Helpful and caring staff. Very busy and work hard. Look after me very well, coped with my mental health state well. (Sorry for that) food is great! Staff are funny, can have a laugh with them. I wouldn't choose to live in a carehome, unfortunately I have no other choice at the moment. The staff are
making my stay manageable and I thank them for that.

I cannot praise the home or the amazing staff enough, they have been exemplary in every way, they have been kind, caring, supportive both to my Father in law and to us as his family, keeping us up to date, informed and supported in what has been a difficult time. We really could not have asked for anything
better, the home, the facilities and the staff are excellent and I really could not think of anywhere better for my Father in laws care.

Since my mum has moved to Swansea Terrace I have seen a great improvement in her health, both physically and mentally. The staff are always trying to get my mother engaged in the activities, and I can see the difference in her. All the staff are great with mum, and I can see how much more happier and
alert she is now. The only issue, which is a small one, is the guard rail on mum's bed. It does tend to drop down. Everything else is excellent.
Reply from Davey Taverner, Marketing Manager at Swansea TerraceGood Afternoon, and thank you for taking the time to review Swansea Terrace so highly. We are thrilled you have seen such an improvement in your mum since she has been with us and glad that she is settled in well here. Our team will be delighted to hear your kind words and heartfelt recommendation of the home. We follow up on all feedback and appreciate you bringing your concerns about your mums guard rail to us. We will be sure to have this rectified. Thank you again for the high rating and have a wonderful day.

Mum has been in Swansea Terrace from April 2025. I like that they get mum out of bed in day, staff friendly, I think mum's room could do with decorating bed upgrading has bed guards broken and at 1000 per week. Mum eats well menu ie food is good for mum as she has stage 4 food.

My mother is a resident of Berwick care home, I have always found the staff friendly caring and courteous. I am always kept informed of any changes in care or if my mother has had a fall.
It is a fairly small care home, so care can be tailored on a more individual basis.
I am happy that my mother
is being well cared for

Visited my Aunt at Banksfield Nursing Home today and was pleasantly surprised. As always, the staff are friendly, helpful and most importantly caring towards the residents. I was especially pleased to meet the homes new activities coordinator. She was a lovely breath of sunshine and had so many ideas
that she would like to implement for the residents inregards to different activities. I loved that she had residents pictures up and had made a brilliant feelings poster. My aunt is now having difficulty formulating the correct word that she wants to say. The feelings board is clear and simple for the residents to use as a positive form of communication. I look forward to seeing more activities being promoted to help the residents.
Reply from Alison Foreman, Commercial Director at Banksfield Nursing HomeThank you very much for your wonderfully positive review. Its so good to see team members being recognised. My mum has been a resident for nine months. She tells me the staff are lovely, she is happy and comfortable. There has been a significant improvement in the communal rooms and general accommodation following cleaning and redecoration, which has made a big difference to staff, residents and visitors.
The residents are well cared for, enjoy their meal times and mix with each other. The staff are well presented and welcoming, and they support all residents with their individual needs.

My auntie has been a resident for the past 2 months,I find the staff very friendly and helpful but my biggest concern is I feel there is not enough of them for the residents and the level of care they need ,they are always helpful and they do there best under the circumstances, the manager is very
approachable and easy to talk too and feel they are doing there very best to lift the standard of the home , the food is of a reasonable standard I feel more fresh fruit could be available, the rooms are adequate but for personal and dignity reasons i feel they all should be on suite.. the home is satisfactory clean could be of better standard , I feel the home is safely secure, as too value ... i would ask do you feel you are giving the level of care you would expect for your family members for the amount you charge for the service you provide ... i would suggest not...I feel a few small changes could make a big difference to the level of service and care you provid to you residents

I am really enjoying living at the nursing home and it feels homely and my family enjoy visiting me here as made to feel at home. I have a lot of care requirements and I feel like these needs are met and that I am included in all decision making i.e. choosing clothes, meals and including me in all activities.
The staff treat me with great respect and dignity and wash, dress and feed me. I feel like nothing is too much trouble, as well as my care needs the staff always make sure to have a chat when checking on me.
