Cherrytrees Care Home

The admin/office staff are very professional, and the carers and nurses are friendly with my mother and also to visitors such as myself.

Rooms pleasant & clean but rather on small side. Staff pleasant & helpful to visitors. Seem very caring to residents. Spend time with residents/patients & take time to understand their personalities. Some need to explain more what they are doing so patients, (especially those w. dementia) are not shocked/surprised to be moved etc. V. good efforts made to provide activities & to engage patient with them & to foster a community & caring atmosphere & sense of humour

When my son and myself visited Cherrytree Home before my husband was amitted there, we liked it. He is still in the home 3½ years later great care and support for him thank you.

My wife has been a resident @ cherry trees, since 2014. After a few issues early on in her residency the treatment & care has been excellent. The staff are very attentive & nothing is to much trouble. Having said this I am very happy to let my wife stay in this good & warm environment

The Weekend staff I see regularly are always so welcoming and are always interacting with my nanna! It was hard for us to put her in a home but with this home being around the corner it is easier for us to see her and we know she's in good hands! If there has been any issues in the past they have been dealt with professionally! I Can't thank you enough for all the long hours you do away from your own family to look after my family! All of the staff - carers, management, admin, catering, maintenance, activities coordinator are exceptional. They all care for the residents as if they are members of their own family, and there is a caring, warm, family atmosphere throughout the whole of the home. My mum, who has dementia, clearly feels loved, safe and secure. The activities at the home are amazing and the food is excellent.We are always made to feel so welcome when we visit. We couldn't wish for a better place for my mum to live.

Well what can I say it's been another year of being a part of the CherryTrees family. The carers go above and beyond to make sure the needs of my uncle are met in a timely respectful professional approach I never wanted my uncle, to reside in a care home as I always worried he'd feel his independence was gone. This is not the case he's treated with the upmost respect by all staff members. Not only are the care needs of the residents met all visitors are taken care of to I often joke with staff I'm booking myself in for a few weeks. The Manager, and Senior Care Manager are always very vocal with family of residents ensuring we know if anything no matter how little or big is bothering us we must speak to them about it and appropriate action would be taken if needed. I'm a little sad 2 members of staff have left this year for new ventures but, we wish them well with their future/current employers. They are going to be so lucky to have them

I can't speak too highly of this wonderful care home. My mother has lived here for 2 years and the care couldn't be better. The staff and management are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. They treat my mother like their own family. They understand her needs perfectly. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. The communication with the family and inclusion can't be faulted. The residents are very happy here, there are lots of activities and parties arranged. Everybody is really friendly and helpful. My mother is always treated with respect and warmth. I feel she is very safe and secure here.

Looking after my Nana & making sure she's in good hands highly recommended they make sure they go out of the way to make her feel at home all the staff are lovely & go out of there way to make sure everything is ok

Very professional. The staff are very friendly. The resident looked after with care.

My dad was very smartly dressed with his Christmas jumper on and looking very festive. All staff were lovely and welcoming, always ready with a smile to make sure residents and relatives are happy when in the home. I love coming to visit as my dad is always happy to see us. I've never seen a more dedicated team of staff well done to them all.

I'm very grateful for the loving and dedicated care my grandmother receives at this care home. The team has made her feel very settled, and a special member of staff in particular, who consistently goes above and beyond with her kindness and compassion. The warm and welcoming atmosphere gives me great peace of mind. Highly recommend.

Continue to be happy with most aspects of the home, however, due to security (which very happy with) it is difficult to leave the home when staff are otherwise engaged. There is no quick way of contacting staff to let you out of the home.

My Uncle came from another care home to Cherrytrees. He was nursed in bed, after a few weeks he settled right in, he looks really well and has gained weight and on occasion, he will get out of bed and interact with other residents. My uncle loves the staff and seems really happy at Cherrytrees and from my interactions with all the staff from the manager to the domestics are friendly and the home itself has a good atmosphere, a home from home for all residents. Thank you Cherrytrees.

My Mum arrived at Cherrytrees Care Home in July 2023 and during that time the care has been brilliant. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the residents are happy and feel safe. My mum has come on leaps and bounds during her time at Cherrytrees, I would highly recommend.

My dad spent two weeks at Cherrytrees post-hospital stay. Staff at all levels were very welcoming, approachable and friendly. Advice and guidance were given to all family members. Care and support given to my dad were excellent - nothing was too much trouble.

Staff always take on board any issues raised and try and sort them in a timely fashion.

Dad was only at Cherrytrees Care Home for three weeks, having been sent there for ongoing care after a month-long stay in hospital. Sadly, Dad was at the end of life due to dementia and vascular disease but in the short time he was there he was given exemplary personal care by the staff and the staff nurse was very helpful in organising ambulance transport for a hospital appointment and making arrangements swiftly after Dad's death. Thank you to all the team for their care and kindness.
