Bilton Hall Nursing Home is a 58 bedded care home which provides residential and nursing care for older people and people living with dementia. A new manager has recently been appointed and residents and relatives can be assured of the continued, excellent standards of care and high-quality facilities in a beautiful tranquil setting.

The home, which is situated in an old manor house, one of the oldest buildings in Harrogate, is set in seven acres of landscaped gardens with extensive lawns, flower beds and mature trees with panoramic views over Knaresborough. There are a range of sitting areas with chairs, tables and parasols to enable the residents to enjoy the outdoors, with a dementia friendly area.

This Jacobean former manor house has up-to-date facilities for up to 60 residents, with all rooms having private en-suite facilities. There are beautiful lounges and dining rooms together with some 'quirky' areas giving residents plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy the company for friends and family.

A person-centred dementia unit has recently been completed offering expert nursing care for people living with dementia. There is a dedicated activities co-ordinator who has developed a programme, offering a wide range of entertainment and activities to suit all tastes.

Situated conveniently between Harrogate & Knaresborough, Bilton Hall offers 24-hour nursing care to residents in a homely, compassionate environment and prides itself on its delicious home-cooked food.

Excellent care and a very friendly home environment. Lovely grounds to admire and bright rooms to sit in. Always lots of activities for my Aunt to join in with - never a dull moment! Food is consistently very tasty.

Collette is Bilton Hall’s Manager and has several years of experience. Her main interest and experience are in managing successful care homes housing elderly and frail Residents, some of whom have mental health issues. Collette is very experienced in the management of care homes and is committed to providing a high–quality service.


She is ultimately responsible for the effective and professional running of the care home, but will allocate time to discuss any aspect of our residents' care or any problems they may be experiencing. Collette is keen to work closely and in partnership with our Residents, their relatives and significant others to benefit the Residents in her care. She is a dynamic team leader and has an ongoing interest in professional development and career progression
