My wife is a resident in Hollins Bank. She is well cared for and treated with respect, the home is clean, and the staff are very caring. The home is clean and fresh, bright and inviting. The housekeepers keep the home lovely, and the laundry lady washes and irons my wife's clothes and returns them the
next day. I enjoy meals with my wife everday and they are tasty and varied. The manager answers queries and sorts out problems quickly and efficiently. Over Christmas, we were kept entertained by various things, pantomimes, singing and dancing and even went out for a Christmas meal. I spent Christmas Day with my wife and had lunch with her. A great place.

Broadway Nursing home is a caring, friendly rest home. The thing that makes it special is the staff. They are consistently excellent in their attitude to residents. I have visited my Godmother in for a few years and their dedication to the people in their care shines through. Their job is not easy but
they do it with a smile, humour and genuine care.
Broadway is well kept, fresh and the rooms are a good size. I have often arrived during lunch and it always seems good and varied.

We live quite a distance from our relative, yet when we arrive we are welcomed and made to feel at home. It is clear that the staff know our relative well and that she is cared for in our absence. They even know how she takes her tea without asking, and these little things are reassuring. The manager

I can not recommend Berwick house enough. They cared for my grandmother for over 6years. She was part of their family as much as ours. From day one she flourished. They took care of her every need. She was nearly 101 when she went in their and only a few weeks away from her 108th birthday when she passed
away. As a family we know without the love and care she received she would not of lived aslong as she did.

My mum is in the latter stages of Alzheimer's and has been in Broadway over 10 years. My brother has learning difficulties and vascular dementia and has been in 3 and a half years.
The regular staff and management are friendly and caring, but sometimes understaffed and could do with more help.
My
brother could do with more help shaving and getting dressed.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

Finally a care home that cares. My stepfather moved to Hollins bank early December. We have experienced three care homes over a period of time. I can confidently say he is happy there. All the staff are wonderful always working with a smile and knowing the residents and what they like. From the moment
I first walked in I was met with a warm welcome from reception. I was given a tour which and overwhelmed with what I saw . My stepfather arrived a little later. In the meantime all his room had been organised clothing hung in his wardrobe. The organisation was impressive. He is so settled has routine loves the food, has made new friends. The activities are varied and something for every one. The gardens are well kept. The whole of the home is spotless and all residents always look well turned out. What really stuck with me was the smiles and laughter coming from the communal area.

I live 300 miles away from Swansea Terrace were my dad is, and I don't get to see him as much as I'd like. I saw him 3 days running recently and was hugely impressed by the staff who care for him and the other residents. They were all so friendly and approachable and couldn't do enough for me. When
I asked for a few items, food, water, a mug, etc., there were no questions, and the response was immediate. Everyone I encountered was polite and professional, and I felt some comfort in saying goodbye to my dad.

Helpful and caring staff. Very busy and work hard. Look after me very well, coped with my mental health state well. (Sorry for that) food is great! Staff are funny, can have a laugh with them. I wouldn't choose to live in a carehome, unfortunately I have no other choice at the moment. The staff are
