Springbank House Care Home

The staff are all brilliant, so patient and caring with the residents. They have managed the extra workload caused by Covid with cheerfulness and grace. I always feel welcome when I visit my father and know he is in the best hands.

My mother has been in the home for just a month. We are very happy with the standard of care. The food is of a very high standard and my mother is enjoying it.

Stepfather came in for three weeks respite and wasn't well enough to return home. He took to the place straight away and asked if he could stay. He's been here now nearly ten months and he's comfortable and happy. We're happy because he's being looked after very well.

It was my aunties 97th birthday and the staff organised a buffet lunch for her family and friends. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful to us all.

My mother came to Springbank House in 2018 and is extremely happy and settled there. The staff are absolutely terrific - they've gone well beyond the call of duty to build up a great relationship with her and are keen to attend to any special requests. The atmosphere is truly welcoming. I always look forward to my visits!

My mother is happy and I know she is safe. She was no longer safe and happy living on her own. I did all I could. All the staff are very nice.

Residents always seem happy and content. My friend is always clean and tidy, her hair always looks nice! She seems to have gained weight, due to the excellent food to tempt her.

Clean and comfortable room, with a wardrobe, chest of drawers ( in corner cupboard is a wash basin and toilet). Single bed two chairs (one easy) own tv efficient radiator. Room regularly cleaned and visitors are welcome.

Dad often states he would like more regular showers as he showered daily at home.

I would recommend this establishment.

As a professional who has worked with buildings of this type for years, I am aware of the limitations an older property imposes and appreciate the way staff and management do make the best possible use of the facilities they have.

I have been visiting the home now for 18 months and during that time there have occasionally been some issues (one or two still ongoing), having said that the staff and management are always polite and do their best to address the problem. Food is good and plentiful, always a choice if the menu is not to the liking. All in all a home run with good intentions and ideas, it gets a "yes" from me.
