My Nanny received the very best care from day 1 right to very end.
All the staff are so welcoming and friendly. We loved coming to visit both my nan and the staff.
They made her last days fun, enjoyable and happy.
Myself and the family can not thank the team enough for everything they have done for our family. We 10000% recommend this care home to anyone needing to find a place for their loved ones.
We love you !!
Thank you so much for your kind words.
We're really sorry for your loss, and it means a lot to hear that your Nanny was well cared for and happy with us. The team will be truly touched by your message.
It was a pleasure getting to know you and your family, and we really appreciate your trust and recommendation.
Sending our warmest wishes to you all.
The staff were all kind , polite & always happy to answer any questions we had,
The house was clean & always warm & the other residents all looked well & content.
Being near to Christmas there was plenty of activities to do & visits from local nursery children to sing carols,
Would highly recommend netherhall.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're really pleased to hear that your dad, and your family, felt welcome from day one. It means a lot to know that his medical and dietary needs were well looked after and that the team were kind, helpful, and always happy to answer your questions. We're...
The quality of care, love and empathy has touched our hearts in how the team have gone above and beyond with the care.
Special thanks to the Nurses who have kept communication ongoing throughout and worked with integrity and professionalism throughout you were amazing and inspiring to watch and a credit to your profession.
The cooks who cater for every residents need and always happy to tweak menus to ensure everyone has a favourite meal but there interaction and empathy to all residents is first class in providing delicious fantastic foods.
The carers themselves who are so much more than their role and provide fun and laughter in the dark times and a care and amazing humanity putting people at ease and giving hope and comfort to families.
The cleaning team again who provide that personal touch to families and residents and who keep the hygiene 100% cleans safe.
Thank you so much for your beautiful and heartfelt message. It truly means the world to our whole team to know that your aunt felt cared for and supported during such a difficult time. We're deeply touched by your kind words about every part of our team - from the nurses and carers to the cooks...
Our dad came to live at netherhall for his end of life he was made to feel at home from the moment he arrived and both himself and us as a family were always made to feel welcome the staff are all very friendly and happy going about there working day but always found the time to chat or even wave as they passed .The nurses were excellent and went above and beyond to manage dads complex needs the managers ensured all the training was updated to high standards we are only sorry he never lived longer to enjoy his new home more but we as a family will be eternally grateful to each and everyone that helped make his final weeks as happy and comfortable as possible
Thank you so much for your lovely words. It truly meant a lot to us to care for your dad and to get to know both him and your family. We're so glad he felt at home here and that you all felt welcome and supported - that's exactly what we aim for every day. The whole team was very fond of him, and...
Very good - The staff are very caring to me.
Thank you for your kind feedback - we're delighted to hear that you feel well cared for by our staff.
I already have experience of Nether Hall as my wife was diagnosed with Parkinson's and has been admitted as a resident. I had spent several weeks assisting in feeding my wife, which meant seeing her every day. I am pleased with her being a Nether House and for both of us it seems as if we are coming home.
It's wonderful to hear that Nether Hall feels like home for both you and your wife, and that she's receiving such caring support.
The staff at Nether Hall are exceptionally caring , professional and fun. I feel my elderly Mum is in such good hands. The home is very well managed and exceptionally clean. There is an activity team of three who are always coming up with fun and innovative activities for all the residents, including those who are bed-bound. No-one is forgotten and all are treated with care and respect.
Thank you for your kind words! We're thrilled your mum feels so well cared for. Our team takes pride in providing fun, respect, and exceptional care for all our residents.
Our parents came to Netherhall during 2024. We have found the management, care staff and Activities staff all to be excellent. The home itself is welcoming and very clean. Residents are cared for extremely well, treated with respect and dignity. The food is very appetising and daily menus are varied and all dietary needs are catered for. It is a care home I have no hesitation in recommending to others.
Thank you for your kind words. We're so pleased you've found our team, care, and home environment to be excellent. Your recommendation means a great deal to us.
Dad moved into Nether Hall 18 months ago after suffering falls, and the home care package offered was not sufficient for his needs. When he moved in, he announced that he knew that he could no longer live at home and that he was determined to enjoy his time at Nether Hall, and this has turned out to be true.
The standard of care has been excellent and the staff are genuinely interested in the residents' personalities as well as their physical welfare. As Dad has weakened further, his needs have been quickly assessed and care adjusted accordingly. The nurses deal with medical appointments and emergencies well, manage medication and keep the family informed promptly of incidents. The activities team work hard to keep the residents active and entertained.
The older parts of the building are probably not perfect for a modern care home, but the majority of rooms are in the newer extensions and the staff deal with everything in a practical and usually cheerful manner.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We're delighted to hear your dad feels happy and supported at Nether Hall, and it means a lot to know our team's care and dedication are making a difference. Your kind words will be shared with everyone here.
