My mother (96) is reasonably happy. As she does not really join in much she can get a little depressed. The staff treat her well and try to encourage her. After a past stroke she does not have the use of her right hand and needs help with food. I have asked about support for her head when she falls
asleep in her wheelchair, her head falls right back, so uncomfortable looking. Poor hearing.

All staff pleasant and cheerful, nothing too much trouble. Food good quality. Since my mother has been at Riversdale Home 4 1/2 years, have had no complaints regarding her care. At present there appears to be no activities.

I like that staff members are sat with the residents and that residents are not alone in the lounge area, staff seem very friendly towards residents and visitors. I like when I leave my aunty is not anxious. Lots of activities for residents to do my aunty seems to enjoy the food.

My brother came into Barton Brook after discharge from hospital for assessment. I have found all the staff friendly and helpful.
My brother has recovered well, looks healthy and happy. They have looked after him well.

Mum's home for the last 4 years was at Berwick House and the staff truly were her extended family. Sadly Mum has died due to her dementia but the care and love she received at Berwick was simply amazing and now gives us immense comfort. It is the hardest decision to make when your parent needs the care
you can no longer provide but the love and care we as a family, not just Mum, experienced was exceptional and I thank everyone for that.

Mum was a resident at Saltshouse Haven for around 5 years. During her time there, the care provided was exceptional. We were kept up to date with anything relating to mum at their earliest opportunity. Alongside her care package the unit had an entertainment team and I have to say they were just brilliant
too. The residents were kept amused with activities and entertainment daily. Overall 100% happy with mums care- thank you all.

My father seems really comfortable at Riversdale and has made a lovely new friend. The staff are very welcoming to relatives, and I feel that he is safe here. The food looks lovely, and he is well cared for. I am really glad and grateful that he got a place at Riversdale.

I have called to see my partner, and on every occasion, I have found all of the staff very friendly and helpful. They put our family at peace knowing Liz is safe and well fed. Highly recommend Riversdale to anyone looking for a home.

I cannot fault the staff and the care they give to my brother. He has complex, and they accommodate these with kind gestures and good cheer. He is happy in their care, and this is the most important thing.
My only criticism is the outdoor space - it could all be so lovely with the large spaces, and
room for plantings. There is usually a lot of rubbish about, and it looks uncared for.
The inside, however, is always clean and attractive

Mum has been in Courtfield Lodge since July 2025. Overall the care is excellent and she settled really quickly. The rooms are nice, maybe needs painting walls etc. The staff are so nice & kind both carers & admin. Very quick to contact you if there is a problem. I would highly recommend Courtfield Lodge.

Overall we find Courtfield Lodge a good home. Reception is very helpful. Senior management 1 & 2 are approachable & listen & respect the points being made. My mum is happy & well cared for. The carers always seem attentive & efficient. In my opinion it would be helpful if there were more cleaning staff
although the home has improved! Mum is happy with her meals although more variety would be helpful.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, even remembering family members' names. The activities are extremely good, although a few more may be beneficial, especially at weekends. It's lovely to see how patient and understanding the staff are towards the people they care for, and knowing all their likes/quirks.
