My family member used to live here and I must say the care I can't fault but there is a lot of agency carers in the home. My family member was on the nursing unit. I did have a couple of disagreements with the management over the number of agency carers there were and they told me it wasn't an issue for myself to get involved in, I think they are very rude, but as I say the care my family member recieved was great, oh and the cost of the care my family member recieved kept increasing year after year so we moved them to a different care home on the Wirral and I cant fault it there, great management great carers and respect for the family of the resident.

Mum moved in after a harrowing 5-week stay in hospital! My sister and I were beside ourselves with worry when hospital said she needed to go in a nursing home. We looked around a few homes but this one (Safe Harbour) stuck out a mile, friendly, caring, efficient, lovely bright rooms. Mum moved in early Sept and I have been so happy with how well she settled in. Safe Harbour is a homely place with staff who really care. I feel supported too. Mum is everything to me and I feel I can trust Safe Harbour with her completely!

The staff are very friendly to both residents and visitors. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant. The staff go our of their way to talk to the residents. When I have visited I have taken part in dancing, singing and watched group talking.

The wall decorations are interesting, the outdoor courtyard is a good space. The doors on the rooms give a good impression of home.

I have found Safe Harbour to be a very pleasant care home. Staff have been excellent in caring for my mother and as far as I have seen with every other person in there. Nothing is too much for the staff. Also they are very helpful and courteous with visitors. As far as I can see the care and all aspects of a care home is superb here.

This home was put in special measures and due to close those time last year. I decided to support the owners and staff and leave my mum at the home because I believed that she was loved and cared for there. Since then the home has improved within, much warmer and welcoming - a home from home. Staff are always loving and caring, and know the ways and needs of each individual. Nothing but praise for them and now I know I was right to keep mum there.

Under the new ownership and management Safe Harbour has become an excellent care home with hard working dedicated staff. There is a programme of varied entertainment, music being an important feature but including visits from dogs and even tortoises. Birthdays are celebrated and outings arranged when appropriate for the individual resident. There is close co-operation with doctors, chiropractors etc. and residents are encouraged to dress well with hair attended to etc. I am grateful to all the staff for the care my husband is receiving.
