Cherrytrees Care Home offers residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 32 adults.

Trained and skilled staff provide the support that concentrates on each resident’s physical and emotional needs while helping them to maintain as much independence as possible. Care is personalised according to each individual’s needs and preferences.

The home features comfortable single bedrooms, two lounges, several bathrooms, a dining area, a beauty salon, a conservatory, and a garden. All communal areas benefit from CCTV. Located in the Salford area of Manchester, the home is yards from a large park and close to local shops.

An activities timetable ensures that there are choices of stimulating and engaging activities for everyone, as well as visiting local groups and entertainers.

Menus at mealtimes offer residents a choice of home-cooked, nutritionally balanced meals that cater to any special dietary requirements. Staff record how much each resident eats to make sure that they are receiving a balanced diet and maintaining a healthy weight.

My experiences have always been positive as I can see how well cared for my Mam is,I cannot fault the staff,
what a brilliant and caring group of people, I loved my recent visit and enjoyed being in the company of the
residents and witnessed the thoughtful stimulation the staff gave to them, it
was just like being amongst a large family.

The care home provides excellent care. My mum has improved so much since she has moved here. The staff treat the residents like they are family. And go above and beyond to care for them. The home is clean and bright and there is such a lovely atmosphere. We couldn't wish for a better place for my mum.

My dad was very smartly dressed with his Christmas jumper on and looking very festive. All staff were lovely and welcoming, always ready with a smile to make sure residents and relatives are happy when in the home. I love coming to visit as my dad is always happy to see us. The atmosphere at the home is lovely, and all the staff are so welcoming. My mum has dementia and they all care for her so brilliantly, making her feel loved and secure all the time. I've had my Uncle here for just over 12 months. I never wanted him in a care home but he lost the use of his legs, so it was the best option for him. In the past 12 months, my Uncle and I have become a part of the Cherrytrees family at least that's how it feels, one big happy family with amazing staff
who know what they're doing my Uncle. He is treated with the utmost respect and lives independently with help from the staff, this was one of the reasons I never wanted him in a care facility but I see now he still lives as if he were still in his own home I can't praise the staff enough and of course the manager who is very open and makes sure everyone is aware if you have a problem no matter how small or big he wants to hear about it. The staff always maintain a polite professional approach to all residents under all circumstances. All visitors are made to feel very welcome.

Continue to be happy with most aspects of the home, however, due to security (which very happy with) it is difficult to leave the home when staff are otherwise engaged. There is no quick way of contacting staff to let you out of the home.

My Uncle came from another care home to Cherrytrees. He was nursed in bed, after a few weeks he settled right in, he looks really well and has gained weight and on occasion, he will get out of bed and interact with other residents. My uncle loves the staff and seems really happy at Cherrytrees and from
my interactions with all the staff from the manager to the domestics are friendly and the home itself has a good atmosphere, a home from home for all residents. Thank you Cherrytrees.

My Mum arrived at Cherrytrees Care Home in July 2023 and during that time the care has been brilliant. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the residents are happy and feel safe. My mum has come on leaps and bounds during her time at Cherrytrees, I would highly recommend.

My dad spent two weeks at Cherrytrees post-hospital stay. Staff at all levels were very welcoming, approachable and friendly. Advice and guidance were given to all family members. Care and support given to my dad were excellent - nothing was too much trouble.

Staff always very welcoming. Staff always show a caring attitude toward residents. Staff always have time for a chat with residents and visitors.

I am welcomed by friendly staff when I visit my wife, nothing is too much trouble. The home is clean and welcoming, my wife has a lovely room and is very well looked after and I am happy to have her here.

Dad was only at Cherrytrees Care Home for three weeks, having been sent there for ongoing care after a month-long stay in hospital. Sadly, Dad was at the end of life due to dementia and vascular disease but in the short time he was there he was given exemplary personal care by the staff and the staff
nurse was very helpful in organising ambulance transport for a hospital appointment and making arrangements swiftly after Dad's death. Thank you to all the team for their care and kindness.

Our brother was a resident at Cherrytrees Care Home for almost four years. He had suffered a series of strokes that had taken away his mobility and speech. Cherrytrees became his home, where he experienced true caring, love and respect. After a visit with my brother, we would leave knowing that he was

Covid made visiting hard for everyone. The managers made it as easy as they could by allowing us to take my dog to visit my father-in-law. This made our visits much more pleasant and easy as he loved our dog. At first, the father-in-law made it difficult for the staff by being demanding and sometimes
unreasonable however, all the nursing staff stuck with it and brought him round. After a few weeks, the manager and the staff made all the difference and although he didn’t want to be there they made it easy for him. The care and attention shown by all the staff was exceptional and the visits were always supported with help, information, updates and they were always welcoming. All in all, I would highly recommend this nursing home. My father-in-law eventually died and again they were exceptional at the end in the way they cared for him. The managers came to the funeral and we thought how caring and thoughtful that was of them. Can’t thank them enough!

Good overall standards with lots of care and support from staff members. My wife has been treated with dignity and 100% care since being in Cherrytrees Care Home. She is bedbound at the moment therefore, can't do any activities but the staff are very kind and feed her three times a day, drinks included.
An excellent place to spend her remaining hours.

The manager and staff are professional, friendly, helpful and caring people. Since his arrival, the manager has made improvements to some of the rooms, e.g. flooring has been changed and ceiling tiles replaced, though there is still more to be done. Overall, rooms are kept very clean and tidy. The garden
needs improvement though.
Our brother is very settled and happy, he likes the food and loves the pudding. He is very happy with his care at Cherrytrees Care Home.
