Argyle Park delivers the very best of dementia residential care. The home is a purpose-built, three-storey building close to Hesketh Park and Southport town centre. Each of their residents receives kind and caring person-centred specialist dementia care.

The home cares for 31 residents and all rooms, which have been professionally decorated, benefit from en-suite facilities.

The experienced and well-trained care team supports residents to live well with all memory and personal care issues supported.

Residents enjoy a varied and tasty menu in the newly constructed conservatory dining room. Residents' choices and preferences are accounted for in the planning of the weekly menus, to ensures that everyone eats well and enjoys their favourite choices.

Daily activities are engaging and fun to ensure that residents have happy days and the opportunity to spend time with others.

My mother is very happy here. She enjoys the activities and has a lovely relationship with the carers. The manager is fantastic. She has helped me through some very stressful situations and goes above and beyond in everything she does. I can thoroughly recommend Argyle Park.

After trying several places to accommodate my wife who has Alzheimer's was lucky to find a place for her at Argyle where she is now settled I find all the staff here are wonderful and really take care of her in every way which makes life a little easier for me as I was her full-time carer and we are
both in our 80s. God bless you all at Argyle.

My Dad has been a resident since March. He is very happy in the home and the staff are all so kind and caring to him. It feels such a relief knowing he is safe and that they care about him so much. I can see how genuine they all are and feel really blessed we found such an amazing place for him. It
was so difficult having to put him into care but this is alleviated by how wonderful Argyle Park staff are.

I found the home very good. Always clean, nice, excellent staff, caring, well-trained. The managing staff always helpful and kind to me. My husband is always clean and well-presented. He has not been the easiest resident they have had, however, they have managed him very well.

I moved my Mum to this care facility as her dementia accelerated in late Summer. The facilities are good and homely. The staff and management are very caring and empathetic. A recent outbreak of chest infections has been dealt with excellently. Working in conjunction with NHS personnel the infection
has been controlled, and residents helped with recovery. The emphasis is always on the needs and welfare of the residents, and managers and staff continue to communicate well with families and relatives. What impressed me was that residents are treated as friends by the carers, who go the second mile
in their support. Nothing is too much trouble and they have tremendous patience. We are very grateful for all the care and support for our loved one at Argyle Park.

My mum had to go into emergency respite care at Argyle Park in March. It was a worrying time, especially as I live 300 miles away. My mum has been in the home for about 3 weeks now and has settled really well, thanks to the care and support from all the staff. Initially, my mum was distressed and confused
about leaving her normal surroundings and I worried that she wouldn't cope well being in a home. However, every time I've spoken to her she has talked enthusiastically about the meals, the activities, and especially the staff. I can honestly say my mum is thriving now that she is being well taken of by people who understand dementia. What has been really helpful is that the same people answer the phone each time I phone, including the Manager, so you're able to build a relationship and they obviously know my mum too. This has been so important as I'm not able to visit often. I would highly recommend Argyle Park to anyone having to make a difficult decision on care.

My dad moved in 6 months ago and has settled in very well. Every time I go he is well dressed and his room is spotless. The staff are amazing and have lots of patience for all of the residents. Now covid restrictions have lifted, it's lovely to be able to call up and say I'd like to pick him up and
he's ready and waiting when I get there.

My mum has been here for the last 3 weeks and the level of care she has received has been second to none. She loves it here and it’s such a peace of mind knowing she’s happy and looked after so well. The staff are all so friendly and go over and above to make sure everyone is cared for to a high standard
and always on hand to answer any queries. The communal area is great and her room is clean, airy and bright, and like a home from home. It really is 5-star care and I couldn’t be happier knowing she is staying here.

Fab care home with lovely staff. They have such patience and can’t do enough for mum and us. Mum was in a lovely upstairs room and after their recommendations, we moved her downstairs. We would recommend this home and all its staff to anyone.

My mum is currently in the care home awaiting to go home on a care package after being released from hospital. The staff have been lovely and made her very welcome

My father-in-law has settled really well into the home. The care is amazing. He is well fed and looked after. The home is clean and his dementia care is well catered for. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Always felt that the staff genuinely care about my mum, which brings huge peace of mind to all of us. Mum seems really settled here, is encouraged to join in with activities, and is a busy, friendly place with all the staff happy and attentive. It’s a huge decision to agree to long-term care for your
parent but we feel that both mum and ourselves have found a gem in this home. Mum has recently had various medical complications and has unfortunately spent some time in hospital. I was immediately informed of the situation and was contacted regularly to enquire as to how she was doing. All the staff are very helpful and caring towards the residents, the home is very clean, bright, and happy. Afternoon tea with homemade cakes is probably my mum's favourite time of the day!

Mum seems happy and settled and all her needs are attended to daily. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Mum's room always looks neat and tidy as does mum. We as a family are very pleased with the care mum has received especially after her having a fall and breaking her hip, after 4 weeks in
hospital she was welcomed back to the Argyle.

My grandad has been a resident at Argyle Park for 4 weeks now. The difference between Argyle Park and his previous home is unbelievable. I wish he'd moved there years ago. First impressions are how clean, bright, and welcoming it is. Staff are outstanding! Every single one of them. Nothing is too much
trouble and they all seem to have a special bond with the residents. My grandad is settling in nicely. He's very impressed with the food and likes that he now has his own bathroom. He's always clean and well cared for and is encouraged to join in with activities. Although moving him was a worry. As a family, we are happy and reassured that his needs are now being met and just so glad we found such a fantastic care home.

During lockdown, the home has made great efforts to keep us in touch with Mum, who has been understandably upset that we have not been able to visit her during this time. They arrange regular online meetings for us with mum and fortnightly online meetings to update us on what is going on in the home.
I have probably had more contact with Mum during this time than usual as we live far away. Their friendliness and care and patience for Mum and us has been very much appreciated.

This nursing home is amazing. The quality of the staff and home is second to none. The exceptional care and empathy shown by every member of staff towards all residents is the greatest thing to witnesses. When I visit my family I am spoken to with respect and feels like being part of a big family. These
places do not get enough praise from people. Argyle Park is 5 star.

My mum has been a resident at Argyle Park for two and a half year and is happy there. She has a nice room and is well looked after. The staff are lovely and very kind. There is a nice friendly atmosphere about the home, and the lounge is bright and airy. Visiting is not allowed at the moment due to
Government advice, but I am given regular updates about Mum and am able to speak to her by computer video calls and phone.
