My experience has been good, given the fact that my relative is handicapped.
We are pleased to report that from March 5th, 2018 we have a full-time activity organiser. Thank you for taking the time to write a review.
Our resident is mentally handicapped. She is cared for extremely well. Some of your facilities are not applicable to her so boxes left blank.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review.
A lovely nursing home, all needs met.

My mother has lived at Holly Trees Lodge for the last 10 years. The friendliness, care and loves has been consistent throughout her stay. The warmth in which the staff cared for her has been excellent.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review and for your kind comments which will be passed on to the team.
Holly Tree Lodge is an excellent care home providing excellent care for its residents. Staff are happy in their work and are very caring. They all take the time to get to know the residents which I feel is essential for providing good, appropriate care. They are happy to answer relatives' enquiries and questions, although at first needed some prompting to provide updates. Overall we are very happy with the care provided to our father.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review, all of your comments have been passed on to the team.
My wife was admitted to the home following 5 months in 4 hospitals. She has two brain operations and meningitis. She has found the home to be a blessed relief with wonderful staff who are caring and patient. The food is great and the home is clean and welcoming. The relief to myself is that my wife is happy and safe in Holly Tree Lodge is immense.
Thank you for taking the time to send in this review, I will pass your very kind comments to the team.

Holly Tree Lodge is a wonderful and homely care home, as soon as you walk in the doors there is a lovely and calm atmosphere. The staff are all lovely, kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. They treat my mum with great respect and they have been so welcoming to her and all of her family and friends that visit. I feel so relieved that my mum is at Holly Tree Lodge as I can relax knowing she is getting the best care.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review, your kind comments will be passed onto the team.
My husband was only in Holy Tree Lodge for one week, but was given compassionate, tender loving care before he died. My family and I couldn't have chosen a better place for him to spend his last few days.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review and especially at this very difficult time. Your kind comments will be passed on to the team.
My mother was resident at this home for nearly seven years until her recent death. She was loved and cared for with dignity by all the staff. I consider it to be the best care home she could have gone to in England.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review at such a difficult time, the whole team appreciate your very kind comments.
Having had my Grandma stay at the home for a few years, I feel that she received the best care than other homes I have visited. The staff treated her like a friend, an individual and not just a number. She always had what she wanted/needed. It smelt nice and not bad like other places. Lovely location with a view of the church and trees, it was nice to take my Grandma outside to look at the garden they had. Was a great atmosphere, staff were smiling and nice and friendly.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for your very kind comments.
Holly Tree Lodge home in Scotton has provided excellent care to my grandmother. The emphasis on care has been outstanding and the staff are superb. Knowing that my nan was in good hands and being cared for properly has given me huge comfort over the years during which she has lived at Holly Tree Lodge. The staff treated her with love and respect and genuine compassion for which I will always be grateful.
Thank you for your kind comments, these will be passed to the team.
Mum first went to Holly Tree Lodge for the day care and was a resident for about six weeks before she died in September 2016. As a family, we all think the staff are kind, caring, considerate and give residents as much attention as possible. If a relative has to go into care then Holly Tree Lodge, with its light, spacious and clean rooms in a garden setting, has to be along the better homes. The food is excellent too. All you want is for your loved one to feel secure, be happy and comfortable. Holly Tree Lodge provides that.
Thank you for your positive comments, these will be appreciated by the team.
A very caring, dedicated staff team who always put the welfare of residents and relatives first. The care was person centred. The home is very airy, bright and exceptionally clean. Food is "mouth-watering" and cooked on the premises from fresh ingredients. Residents are always given a choice of menu.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review, it is very much appreciated by the team.
I believe the standards have fallen slightly probably due to the shortage of staff.
It is disappointing to read that you feel our standards have fallen, the Manager will discuss this with you personally at the earliest opportunity.
My mum has now been a resident for approx: 18 months. She is very settled in her surroundings. The staff are very attentive and patient. My mum has all her needs catered for. There is always a good choice of food no matter what time of day or night it is. Prior to being in Holly Tree, my mum was a resident in another care home, I wish we had moved her sooner to Holly Tree. It is how a care home should be.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. Your comments are appreciated and will be passed on to the team.
My sister has been in Holly Tree Lodge for 4 years now after having a stroke. She is unable to speak, eat or move much and has been so well cared for at Holly Tree all this time. She is always beautifully clean at all times and has never had a bed sore or anything. She is now on oxygen all the time which they deal with no problem. We have always been able to visit at anytime and I would recommend Holly Tree Lodge to anyone.
Thank you for your comments which will be passed on to the team.
