While there we saw the refreshments he was given and they seemed to be of good quality. The members of staff we saw were polite & friendly & really seemed to care for my brother. He made some good friends there. It was a happy place for him to end his life.

If only they had accepted accountability in the first place not only had I lost my mum but I had to deal with them not accepting any responsibility at all for her care which caused me great distress . For instance reported falls alarm broken in December and in January she fell out of bed and staff not alerted as they had never repaired alarm. Although my Mum will not benefit hopefully other residents will and as a nurse myself I will always feel I failed my own mum having her admitted to Brandon House . Visiting every day for hours gives you a true reflection of what really happen

My brother received care, support, and LOVE in his last hours, I was there, & was very moved by the kindness he & I were shown by all the staff on duty. When I arrived he was clean, shaved, hair brushed, and his last moments were quiet, calm & peaceful. I cannot thank the staff enough, A "CARE" Home, that is what he found in Brandon House. Thank you.

Recently she was moved to the nursing unit Rycroft due to more needs. She has settled extremely well. The staff are amazing. The food as previously is very nice and the unit itself is very clean and tidy. The staff are very attentive to my mums needs.

I feel that my mother in law is very well looked after at Knowles Court. The staff are amazing. The manager Jonathon does his job amazingly. He dealt with a situation with the upmost professionalism.

For anyone worried about getting the best care for their loved ones I would highly recommended this care home. My mum is in Ryecroft, the care and love she receives from all the staff gives great comfort when I can't be there or when my visit comes to an end. They provide what they say and more...thankyou so much.

Its a while since I left my last review and felt I needed to as I cannot compliment the staff team at this home enough. My husband is well cared for loved by all the staff and I can sleep on a night knowing he is in good hands. Kelly the manager is very responsive she always makes time for not just me but all residents and families. My husband loves the home cooked food and he tells me every visit how much he loves the food. The care staff go above and beyond and treat him with dignity and respect despite the challenges that they are faced with each day due to the cruel illness, dementia. I cannot recommend this home and the love and care enough to anyone who is facing the difficult decision to place their loved one into care. Thank you all at brandon . Kelly you and your team deserve a medal

Thank you just knowing my aunt is being cared for 24/7 gives me peace of mind & I am truly grateful.

My dad moved into Brandon house in April 2025 and I have to say kelly and her team are outstanding polite and well mannered on arrival the attention to detail with my dad medication is 1s class his meals are fantastic and nothing is to much bother I get regular calls and update on how he is doing knowing this I am ease and that he is in the best possible place and he is well looked after.

My mother is 91 and has late-stage dementia. She recently broke her hip and is not able to walk or take her own weight. She has joined Ryecroft and everybody we have dealt with has been absolutely first class. The staff really do care and it shows. My mum for the first time in 2 months when she was in hospital was smartly dressed and had the biggest smile when I visited. Thank you all.

As always we were greeted by the friendly staff. Our aunt was tired and sleepy but obviously well cared for.

In particular one of the carers (Jayne) has been lovely towards my mother demonstrating a caring and joyful approach which has brough a smile to my mothers face.

My family-and most importantly my mum-are very happy with Brandon House (BH). Although she has only been there a month, she already feels so settled it seems much longer. Mum moved there as she is unable to live independently and is living with terminal cancer. From day one she has been cared for with dignity, kindness, and compassion, and we feel complete confidence in her care. Her room is bright and comfortable, with her own possessions making it feel like home. She can enjoy her hobbies in her own space and, with support using a hoist and wheelchair, can also join others in the communal areas, garden, and social spaces when we visit. BH is clean, modern, smells nice, and we've been advised of exciting future plans. Mum praises the food and has regained weight after losing much during a hospital stay, which is reassuring. Every staff member has been friendly, attentive, and supportive-we are grateful for the kindness shown to both Mum and our family.

I came to visit my brother for the first time at Brandon House on 27.8.25 with my sister. I can happily say every single member of staff we met were friendly, helpful & welcoming. My brother seemed very well cared for and happy. There was a really homely feel to the place & everywhere was very clean & tidy. His room seemed very adequate & comfortable & I left feeling he was in a good place.

I would just like to say how amazing the food is at Brandon House Nursing Home my mum so looks forward to dinner time's it's so important she eat's well and at Brandon House she definitely does a great range of food through the week the "fish and chip Friday's" are definitely up at the top of the list ... thank you all so much for the care and attention you give my mum it is so nice to know that she's been looked after so well thank you all

It is a daunting task looking for a care home for a loved one. I can honestly say that everyone that I have met has been wonderful/welcoming people. The manager explained everything involved in the transition from hospital for my mother. Care staff have treated my mother with dignity and respect. There are works ongoing to redecorate certain areas. The environment is very clean and welcoming. Food is cooked on site and very nice. Even though my mother's appetite is small every effort is made to encourage her to eat. A huge relief to find a homely setting with a helpful manager and great carers

My dad resided at Headley House from January 2024 to April 2025 following my dad's passing. Whilst here, my dad received very good care from all staff members. They couldn't do enough and if I had to ask for something to be done differently-this happened very quickly after speaking to the senior on shift. My dad's incontinence pads were changed regularly and his personal care was of the highest standard. His washing came back in a timely manner as well and they have a good laundry system that is managed well provided you label all your loved ones clothing. Four members of the staff team attended my dad's funeral recently and I am not sure whether staff came in or out of works time, but that deserves a thank you in itself. I would recommend this care home 100%
