My father has been a resident since July 2023. Always received constant care and attention. Recently moved rooms to be on ground floor, nearer office to be kept an eye on, due to him wandering away from his room. Medical updates and phone calls to inform the family always.
My. Mum came here in Jan 2026, she was going very with drawn, but since she has been in Simonsfield she has gone back to her old self, made lost of new friends there ,me and my family are so happy and can sleep at night knowing that my mum is getting looked after. The staff are amazing they are the right people in the right job as it takes a special type of person. Activities they are great Suzanne is amazing, am looking at social media and can see my mum enjoying herself, going out for meals dancing getting facials and doing excerisers and arts and crafts, she would never be doing the likes if this, i can't thanks Everyone enough, great place xx
She passed away recently, in her room at the care home. The staff there gave her the most dignified and peaceful end of life care possible. In her last few years at Simonsfield she had the best life she could possibly have. We owe the staff a debt we cannot possibly re-pay. Thank you.
The Staff also look after the relatives of Residents with regular updates on care, appointments etc.
and have a way of cheering up relatives who may be adapting to having a family Member moving to the Home.
My Dad has been living at Simonsfield for over 2 years now and would not be here now without the expert care and dedication of the hardworking Staff who all have a great sense of humour.
Thank you for your valued feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will ensure that this is shared with the staffing team at Simonsfield
The staff here are outstanding. They are warm, friendly, supportive and always willing to help.
Everyone is treated with respect and receives the personal touch and attention they need.
I would recommend Simonsfield to anyone who is considering a care home for their loved ones.
Thank you to everyone.

Simonsfield is amazing, yes it's not perfect but it's very close. My mum is thriving. The activities they do are brilliant, theatre visits, meals out, going the pub, exercises, games, entertainment, the list honestly goes on. I cannot recommend this home enough. My mum is safe, looked after, well fed and all her medical needs are met. The staff are lovely, always gave a smile and are so caring with the residents. I love this place x

Nice to see the activities they do with all the residents and being able to see on social media means I can still see him even when I don't visit. I feel I can relax knowing he is well looked after as he always seems contented.
They also have lots of parties, his social life is better than mine .. haha!
It was a big decision having to move Dad into residential care but probably one of the best we have made as a family.
Thank you for your valued feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will ensure that this is shared with the staffing team at Simonsfield .
Absolutely brilliant place, my mum is well cared for, great staff, Mum loves them, very caring, management are great, nothing is a bother. Always a warm welcome off all the staff. Lovely and clean. Mum has been great.

The residents have recreation, entertainment, fun, celebrating every event, such as Valentine's Day, creating hearts, cards and homemade decorations. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
The staff all work extremely hard, and they are all very caring when looking after the residents. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, and they notice straight away if Mum isn’t herself and are straight on to dealing with the problem.
We are always kept informed of any changes due to Covid or anything else that affects Mum or our visits.
The care home manager often gets in touch regarding Mum and is always available should we want to discuss anything. She is very approachable and professional, and this can be said of her staff and the office manager.
We couldn’t wish for a better care home for Mum, and she is happy there, which is most important.
Most of the staff have been there for a long time, and I think this speaks volumes.
First-rate care home, with first-rate staff, right across the board.
Sincere thanks from us.
I have been staying in Simonsfield for respite, and I think that the home is lovely. The staff are really nice to me and have made my stay very comfortable. I have had a really long stay and would come here again.
The staff have been supportive this past year with my mum. Lately, they have been working above and beyond as many of residents have lately come down with Covid, also the staff. And yet again they always make you feel positive, I feel so relieved that my mum is their care and I appreciate every single carer, reception and management.
I would just like to say that the staff were amazing, as well as taking care of my mum and tending to her every need during her last few days they also looked after myself and my daughter.
The manager and all her staff are a credit to the care sector and I would highly recommend Simonsfield to anyone looking for care for their loved ones.
The home is spotlessly clean and welcoming, they tend to everyone’s taste in food and snacks.
Keep up the good work and thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of my Mum.
My nan loved it here and had lots of friends and workers to make her feel happy well looked after. I'll cherish the staff who cared for my nan in my heart and memory, and if I ever win lots of money, I'll be donating a large sum to the nurses. Thank you so much for looking after my nan.
My dad stayed here for about two years. We cannot praise the manager and her staff for the kindness and attention they gave to my dad enough. The care place was spotless and the food always looked appetizing. I would highly recommend this care place.
From first going there in February 2016, my sister-in-law has been treated with kindness and consideration by all staff members. They helped make her last a few years happy.
Of all the propaganda from the media regarding care homes, Simonsfield is by far the best.
Made very welcome there each time I go there. All the staff are great and all the residents are well cared for. If I had to go into a care home I would like to be put in there.
I cannot rate the home highly enough and would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone needing care.

Meet the Team (1)

My journey into the Care Industry started in 1998, 20 years ago. I first started in the NHS and then my journey took me into Elderly Care in 2000, I felt like I had found my vocation and I was promoted to Deputy Manager of a care home in 2004, on this journey I realised that in this profession I was able to make a difference in peoples lives, which is what drove me.
I then went on to become Home Manager at Simonsfield in 2008, 10 years ago, a job that I love and I know every day that I’ve made a difference in people's lives. In my capacity as Home Manager at Simonsfield, I strive to ensure that the residents receive the highest standard of care possible, I feel one of the best ways this is possible, is to ensure that staff feel supported and are allowed to expand to the best of their ability in their role, this includes staff training and moral support.
Simonsfield is not just a Care Home, it’s a home from home, with both residents and staff feeling cared for, happy and content. Our staff are very happy in their roles and this is reflected in the care our residents receive daily.
