Thank you for your excellent service and care.

Been visiting my nan for the year, and it is always clean, and the staff are always helpful. There's music on, and their food is really good. There are always things for them to do and keep them busy and active.

After spending many months looking for the right home for my great auntie, we came across Mahogany Care Home. From the day we have enquired and shown interest, all the staff and manager have been nothing but helpful and friendly. Since my great aunt was in the home, I can honestly say I feel happy leaving her there. I have been at many different times of the day, and the staff are always so happy and welcoming, and they showed a real interest in trying to get to know my auntie. Home always clean and tidy. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of the staff - cleaners, caterers, carers, nurses, administrator and manager.

Mahogany Care Home is run by a team of dedicated, hardworking, caring staff. When visiting mum there is always an air of calm and also an aroma of freshly made food! The staff always treat mum in a dignified and respectful manner, they are cheery and loving with her. All the staff, are friendly and approachable and nothing is too much trouble for them. The manager has been very supportive and gives us regular feedback on mum's progress. Mum is happy and secure and well cared for, this is of great comfort to us as a family.

An atmosphere of calm greets you at Mahogany House. Mum has been a resident there for almost a year. During that time my family and I have found the quality of care to be first class. Staff at all levels are friendly and approachable whilst working hard to ensure residents are safe, comfortable and healthy. They always have time for a cheery word and a happy smile. All staff, especially carers and nurses treat mum with dignity and respect. A varied schedule of activities are planned throughout the week keeping residents engaged. Mum and her friends tell me the food is delicious. The dedication of the staff is greatly appreciated. Leaving mum after a visit I am assured all her needs are well catered for.

I would highly recommend Mahogany care home - the manager and all of her staff genuinely care for your loved one. Thank you so much for all you do.

My father had a three-month stay at Mahogany Care home, during his stay he was treated with respect by all the staff and the home manager until his passing in early December. Our family can't thank the home and its staff enough for caring for him.

My mum has received excellent nursing care at Mahogany for the last three years and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. They go out of their way to communicate and engage with her and often have to anticipate her needs. They keep her clean, calm and comfortable. I would not have my mum cared for anywhere else.

I must say that the staff was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble to help the residents. If this is what it's like in care homes I think I would book my room now!

When my wife, suffering from dementia, was received at Mahogany from hospital, she was in a very poor condition and I worried about her immediate future. The staff patiently provided bed care for her until she strengthened and was able to use a specialist wheel-able chair and hence get a varied perspective around the home. This offers much needed stimulation, albeit without drawing much visible enthusiasm. Whilst there is no cure for the disease she is suffering, the care offered by Mahogany assures that she is kept safe, with dignity and respect. The staff are supportive, polite and professional in their work and are always prepared to give time and reassurance to myself and other visitors, which gives confidence that good quality care is being provided.

This home is fantastic, and I would not hesitate to live here should I ever need to be cared for.

From my viewpoint, the residents are respected for who they are and supported on that life journey.

Like all care homes, Mahogany Care Home struggled with staffing levels during Covid but things have improved all round with a lot more staff and new management.

The food is nice here, there's a variety of meals. My room is clean and tidy and cleaned daily, the care staff are friendly and my clothes are always clean. My privacy is always respected. I like the home overall.

My mum moved into Mahogany in June 2021 with mobility issues and dementia. Overall, all of the staff at Mahogany were caring and friendly. We visited Mum daily which was never a problem. Mum was comfortable in her room and had everything she needed. There were some issues along the way but I believe a number of these were down to a lack of staff. Sadly, I think this would be the case in any home as we’ve all heard about the huge problems of getting/keeping staff in the care environment. One big tip for anyone moving in, label everything before admittance! Laundry in particular has a tendency to go astray otherwise. Mum eventually moved on to nursing care which was good. We built a rapport with most of the staff who on the whole were helpful and caring. Mum sadly passed away in October, the staff were so good to us all, allowing us 24 hour access in the couple of days leading up to this. They looked after the family as well as Mum, keeping us supplied with drinks and snacks.

These lovely ladies have helped my father in so many different ways, they make him smile, take exceptional care of him and fulfil all his daily needs. We can relax knowing he is being well looked after. Thank you all.

From day one my father-in-law felt safe. Staff were doing all they could to keep residents safe from Covid. My father-in-law stayed negative while he was there. He was so settled and we knew he would be ok. He got very unwell quite quickly and we were allowed to be with him for his final couple of days. They always made sure he kept his dignity and took great care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mahogany and the management and staff really do care about your loved one. Thank you all for taking care of him. You are all angels.

When mum first arrived at Mahogany the staff would facilitate contact via the telephone, due to the Covid-19 lockdown. Slowly as months passed the contact has declined. I am reluctant to ring for updates as I fear I will upset my mum. I have had two window visits which left me feeling incredibly guilty as my mum doesn't remember why she can't leave. My mum has always had a very close relationship with her family. We have always spent a great deal of time together. Unfortunately, we now feel cut off. I understand this is a difficult time for everyone.
