Set in the market town of Woodbridge, Cavell Manor Care Home offers a home from home experience with 55 rooms for residents, each with en-suite facilities and a TV point. Each room has modern décor, and residents are welcome to furnish their rooms if preferred.

The home is bright and spacious, there are multiple lounges for relaxation and socialising, and multiple dining areas where residents can enjoy their meals. There is also a separate family dining room for residents to use.

My sister-in-law is really well looked after here. She is included in the activities and functions when she wants to. The staff are always popping in to have a chat and check that she is comfortable and has everything that she needs. Nothing is too much trouble for them here.

I have a friend in Cavell who I have visited for a while so I wanted my aunti to come to Cavell Manor. After a month I knew I had chosen the right home for her. They are so wonderful with her. They love her cheeky ways which she responds to. They organise so many things which she regularly takes part.
I am so happy that she is doing so well. I am truly thankful.

I cannot tell you how good it feels that I can go away on holiday knowing that dad is in good hands, no matter what he needs. The home is an absolute delight to come into every time. It is homely and friendly and so lovely and clean.

Our family cannot fault Cavell Manor, the staff and environment are exceptional. Residents are cared for with amazing respect and compassion, and I felt that we were too when we visited. There is an inclusive varied range of planned activities which take place daily, and this is very much appreciated

Mum was part of a loving, caring family at Cavell Manor. The staff were extremely kind and hard working and gave professional nursing care when required. Residents are given every opportunity to suggest and engage in organised activities daily. Family members were always made welcome to visit and join

When you walk into Cavell Manor there is a lovely friendly atmosphere. All the staff are so helpful and caring, nothing is too much trouble. My husband only spent a week there but I would not of wished him to spend his last week anywhere else.

Cavell Manor Care Home was a welcoming building with a nice atmosphere. The staff were always friendly and had time to make you feel welcome. Mum's care was excellent, she entered the home from hospital for palliative care but in the time she was there, the care provided was so beneficial she was moved
from palliative to normal care. The nursing staff and all the care team were fabulous, they always had time to talk to Mum or the family and we were always kept fully informed of Mum's condition. Nothing was ever too much trouble and although Mum's never wanted to go into care, she loved being at Cavell and called it home.

My mother has been a resident at Covell Manor since 30th November 2023. She has received the most wonderful kindness, patience, empathy and care from the day she arrived. Everyone of the staff has been outstanding in their role within the home. I am so grateful, not only for the care my mother has received
but also for the care I have received from the staff whilst going through a very difficult time. Thank you does not in the least show my deepest gratitude.

Outstanding in every respect. The key feature of this home is the staff, led by the irrepressible manager with her cheerful good humour. They provide excellent care for my wife and without exception are unfailingly kind and welcoming to me when I visit.

I visited my Dad today who is there for end-of-life care.
I went in with a heavy heart but came away comforted by the wonderful care he is being given. He looked so much better than I expected. Clean and dressed and sitting in a chair. The staff could not have been more accommodating with my questions.
I
am a carer and worked in a number of care homes but my goodness. This is the best I have seen. I'm so glad my Dad is there. Thank you to all the staff for caring.

Our Mum was in this home for the last 6 months of her life. The care she received was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for the carers and nursing staff. Not only were they caring for Mum but with us also, making everything as nice as possible and caring toward us when she passed away.

My wife (who has dementia) has only been in Cavell Manor Care Home for seven weeks and despite my worries about her going into care, I can only say that the care she has received is second to none. A team of recreation staff provide residents with daily activities, including handicrafts and outings,
and all the staff and nurses are always happy and caring to residents, creating a lovely atmosphere.
The manager has amassed a truly wonderful staff.
