My late mother resided here for the last 12 months of her life, I can wholeheartedly say she was settled and happy from day one, which my siblings and I were very worried she wouldn't settle at all.
All the staff were great with her, immediately making her feel calm and settled and looked after her total wellbeing and making my mother and the other residents one big "family." Aryan the manager, was great with me in making sure any concerns about my mother were addressed in a prompt and in a very professional manner.

I can not recommend Oliver House enough for your loved ones to be well looked after and kept safe and to give a peace of mind for all the family.

I was gutted when I was told my wife of 49 years was too advanced with Dementia she was not able to come home from Hospital.
I couldn't or wouldn't accept this and to say my life was devastated doesn't go anywhere near.
Mary was placed at OLIVER HOUSE and despite reassurances from management of the care she would receive I still couldn't accept it.
To say I wasn't the easiest person to deal with shows how much the management had to put up with.
But they did and as Mary settled I realised how lucky Mary was to have been placed there.
I have used the term management but consider them all now trusted friends caring for the most important person in my life.
The caring team are all individually bringing different things to the table but all to one end to make residents as happy and well cared for as possible.
Beautifully clean rooms, toilets, bathrooms and kitchen. Lots of activities
I know now Mary is receiving the best care available and it was the right decision

Thanks OLIVER HOUSE

From being accepted in Dec 2024 up to losing her in Dec 2025, my mother in law was always treated wtih respect, care and like a valued community/family member of Oliver House. They monitored and asked her opinions and she made good friends with others and staff were considerate. They exercised gently & played games to include & keep her mind and body healthy. Even in illness they were excellent & caring right to the end.

Mum was in Oliver House nursing home for a short stay, I was so pleased with the room, it was lovely, so clean and bright. The entire place was spotless. The staff are amazing, I was very nervous about mum going into a nursing home. But the staff put my mind at rest, their care was above and beyond my expectations. I would and will highly recommend them to anyone needing care for they're loved ones.

My mother has just celebrated her 100th birthday at Oliver house the staff were amazing several coming in on their day off to celebrate with her. Previous to coming here she was a resident at another "care home " where even though they were aware she wandered in the night she fell and broke her hip and never regained her mobility she was left in her room all day and had no supervision at meal time this home had an excellent rating We found Oliver House and although it isn't as salubrious the care she receives is out standing the staff care and the owners aren't just in it to make money. The manager and her team truly care for mum which gives us as her children peace of mind .I honestly cannot recommend highly enough.

My mum has been in this care home for 6 weeks. In this time she has settled well. The home is very clean and functions well. The staff are very friendly and professional. They treat their residence with a lot of care and affection. They are treated with dignity and respect. The staff treat residence like they are a member of their own family. They are quick to recognise signs of illness and act very quickly. They are also open to listening of ways in which they can improve. Today I have none. My mum is well cared for and looked after. Plenty of activities for all. Thank you Oliver House.

Excellent care for my brother who was there for the last few months of his life. He was well taken care of, and staff went above and beyond to provide extras for my brother. The staff, management, and owner were all excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oliver House.

My mother stayed at Oliver House for 2.5. weeks respite, the staff were very caring and empathetic. Mum actually did not want to go back home, but unfortunately, there were not any rooms available.
Mum has asked every day since she came home if she could go back.

This home is very well organised, resident care is excellent. Thank you for caring for my mother.

When we first heard my mum had to go to a care home I was quite upset but Oliver House totally changed my view of what a care home can be. It exceeded my expectations in terms of how she was treated with care and dignity. Management staff and the activity organiser were so welcoming, it became our second home. Our mum was looked after and cared for so well and nothing was too much trouble.

My brother-in-law was moved from hospital to Oliver House in September 2024, he was made very welcome from day 1 the care staff were excellent and always made to fuss of him. The management was always on hand to answer any questions we had.

Our reason for leaving was the distance from home and I was the only driver so having my brother-in-law nearer we will be able to visit more often.

My father went to Oliver House after he came out of hospital. At first, I was very reluctant to let him stay in a home after a horrific experience at another home. But I can honestly say that the way the staff cared for my dad and how they interacted with him has restored my faith in people. He returned home a few months later and it was very emotional for all involved. We shall be using Oliver House again shortly for respite. Do I recommend Oliver House? Most definitely.

Mum hasn't been at Oliver House for long but my first impressions have been positive. Mum has found the transition from being independent to having to have nursing care quite difficult but the staff have managed this very well. They are nice, thoughtful and caring and nothing is too much trouble. They take time to sit and talk with residents and are so professional in their approach. The food must be good too as Mum has put weight on!
