem is I live in Coventry and have stopped driving so access is a problem.
Many thanks for the kind words, your ongoing support and the feedback.
Best wishes
Bromson Hill Nursing Home
I think Mum's physical and mental health will improve staying here.
The home has improved with the more new residents that have arrived, with more mental stimulation.
We appreciate your feedback and thank you for your kind words.

The Director of Bromson Hill Care Home and all of the staff have been brilliant in trying to help my mum settle into her new home. She has been very ill and her previous care home could no longer meet her needs: it has been a traumatic experience for her but I am so pleased with the level of care and attention she receives: nothing is too much trouble for the staff and my mother can be quite demanding at times! The standard of cleanliness is very good and the staff are calm and unhurried. I am extremely satisfied with mums care at Bromson Hill, thank you to everyone concerned.
Clean and calm environment, super helpful and careful employees. Large rooms overlooking the garden. Bedroom furniture is good. Your family will be well taken care of. Thank you Bromson Hill Nursing Home.
My mother has just gone into Bromson Nursing Home. From day one I am fully assured she is well-cared for and looked after exceptionally well. All staff are very helpful and always keen to assist any needs and requirements. Very clean and tidy home, and all very kind. My mum is in a lovely comfortable room with a nice view and very happy she will remain here for her stay.
Many thanks for your kind comments and suggestions.
My mother doesn't leave the room due to mobility issues but I always find her clean and smelling fresh, this is my main concern. The staff are friendly accomodating and look after my mum showing her care, compassion and dignity.
Many thanks for your kind words. It is a pleasure to care for your mother.
Bromson Hill Nursing Home
Never had any experience before as this is the only nursing home I have used. Mostly everyone is friendly and helpful, but always one who dislikes something - that is human nature. I do not like mixing with other residents as that is my nature and needs. If other residents or staff do not like it or agree, that is their opinion. Every day and night is very long, but with nothing to do, that is what it is!
Kind regards
Bromson Hill
My husband has been in this nursing home during the pandemic so it is impossible for me to comment on many of the relevant options. Given the difficult restrictions in place I would say the care is good. The staff are often under a lot of pressure and cannot always answer the phone. It would be helpful to have a message played to callers when getting no reply 'please call later' or 'leave a message', anything is better than ringing out unanswered. Kindly staff.
Bromson Hill is a very pleasant, light and airy care home. The staff and management are extremely pleasant and approachable, nothing is too much trouble. Residents are treated with great care and dignity. It is always clean and doesn't smell (like some care homes), the food is excellent, all home-cooked and varied. Any problems can always be talked through and solved by talking to the staff and management. Also, there is now an activity program for entertainment, which is really welcomed and needed by the residents.
Bromson Hill.
My mother has received excellent care since being admitted 6 months ago. Although she is bedridden now, and has been for some 5 months, great care has been shown both in her care of hygiene and time devoted to trying to feed her. Often carers have called in the room to establish all is ok but unfortunately, she cannot converse with them - just a few short words to her at a time is as much as she can take in. I cannot see how more consideration could be taken by the staff to keep her comfortable, they show a tenderness in the work they carry out.
