A warm welcome from the moment we visited the Berwick. Me and my family knew instinctively what the Berwick would be the best fit for our mum . The staff are warm and caring and always smiling. The attentiveness they show towards the residents is truly touching , you can see it's genuine kindness.

The care that Nancy has been given in the 6+ years she has been here has been nothing short of exceptional throughout.

My mum has been in Broadway for 6 years and I can honestly say I would not wish for my mum to be anywhere else. The care she has received has been excellent. The whole team are very caring and show respect for the residents. The home has had a few improvements which are great making it a nice environment for all. At times it can be difficult for relatives and the staff are also on hand to answer any questions and are very caring.

This is a happy house.

At night time it can be variable.

I have had a very, very bad and distressing experience with this care home, and there is far more to my experience than I can explain in a review. I would strongly advise anyone considering placing their loved one here to contact me before making that decision. I am willing to explain everything that happened to my mother and what I experienced over the years. You will be shocked to hear what I have to say, and I believe it is worthwhile listening to my experience before making such an important decision. If you genuinely care about the safety and wellbeing of your loved one, please contact me first and I will share my experience with you. I have also spoken to members of the public who told me they had similarly bad experiences and advised me to remove my mother from the care home. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this care home to anyone. I would give it zero stars if that were possible. Please be cautious before placing your loved one here.

Thank you for a fantastic summer fate I work in care my self and have to say management staff family's went above and beyond what a fantastic day and to see staff giving there free time up .truly an amazing. Residents looked so happy and I was overwhelmed. Banksfield you smashed it love Julie.

There is a very inclusive recreational timetable which residents participate and enjoy.

What an absolute triumph of a day the summer fair was last Saturday! All the staff put in such a fabulous shift, not to mention the families of the staff too! Residents and families had an amazing time! My family and I had the best time, singing, playing games, eating fabulous cakes and having refreshments. Even had henna patterns on my hand and face painting too, children could participate in hook a duck, penalty shootout, raffles, tombola, An absolutely fabulous time had by all. My husband loved it and so did all the family. Well done and thank you

Wonderful caring staff who have made my dad feel at home. They have put my mum's mind at ease and are happy to welcome us at anytime. We cannot thank you enough for all you have done for our family at an incredibly challenging time.

Since my husband came to Courtfield at the end of May all staff have been very supportive and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them and they react to residents needs as soon as possible. I am confident my husband is safe and cared for.

I find the care home, staff and management, to be excellent. Food and facilities are good, my auntie might not agree, she is used to her own flat and cooking so she is finding it hard to adjust to life in a care home.

I have found no reason to complain while Peter has been here.

Bankfield Nursing Home is a friendly place, full of kind-hearted people who are eager to help the elderly and vulnerable. I highly recommend it. Thank you very much for the wonderful care you give my mother-in-law.

Do not know how much it is to stay!!

My mother in law came to Berwick on discharge to assess arrangements. She has had two years of very ill health presenting with unintentional self neglect choices and we had tried care agencies, home care and moving her to warden led accommodation. The transformation in her has been wonderful to see, the worries have reduced and so have the hospital admissions. The manager has taken on an our suggestions and responded without delay and made changes to her bedroom so it is personal, warm and welcoming. The staff know her well and they really do care and show this without effort. No hesitation to recommend.

I was in Hospital , unable to walk,when the manager of Bankfield carehome came to see me.I was impressed by this well presented,well spoken man,who took time to talk with me .Within a few days,I was transferred to Banksfield,and from the moment I arrived,I felt welcomed and well cared for. All of the staff are kind , compassionate , and willing to do their utmost to maintain my dignity and respect ,and help me in so many ways physically and emotionally,that I have come to think of Banksfield as my home with many extended family members! The rooms are very clean,well maintained,and freshly painted, the chef is very good,giving options on the menu,and special requests are gladly received and seen to immediately, and the beautiful little garden is lovingly tended. There is a good library,and an extremely good entertainment lady who is full of life.I couldn't have wished for a better care home to have been accepted into.

All the team are kind, caring & professional, willing to help and the team treat residents as individuals and with respect. Thank you so much.
