Overall Experience

My mum has been at Tudor Bank for over 12 months. Prior to this she spent three weeks at a very expensive dementia care home in Chester where she had fallen six times, her anxiety levels increased and the level of care was well below expectations of what would be perceived from a £8500 a month care home. They said "we don't deal with the type of dementia your mum has." Since being at Tudor Bank, her meds have been stabilised and staff are so attentive to her needs, they are by her side at all times. It's a warm, friendly community and I'm completely reassured that she is being looked after 24/7. She loves dancing and has the opportunity to have a little boogie on Fridays, calling her dancing queen! I couldn't wish for a kinder, safer place for my mum. Thank you to all the staff at Tudor Bank x

Would you please pass on my sincere thanks to everyone involved in my mum's care. I would especially like to acknowledge the excellent and proactive management, the spotless cleanliness of her room, the quality of the food, the kindness and dedication of the carers, the support and friendliness of the admin staff, and the kindness and support that has also been shown to me.
Since her arrival, the change in Mum has been remarkable. Even just looking at her, she is a different person so happy, relaxed, and comfortable and that is entirely down to the wonderful work of your whole team. It is genuinely appreciated by both of us, and Mum would tell you the same herself if she were able to.

The care she is receiving now is in stark contrast to what she experienced previously, and it is very clear to me that your team truly cares. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved.

My mother was a resident at Tudor Bank for almost 3 years. She was very content and made to feel loved and cherished by all the staff. The care she received was fabulous. The carers were sensitive and always enabled mum to maintain a high level of dignity. My father visited mum every day, and the staff also treated him with respect and fondness. He will miss seeing the lovely staff - but we are grateful for the care mum received.

My aunt was a resident in Tudor Bank for the last few years of her life. She was very well looked after, and I must particularly comment on the fantastic care and support they gave to her husband who visited daily. Whenever I visited the staff were always cheerful, friendly and helpful.

This is my mothers thired care home. Previous homes have proved unable to meet her complex needs. Tudor Bank have been successful. This due to the skill and professionalism of the staff throughout Tudor Bank. Care, compassion and understanding together with the sound, practical application of medical requirements.

My wife has resided in Tudor Bank Nursing Home for 12 weeks, following a six month hospital stay. Her transition was significantly aided by an initial a two week one-to-one period. The main strength of Tudor Bank is the quality of support provided by the staff and the atmosphere they create both amongst the residents and themselves. The attention given to all medical matters by the professional and management staff is excellent.

Overall Experience
Management and Staff at Tudor Bank are providing excellent care and support to my husband and myself, through a really difficult time. During the last couple of years we have gone from one crisis to another, with numerous changes to medications, admissions to hospital, 3 sections and 2 care homes.

In the short period of time my husband has been at Tudor Bank, they have managed to identify strategies of support (not just through the use of medication) to enable my husband, to have some peace and calm in himself, instead of the severe agitation he has constantly suffered due to Alzheimer's/dementia. Myself and my family feel so relieved to have found a home, with staff that are genuinely caring, kind and treat my husband with such dignity. We know there will still be ups and downs but we are reassured that now we have the support of Tudor Bank we will be able to enjoy some good times with my husband, and also in the knowledge he is well cared for and safe when we are not there.

I have looked at many nursing homes and Tudor Park stands out for the excellent quality of care for my mum. There are so many members of staff available to take care of residents who are very supportive and caring towards residents. The place is clean, homely and welcoming at all times, with no restriction on visits/or times and they encourage family at dinner time as residents eat better. The nurses keep me updated with mum's very fast decline with Vascular Dementia and I know she is safe and well looked after. Excellent home.

The guilt that I felt when I was told that I had to find an EMI nursing home for Mum consumed me and honestly, that never left me. She had spent the previous six months in mental health hospitals and during that time had numerous general hospital admissions in regard to her physical health conditions, in which a few of them were life-threatening.
I looked at several homes for her but nothing compared to what Tudor Bank Nursing Home had to offer and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. My mum was treated as “one of the family". She had the best life that could be offered and when she was well enough, she was taken out to numerous places that the staff knew she would enjoy.
The team there are supportive, professional, efficient and compassionate and empathetic and I cannot praise them enough for all they have done.

I can completely see why they won care home of the year and I thank you for everything from the bottom of my heart.

Our dad was a resident at Tudor Bank Nursing Home, he sadly passed on the 13th September after 4 years of being a resident there. My sister and myself would like to say a few words about the care and attention he received and especially in the final few days before he died.

Dad was always happy, treated with dignity and respect and as an individual. Our dad had Alzheimer's Disease, his needs always met. Every single member of staff was so professional in their roles. The emotional support shown to myself and sister in Dad's final days was a comfort to us both. Thank you Tudor Bank.

My sister showed me her lovely bedroom, then we went out into the garden, she was very chatty and happy here. She's very excited about going to Blackpool for a four-day holiday. We came back into the lounge and talked about the family. She is looking forward to having her lunch. The staff are lovely and very helpful and friendly here.
