Always, I look forward to visiting Bilton Hall Nursing Home to spend quality time with my lovely wife. The carers are friendly, efficient (competent), smiling. Long may this continue.

All of the staff work very hard and there seems to be good team spirit.
I am happy with this care home.
Good afternoon, we are so glad that you are happy with the high standard of care your mother is receiving. Our team here at Bilton Hall always strives to create a warm and welcoming environment for both our residents and their loved ones. We appreciate your feedback and are touched by your kind words. Have a wonderful day.
I found the staff to be very friendly, and approachable and, more importantly, they were kind and caring towards my cousin who always seemed pleased to see staff when they visited her room, despite her problems and being totally bed-bound. I saw staff interacting with other residents in the public areas and they were always respectful and kind and spoke with good humour, obviously enjoying their work.
I was kept well informed of any issues, and on the occasion of a more serious problem was able to speak to the temporary manager about it.
I always felt the home was clean, none of the stale odours found in some care homes.
In the end, my cousin was well looked after, as I was at this difficult and upsetting time.
Hello Linda, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us an honest and heartfelt review for Bilton Hall. We are so sorry for the loss of your cousin, we know how difficult it can be to lose a loved one. We are so glad that we could provide the love and care your cousin deserved. I will be sure to relay your lovely comments to our team. Thank you.
Bilton Hall is not the most modern home but it is homely and the staff create a lovely atmosphere. I can see gradual improvements since my mother moved in. Mum is happy, safe, and well cared for which are my main priorities.
Thank you for taking the time to review Bilton Hall. We are thrilled that your mum is settled in well with us and we are delighted you have noticed the efforts we are making to improve our service. We strive to provide the best care and support our residents need and we appreciate your feedback. Have a lovely day.
The home is shabby and requires refurbishment. Areas often smell although the new managers have improved things somewhat. The gardens and car park areas need tidying up. The staff are pleasant and friendly and kind to the residents but seem to be short in numbers. Agency staff are not the answer. My resident friend enjoys his cup of tea and piece of cake in the afternoon and says that the food is good. He is contented and well-liked by all the staff who always speak to him.
Thank you for taking the time to review Bilton Hall. We appreciate your honest feedback and will take your comments into consideration and move forward accordingly. Thank you for the kind words about our Staff and the standards of our catering and food service. At We Care Group we strive for high standards and are grateful for your review. Thank You
I have not been a regular visitor to the home. I do know that my cousin was well looked after and loved by the staff. I dealt more with the financial side and I always found the staff so helpful and kind with everything I needed to sort. He has now, sadly, died and at the funeral there were two lovely representatives of Bilton Hall Nursing Home. It is a beautiful building in lovely countryside. I would recommend the home without hesitation.
Thank you for taking the time to review Bilton Hall so highly. We are so sorry for the passing of your cousin and would like to extend our deepest sympathies. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to inform the team. Thank you.
Convenient location, stunning rural setting. Staff are helpful and friendly at all times. A good atmosphere amongst residents and staff. Some technical difficulties that were overcome in good spirit. My friend seems quite happy here. Good visitor access. A pleasure to visit.
Thank you for taking the time to review Bilton Hall so favourably.
I find the receptionists and staff welcoming and kind, nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Everyone always has a genuine smile on their faces and are always willing to help if I have a certain request. The home has such a 'family' atmosphere. Well done everyone.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. It is lovely to hear about the wonderful care your mother receives in Bilton Hall and the lovely 'family atmosphere' in the home. I will share your kind comments with all the team.
From the moment we walked into Bilton Hall Nursing Home we all knew and feel it was the right place for our brother. Warm and all the staff are very friendly. My brother is very happy he loves joining in with all the activities. Definitely recommend.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is wonderful to hear how happy your brother is at Bilton Hall and that he joins in with our wide range of activities. I will share your kind comments with the team.
On our first visit it was extremely warm and when we mentioned this the housekeeper she told us ‘ They just sit around all day’.
Our friend sadly passed away in August and when we went to collect her belongings the lady on the desk never even said sorry.
All of her personal items went ‘missing’ including jewellery and items we had taken in to help her pass the time and feel at home. We were never advised not to take in personal items.
Her clothes had been packed into two bin bags and when we got them home we found they had included three pairs of heavily soiled knickers! This was very distressing. We sent a list of missing items to the care home manager and still haven’t had a reply. Not what you want at such a sad time.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review at this difficult time. We are sorry for your loss and to hear about the experience you have had and apologise for any undue stress caused. We know how difficult and disorientating it is when people move into a care home and would like to reassure...
