Excellent person centered care is provided to my dad at all times. My dad has lived at Cavell Manor for 3 years and the staff go above and beyond to look after the residents. The nurses are always available when needed and I am always involved in care reviews.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, are always able to give any updates required regarding my parent's care. Regular phone calls are received regarding care plan and we are encouraged to bring up any needs and ask any questions regarding the care in place. My parent is encouraged to join regular activities, and staff make sure to find out favourite pastimes so these can be included. The care is carried out with quiet efficiency, a chat and a smile.

All the staff in orchid care home are so caring with the residents and the visitors. Everyone speaks to you and nothing is to much for them to help.this is the best care home I have seen .I used this home when it first opened for my mother some 15yrs ago and now again for my husbands alzimers. Excellent

My husband has been in orchid for 2.5 years now and the care given by all staff is exceptional - the staff are so cheerful it helps me too. The home is very clean & tidy and the recent refurbishments have made it look very fresh. The nursing staff are very proactive and instantly responsive in an emergency. Although my husband cannot join in some activities because of his illness he can enjoy music and the activity team organise bands & singers to perform on a regular basis . A wonderful home

Orchid are great. They're really looking after my dad well and the team always have time to chat through any worries or concerns you have. It's clean, calm, and homely, and you can sense that all the staff really care. We visited a couple of homes before choosing orchid and whilst it's not cheapest, it's definitely the best around.

My aunt, age 70, has been ill in hospital and needed somewhere to convalesce for a week or two. From start to end the staff were amazing. So helpful and well informed. Everything was made easy for me to arrange and the nursing care together with admin was faultless. The atmosphere there are Cavell Manor is wonderful. Most caring and professional. I would highly recommend it!

They have looked after him and his needs since he went in and I nothing bad to say about the place

Lynsey and staffs at Newlands are always welcoming. I've been a visitor for some time and always observe them to be warm and attentive to all the residents. The whole team work really well together. Well done Newlands and thank you for all the hard work you do.

My husband & I visit a resident every month and every time has always been clean, good rooms, friendly staff, good security, pretty well kept gardens

I am very comfortable + well cared for. I am very contented, Mabbs Hall is a very pleasant place to live + I feel very fortunate to be looked after so well at my age (97)

The admin/office staff are very professional, and the carers and nurses are friendly with my mother and also to visitors such as myself.

I am very contented and settled here at Mabbs Hall, the staff are very kind and caring. I am being very well cared for. The food is good and I enjoy the company and activities on offer.

Mum has been a resident for several months and is extremely happy at the home. The professionalism, kindness and friendliness shown by every single member of staff is exceptional, she truly feels at home. There are lots of different activities on offer and she enjoys so many them. It's wonderful to see how much enjoyment she gets from being in the home and how safe and respected she feels, this brings such reassurance to us as a family. Anytime we visit we feel welcomed too. I have given facilities 4 stars as one of the bathrooms tap and flush system a bit wobbly could do with fixing or modernising but it's not a negative just a suggestion to make the home just that little bit more nicer and facilities a bit easier to use.

My husband has been here since the 9th June. I have to say that from his first day the home and every one who works have been amazing in every way. They are kind and considerate. The care is out standing they all of them are friendly. They treat my husband with dignity. Our family are treated the same. When the carers come in my husband smiles after they have gone he say's to me they are lovely. It makes us feel at peace and happy that he is in the care of people who really care.

Mum has been a resident for many years and she is very happy; continually telling me how lovely all the staff/carers are and she really enjoys the activities & food. The management team are exceptionally knowledgeable, understanding, empathic, and not only have a listening ear when raising any minor concerns, but they do resolve very quickly. I have recommended the home to friends who's parents are also needing dementia care and will continue to do so, without hesitation.

Rooms pleasant & clean but rather on small side. Staff pleasant & helpful to visitors. Seem very caring to residents. Spend time with residents/patients & take time to understand their personalities. Some need to explain more what they are doing so patients, (especially those w. dementia) are not shocked/surprised to be moved etc. V. good efforts made to provide activities & to engage patient with them & to foster a community & caring atmosphere & sense of humour

When my son and myself visited Cherrytree Home before my husband was amitted there, we liked it. He is still in the home 3½ years later great care and support for him thank you.

Mum is well looked after in all respects. All the staff are so welcoming and always cheerful. They all know how mum is each day when I visit. I like to make a cup of tea for her and sit somewhere quiet for a chat. Mum tells me she is happy and feels safe.
