Mum was admitted to the nursing home during the Covid-19 pandemic so it was difficult to assess things at first. Our experience when restrictions were lifted was that the staff were friendly, helpful and caring. Mum enjoyed the food and the social activities. Her room was always clean and when mum was diagnosed with end of life the nursing care was outstanding.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review, which we appreciate. We are pleased to hear that your mum enjoyed life in the home and received outstanding care from all the team.
My mother was so lovely cared for here during the last few months of her life. The staff were just so wonderfully caring.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of our home. It is lovely to receive such positive feedback about the home and the wonderful care your mother received. I will share your comments with all of the team.
My wife, who has Alzheimer's, has recently moved into Bilton Hall. We looked at a number of homes but felt Bilton Hall had the most homely atmosphere where she would feel comfortable. All the staff were very welcoming and helped her to adapt to her new home, and settled in quickly, helping her and making me feel more comfortable in leaving her.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review for Bilton Hall. It is lovely to hear how well your wife has settled into the home and how comfortable you feel. I will share your comments with the team.
My experiences when visiting Bilton Hall Nursing Home has been very satisfactory. All the staff that I have been in contact with have always been very helpful and friendly.
The staff are the best always there for me.
Staff are very kind and caring. My mother feels very at home here and is treated with respect.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review at Bilton Hall Nursing Home. We are delighted to hear you appreciate our staff and the type of care we offer.
Tonight I witnessed tinned spaghetti on white toast as food for someone who is dying. This is not nutrition.
Looking at the most recent accounts I could find online their profit margins were in the high 30% region. Having grown up in a nursing home I know some of the economics of it. This is a clear case of underinvestment. Shame on the owners.
Simon, we appreciate you taking the time to write a review of Bilton Hall following your visit to the Nursing Home. As you might have anticipated, we are disappointed to read your review as we don’t fully recognise your description of either our service or the standards that your remarks appear to...
My wife has been in the home since May 2021 and due to covid, I have not seen around the home only my wife's bedroom, the pod, office and reception.
We really appreciate you taking the time out to leave a review about our home.
My mother arrived at Bilton Hall Nursing Home in the last stages of dementia. She was not an easy patient to care for both physically and mentally, however, the care she received was first-rate. All the staff were caring, compassionate and considerate, whilst maintaining high professional standards. I am extremely grateful that you cared for mother so well. I cannot recommend you highly enough.
Dear Julie, thank you very much for your kind words. We will pass your comment to our team.
Kind and caring to me and my husband and very supportive at the time of his death.
Thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Bilton Hall!

The most outstanding thing about Bilton Hall is the staff are always friendly, helpful and treating residents with respect. As an overseas service user, times have been extremely challenging due to the pandemic; it has given me great peace of mind to know Dad is being well cared for. It has also been a joy to see video clips on Facebook in previous months and see him dancing or engaging in activities with others. Skype has been a huge bonus when I was unable to travel. On occasions during my visits, Dad has loved going outside in the beautiful grounds.
We are thrilled to read your review. We are glad that you are pleased with all the efforts put in by the team here at Bilton Hall Nursing Home. We hope to continue to provide a positive experience for all our residents and their families at our home.
Outstanding care and support provided for my mum who is exceptionally happy and calm. The staff are incredibly kind to my mum and towards me.

As I was not allowed into Bilton Hall until the 31st of March, then as a "caregiver", I found the last 8 months extremely upsetting. I had no idea what my husband's room was like and knew very few members of staff. I was finally allowed to see him as a caregiver for 4 visits and then the home was locked down for 28 days because someone tested positive. I found this even more upsetting and frustrating and we were both distraught. I was finally allowed back in, in May and could see the deterioration in him over those 4 weeks. Now I am allowed inside I am happy with his care and the staff are kind and helpful. I think the restrictions for care homes over the last year have been extremely cruel. My husband and I have been married for 53 years and have never been separated before. It has not been the way we envisaged spending our last months together.
The care she received from everyone at Bilton Hall was exceptional; which is the most important thing.
The care team were exactly that - caring; as well as being kind and courteous to family and friends. We got to speak with the nursing team whenever we wanted and they were the same names and faces every time - which was great for Mum as she got to know all the people there.
Due to Covid, visits were difficult but always well organised and ensured that all protocols were observed.
In the last few days, the home was very sensitive to compassionate needs. The accommodation and grounds at Bilton Hall are great.
Thank you very much for your kind words. Here in Bilton Hall, we always strive to provide top quality service to every resident and are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience here.
My mum entered Bilton Hall with a full hip replacement, postoperative delirium and 3 1/2 years with advanced Alzheimer's. She stayed there for 5 months until her death in May. She was much calmer and happier in a caring environment than she had been at home. The staff were fantastic - kind, available, helpful, and always got back to you. We were kept up to date on my mother's condition and I couldn't praise them too highly, I would recommend them to anyone.
We sincerely thank you for the positive and kind review. We are thrilled to hear you found your mum much calmer and happy while she was with us.
My stay here has not been a long one but I have found everyone I came into contact with helpful. The atmosphere is similar to my home. The nurses and other staff could have been relatives. I thank them all.
Dear Resident, We are thrilled to hear you enjoy your stay here. We truly believe you are part of the family here.
It was my first visit inside to see my brother since his admission on transfer from hospital last July 2020. We had an outside meeting in August in the garden. We are/was welcomed kindly. The visit went happily and was given privacy (not a problem), carers and administrators were attentive to requirements and friendly. Also on the telephone or skype meetings. The room was clean and my brother is comfortable. He has lost his mobility.
Hi There, we really appreciate you taking the time out to leave a review about our home.
Staff are polite and friendly. Accommodation clean and tidy. Food is ok. Management is approachable and efficient. Standard of care seems good. Location is great.
Hi, we really appreciate you taking the time out to leave a review about our home.
Due to the specific procedures required during the Covid pandemic, extra work in more ways than one had affected staff in all departments. It has been very much appreciated that the continued caring approach and attention given to my husband in all aspects has never faulted and this has meant a lot and is a credit to the staff. Being able to see each other on Skype has also been very much appreciated by us both.
Nita, we are thrilled to read your review. We are glad that you are pleased with all the efforts put in by the team here at Bilton Hall Nursing Hall. We hope to continue to provide a positive experience for all our residents and their families at our home.
Beautiful property. Friendly staff. Cannot do enough for you. Residents always come first. Since my Aunt resided at Bilton Hall Nursing Home she has changed for the good. Coming from a bad situation, she loves the home. She is smiling, healthier and loves all the staff. Thank you to all, keep up the good work. Great atmosphere. Can not say enough. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. We love to hear that you see a positive change in her thanks to our care.
