Bilton Hall Nursing Home

Mum was a resident for 5 weeks in July/august 2026. She was extremely well cared for- all the caregivers were very kind and caring. The admin staff and managers were extremely helpful and supportive, both with her admission and her sudden death. Thank you so much.

My mum was in the home for just over 4 weeks. From visiting the home with my sister to get mum a room to dealing with mum's death, we found all the staff we dealt with to be friendly, caring and professional. Mum's experience there was short and very limited as she did not leave her room (this was mainly her choice - we and staff did try to encourage her) but she did have very positive comments about the care she received.

Plant knocked over picked up but soil left on floor, flowers left with a note PLEASE WATER ME 5 days later not a teaspoon of water in them. DEAD. Table next bed dirty. Doors on toilet can't be shut, fan in room not on in this heatwave. On visiting with my husband my friend in bed with T.shirt & knickers uncovered. not very dignified!!

My very good friend has been at Bilton Hall for 5 months, she has settled in straight away and she is very happy! The staff are very caring and friendly and nothing is too much for them. My friend says she couldn't have found anywhere better.

The carers are wonderful and always very responsive as are other members of staff who are always ready to listen & resolve any queries or issues.

Mum has been in Bilton Hall for just over a year at first she was still mobile and enjoyed taking part in all the daily activities but unfortunately her dementia has worsened and she's not able to join in. The staff have been amazing giving her excellant care and encouragement everyone is so helpfull and lovely with mum and do their best to make her day to day as comfortable as she can be. I'm happy leaving mum knowing she's very well looked after.

I visit the home regularly. The home is always filled with lots of love & laughter. Food is excelleant as is the varied activity programe.

A lovely home the staff are amazing there is always something going on for the residents my aunty is so happy there it's like home from home for her

Excellent caring staff. First class and friendly staff.

In my experience, the home appears well run, clean, and the staff are caring and professional. On entering the home you are welcomed and politely reminded to sign in and out. The grounds are beautiful and an added bonus in warmer months; in addition, the secure courtyard provides a pretty, safe, outdoor space to sit or walk. My brother is well-cared for and always appears happy. He is engaged every day in a variety of activities, which I follow on social media; the photos and videos are a brilliant way for a sister living a fair distance away to keep in touch. I would like to thank all the staff for your kindness and hard work.

I arrived here feeling very apprehensive about wether I would be able to settle but after being here for 6 weeks, I feel very much at home. I am very happy and contented. The staff are so lovely and caring. I cannot speak to highly of the care, the food the accomodation in all everything is excellent.

She had lost a lot of confidence after spending time in various hospitals but since arriving at Bilton Hall, is now regaining her confidence and is integrating into social activities again.

Mum came to Bilton Hall Nursing Home as a palliative/end of life care. She was cared for extremely well. The chef checked what food she liked and consistenly; the maintenance team checked the safety, the cleaner made sure of sanitising and cleaned; the nurses/assistants all ensured Mum was comfortable and ensured personal care completed and appropriate medication; laundry was done regularly; admin was taken great care. Lovely garden - well kept. Always able to make Mum "hot chocolate" as often as required. All the staff were happy and lovely.

I pop in to Bilton Hall Nursing Home to chat to staff & residents, I am greeted with such warmth & kindness. I help calling bingo on a Friday. I bake cakes for events such as VE day, summer fetes, macmillan coffee morning, Harvest festival.

They kept in touch and liaised with the Hospital.

A very kind & caring staff. Nothing too much trouble. Beautiful surroundings and a magnificent old house that still has kept it's authenticity.

The day after Dad was discharged I went to visit. On entering his room he was chatting to two male nurses about football. They were laughing and joking and this was the first time in a while I had seen my Dad sociable. He was happy - settled - and more importantly, safe. He told me he was living in a 10* hotel. This affirmation was so important to our family. Dad's illness was complicated and passed away the next day, peacefully.

The food is well presented and spoken highly of.

However I don't know why I was sent there in the first place! I do not have dementia!! Everything is geared up for dementia, so I did not join in with the activities after the 1st week. The only people I had any proper conversations with were residents visitors. I spent a lot of time on my own in my room watching tv or reading. Food was let down by not being warm enough.