Rooms are very basic, the food seems to be well prepared and looked appetising.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review for Bilton Hall. We are really surprised about your comments as we have had an ongoing programme of decoration within the home and we have had positive comments from residents and relatives within the home. All our bedrooms are decorated as necessary...
On the last 3 occasions of visiting my mother my wife who is a nurse has had to ask for bed sheets and a duvet cover for my mother, which came almost immediately but we should not have to be asking.
At over £1000 per week, I expect more for a lady who has spent her life caring for others.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review, which we welcome as it helps us to develop and improve. We are pleased to hear that the staff are always friendly, smiling and welcoming when you visit your mother. We would like to reassure you that the health, safety and well-being of our...
All the staff and management worked so hard to offer a loving, caring home-from-home experience for my father. Nothing was too much trouble, you could feel the love and warmth throughout the building. Dad passed away at the end of December, both him and all our family were treated with dignity and respect throughout the short time dad spent in your care. I would recommend Bilton Hall to anyone looking for first-class care. It's a special place!
Thank you for your kind review of Bilton Hall Care Home. It is always wonderful to hear from families about the hard work and loving care provided by our caring staff. We are pleased your dad received such wonderful loving care. I will share your lovely comments with all the team.
I have to say what a lovely, caring environment Bilton Hall provides. The staff simply cannot do enough for the residents of the home. Bilton Hall provided an excellent stepping stone for Mum to come out of hospital and receive a few weeks of respite care before moving back closer to home. Thank you ever so much to all the staff at Bilton Hall, you do an amazing job!
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. We are delighted to hear how pleased you and your mum were with the excellent care provided at Bilton Hall, during her recent respite stay. We hope she is doing as well in her new setting. I will share your comments with the team.
The home is sat on beautiful grounds, well kept and a real delight to take my father for a walk in the wheelchair. The staff were warm and caring, starting from the moment you entered with the admin team. I couldn't recommend the place more highly.
Thank you for your lovely review. The home is set in beautiful grounds and it is lovely to hear that you and your father are enjoying them on your walks. It is also nice to hear how pleased you are with the warm and caring team in the home. I will share your comments with the home.
On arrival by ambulance, Mum was warmly greeted by reception, care and nursing staff, who immediately made her feel welcome and at home. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for their care and love, which was evident at all times. The Manager made a point of introducing himself to Mum, which was a lovely, personal touch. Mum was taken to a large, comfortable room with a garden view. Mum's care was put into place immediately, and we left feeling very reassured that her needs would be fully catered for. The family visited regularly and found the care to be first-class and consistent. Mum was treated with dignity at all times. The nursing staff kept the family fully informed of Mum's condition. Staff went the extra mile by making a huge fuss of her 100th birthday, producing a delicious home-baked cake. Sadly Mum passed away after two weeks, without having fully experienced the beautiful surroundings and wonderful amenities on offer. I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and professionalism.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review for Bilton Hall, at what must be such a difficult time for you and the family. It is wonderful to hear how happy you were with the care your mum received during her time at the home. It was an honour to care for your mum and celebrate her 100th birthday with her. I will share your kind comments with all the team.
I am very satisfied with the care given to my aunty. She is very happy and refers to the staff as her friends who will do anything she asks for. Over the two years, we have been involved with Bilton Hall, the staff have kept me informed of her progress and any changes to her care as she is now in need of nursing care. During the pandemic, the staff worked tirelessly to enable contact with families.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is wonderful to hear how happy your aunty is in the home and that she refers to the staff as her friends. We work hard to create a caring, warm, friendly, homely environment. I will share your comments with all the team.
Mum has made great progress at Bilton care home after her stroke. The care given is excellent, and I am kept informed on all developments and problems. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it is clear they take great pride in doing a good job. I am pleased I chose this home for mum's care and have no hesitation in recommending Bilton Hall for the care of your loved one.
Thank you for completing a review of our home. It is always lovely to receive such wonderful feedback. I share your comments with all the team at Bilton Hall.
Following a broken hip operation, my mother was transferred to Bilton Hall on an interim care bed placement. Whilst here the staff provided a good level of care within a culture of respect and commitment to adapt to specific needs e.g her sight improvement all the team aimed to provide the best level of care and the catering and support staff, in particular, were kind and helpful. The manager and deputy manager were also proactive in helping to arrange transfer to a downstairs room which was quieter and more appropriate and this helped ensure a peaceful passing.
Very helpful and friendly staff. A pleasant place to be.
Thank you for your review. It is lovely to receive such lovely feedback about the team and the home. I will share your comments with the team.
