Mahogany Care Home

In my opinion, Mahogany provides fantastic, high-quality care, and I'm very happy with the support my friend receives

Mum has settled in really well & this has been helped by the very caring, friendly approach of all the staff. As a visitor I'm always made to feel very welcome. Mum is very well cared for & the staff are very supportive in ensuring that all her needs are met. I'm kept informed of any changes with regards to mum's medical support. The social interaction has helped reduce mum's feelings of loneliness & there is always someone on hand if mum needs anything.

The home is very good. Mum is settled and seems happier every time we see her. Mum loves the activities available and loves to laugh and joke with everyone especially Shirley. As a family we are very happy with the care mum is receiving.

My wife has been at Mahogany for almost 4 years and throughout I have had confidence in the care provided. She is immobile and needs assistance with food and drink and, thus far, the staff have patiently provided for her. Everyone in the home has time to say 'hello' to my wife in an effort to make her feel comfortable. The medical staff are attentive and always willing to pick up on any expressed concerns... I continue to be grateful for the care and consideration given to my wife during these very testing times

My Mum has been in Mahogony for nearly 2yrs now. We as a family have found her health as improved, she is settled and happy and made friends. The staff are caring and she seems to like them all. They have a great activity team, the singer is fantastic and interacts with the residents. All staff I have found are very friendly. Any concerns can be raised and will be acted upon.

My mum has lived there since the end of March and I can't praise the staff enough. My mum is happy and so are we.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, even remembering family members' names. The activities are extremely good, although a few more may be beneficial, especially at weekends. It's lovely to see how patient and understanding the staff are towards the people they care for, and knowing all their likes/quirks.

I had concerns about the care of my husband who is difficult and often refuses to co-operate. I arranged a meeting with the manager, my concerns were taken seriously, and I am very impressed how my concerns have been managed and acted upon.

We were so pleased to have used Mohogany Care Home. They quickly accommodated my Mother-in law. She was very happy and settled in well even though she was bedridden. Staff had listened carefully to her stories and could name her frequent visitors. We wanted to spend as much time as possible with her and visited anytime. We were offered drinks and food. Staff regularly checked on her and made her as comfortable as possible.When were weren't there we got important phone calls about her health.

My dad only spent a couple of weeks at Mahogany due to being end of life. During his short stay, he was treated with dignity and respect. There was always a warm welcome when entering Mahogany and all staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. The nursing care was very good and the nurses showed compassion and made time to speak to us when we had any questions or concerns.

My mother-in-law is well cared for, staff lovely with her and the family. I would recommend Mahogany Care Home 100% kitchen staff and is also very nice always asking if we need anything. The entertainment brilliant I was there and all the residents having a sing-along and were so happy.

My grandma has been a resident of Mahogany since September 2024. She has vascular dementia and Alzheimers and had suffered a bad fall when she was at home which led to her having a hip replacement. Since going into mahogany my grandma has improved rapidly she looks so much healthier happier and content. Her mobility has really improved compared to when she was at home she could hardly walk now she is walking with her walking aid all the time and is able to take small steps unaided. I cannot praise the staff enough as each and every one of them are lovely very friendly and caring and it's plain to see they have the resident's best interest at heart. Every member of staff from the kitchen cleaners to the activity co-ordinator are brilliant with my grandma and goes above and beyond to support her and meet her needs. The manager is lovely she works closely with the family to ensure that the residents and family have their needs met and are happy.

My mum has recently moved into Mahogany, I cannot praise the staff enough with their friendly and approachable manner they have helped my mum settle in. I am happy that she was able to secure a place here and am extremely happy with the care that is provided.

Despite being difficult at times, my mother has received the best care possible. The staff are always friendly and approachable, they have given me regular updates throughout. The home is a welcoming place to visit.

My mum was only in the home for a short period, however, the level of service was great and the team were always positive, very supportive and proactive. The work you do is so essential and very underappreciated.

My husband has been in Mahogany for 4 years and couldn't get a nicer place, they treat everyone as family. So glad he is getting cared for so well, that he has his own room and no restrictions on visiting. Whatever I ask they will accommodate.

The home is very clean and is well-run. The staff are amazing always talking to the residents and keeping them entertained. Always going beyond to help out.