She is so looked after and cared for. From the moment I walked through the door I knew she would be ok. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and respectful not just to the people who stay here but to visitors. There is always something going on by the amazing activity team. The carers really care. I’m told that the food is amazing. When I go and see her I feel part of the “family”. You really can feel the love. If I was asked to choose a home for my mum I couldn’t have picked any better.
Nether Hall is an exceptional Care/Nursing home. The management team, care staff, Kitchen/housekeeping and the wonderful activity team go above and beyond. The personal touch they offer is bespoke and having visited numerous other homes, nothing compares to Nether Hall. Mum was diagnosed with the onset of Vascular Dementia and needed more care, she has settled so well and made some lovely friends.
Thank you very much for your review and kind words - as the manager I am very proud of the team here, they genuinely do care for the residents and do whatever they can to make the residents happy.
My Mother's been a resident of Nether Hall Care Home for the last two years and I can honestly say, although this seemed an impossible decision at the time I have absolutely no regrets. My Mother is sadly affected by Alzheimer's Disease and is fully reliant on the Netherhall team of dedicated nursing and care staff for all of her care needs. When my Mother first moved into the care home, she was sadly recovering from delirium and was requiring an extremely high level of care/support which without hesitation was offered by Nether Hall's lovely manager and her team. Since then, with continual patience, dedication and person-centered care my Mother's behaviours have settled and it's lovely to see the relationships she now has. I also need to mention how truly amazing the activity team are! These ladies are incredibly thoughtful and creative, spending time with each resident and engaging them in a wide range of individual/group activities on a regular basis. I can't thank the Nether Hall team enough!
Thank you so much for your review. It has been a pleasure to care for your mum, such a lovely lady.
Both of my parents moved into Nether Hall Care Home at the beginning of January 2023 and the care given to them has been exceptional. But since my mum's passing during February, we cannot thank the team enough for the love and support given to Dad. Plus, they certainly keep him occupied and engaged in between family visits.
Thank you for your response. Such a lovely couple and so much history to share about their lives together.
The quality of care at Nether Hall is excellent. The staff are all very kind and caring, in fact, they are exemplary. My stepmother had been a resident for a number of years but sadly died in February. During her time in Nether Hall, she was looked after with dignity. On my visits to Nether Hall, she always looked well cared for and the Home was always spotlessly clean. I really appreciated the video calls that the activities team facilitated so that, despite living several hundred miles from Nether Hall, I was able to have regular contact with my stepmother. The staff at Nether Hall were also very kind to me when my stepmother died, and talked to me on a video call and gave me reassurance that my stepmother's passing was peaceful and dignified. In fact, I can't thank the staff enough for their kindness and care over the years. I have no hesitation in recommending Nether Hall Care Home.
Thank you for your review, it is very much appreciated, it was a pleasure to care for your step mum, such a lovely lady, we will all miss her.
The staff are polite, cheerful and helpful. The home is bright, clean and has a very pleasant outlook. I would not hesitate to recommend it. Thank you to all the family at Netherhall and the hard work they put into caring for our loved ones.
Thank you very much for your review- it is very much appreciated. We are all proud of the home here. It's a great staff team all round.
I just want to say thank you to all the staff at the home. They have kept everyone safe this past year. Good news too that there are new owners and loads more staff in the home. Good luck for the future.
Thank you for your review. We are currently in the process of decorating and refurbishing the home. The staff are working hard to provide all the care and support our residents need.
We are very happy with the care that my father receives at Netherhall and would recommend the home to other families. The staff are very caring, friendly and helpful at all times. We have not had any adverse issues in the two years that my father has been a resident.
On my last visit to Netherhall, I found it much the same as my previous visits, that it is a pleasant place to visit, warm and cozy, and the staff helpful and kind. It also was clean and tidy. I am not able to critique it in any form and should definitely recommend it to anyone seeking similar accommodation.
Very happy with the care my mum is receiving. Was impressed how well the new manager made contact with me on taking up her position at Netherhall. Any concerns I have are dealt with promptly and emails replied by return. All staff are friendly and caring and have been very understanding during this very difficult time of lockdown.
You have an excellent reputation which is why I wanted my aunt to come to you. I travelled from South Wales where I live the day after she was admitted. I have only visited a few times just before the lockdown when I had to come home. The staff that I have met, all seem very friendly and good at what they do. Everywhere seems spotlessly clean and my aunt has a very nice room with a lovely outlook. I speak to my aunt every night on the phone and she has no complaints. Some things I cannot comment on because I have not been able to be there or see what is happening.
