Beechcroft is an elegant, red brick house, set amidst landscaped gardens in Prenton, Oxton, which is an attractive and established residential suburb on the Wirral Peninsula, renowned for its natural beauty.

Beechcroft offers permanent, short term and respite care for older people with residential or nursing needs.

The home has two large lounge areas for residents to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends, one is a quieter, peaceful lounge which overlooks the garden. The bedrooms are spacious and decorated to a high standard, many with en-suite facilities.

Mum is receiving the best of care.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming to residents and visitors alike.
Staff are dedicated to giving the best care and making residents feel at home.
There are activities everyday and family are welcome to join in.
The food is excellent and mum's appetite has
improved since she moved in.
Her room is kept clean and tidy and she is treated with respect and affection.

This is an absolutely fantastic care home. I have moved my grandad from two other homes as he was not happy and neither was I. My grandad has full capacity so is able to tell me himself how happy he is in Beechcroft and how amazing the staff are. Beachcroft is clean, the staff are friendly and so helpful,
the manager is very hands on and will do anything she can to help. I’d highly recommend Beechcroft to anyone of any level of care need. I also find it speaks volumes that a few of Beechcroft's own staff have relatives there too. 10/10.

My aunt was admitted to this caring home on 12th December 2018, in the late stages of bowel cancer, the care she received was excellent in all respects. Beechcroft is spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished, warm and welcoming. The staff at all levels are friendly, professional, caring and dedicated
to the health of residents. While at Beechcroft my aunt's every need was catered for and she slipped away quietly and comfortably, on January 2nd, having received exemplary care. A special mention goes to the manager, whose management and people skills enable the caring environment in this lovely home.

During my father's stay there, the staff in all roles at Beechcroft provided excellent care and displayed obvious concern at a personal, as well as professional level. They were flexible and good humoured when dealing both with my father and his family and always strived to accommodate preferences for
diet, mealtimes, bedtime, etc.. Visiting family were always positively made welcome no matter what time of day or night. My father benefited greatly from the excellent medical care - problems that would otherwise have taken hours to resolve and even lead to hospital stays were dealt with quickly and calmly within the home. I will always be grateful to the staff at Beechcroft for the professional and compassionate way they helped my father and his family at a very difficult time.

My dad had the very best care at Beechcroft. I couldn’t ask for more. The staff are universally dedicated, hard-working, extremely competent and truly caring. They work extremely hard all day long and yet remain cheerful and professional with residents and guests. The staff supported my dad and his
wider family so amazingly well during my dad’s final weeks. The nursing staff were so competent and attentive we could feel very comfortable knowing dad would be quickly looked after if any health issues arose. The staff took the time to get to know each resident and my dad enjoyed their company very much. His final weeks would have been a lot less enjoyable had he not had the benefit of their company. We recommend Beechcroft 100%.

What can I say, thank you a million times for looking after my 65year old mum in the final months of her life. The love and affection shown to my mum was beyond belief and not just to my mum but all residents living there. Staff on every level took real time to chat, love and care for my mum, I would
recommend you to anyone who wants their loved one to receive top class care. I will miss going there myself as it was such a big part of the last 5 months. I can't end this review without mentioning the food as it was fabulous, more like fancy restaurant food than what you would expect in a home. The chefs are amazing and it's lovely that people living in a care home get to enjoy delicious meals every day, it was a big comfort to me as my mum didn't eat for months before going to Beechcroft, then she couldn't get enough, thank you.

I cannot praise the staff of this nursing home enough. They are the staff of the highest quality. Apart from being highly professional, they are extremely compassionate they took care of Mum's every need and on top of that found time to help us through a very difficult time. When I say us that meant
an awful lot of our extended family. To the staff, I extend my warmest thank you, you are all brilliant.

What a marvellous care home. The staff and nurses made my Mothers last days really happy for her and nothing was too much trouble for them. If you are looking for a care home in the Wirral area this is the one.

Caring friendly staff who looked after my mother very well. The manager of the home responded quickly to concerns and did her utmost to resolve. Variety of entertainment. Good decor and the new Christmas decorations were lovely. I am very grateful for the care shown to my mother. Thank you.
The lift
is old and needs updating, however, the staff plans in place meant that after the first breakdown my mother was not affected because she was moved to a ground floor room.

Due to the problems last summer with the lift, we installed 2 stair lifts in November 2017, with a 3rd stair lift to be installed by March 2018, as a back up to the main lift, covering all 4 floors. In addition, the lift mechanism was partially upgraded in August 2017, with the upgrading to be completed after the installation of the 3rd stair lift. The main lift is already a lot more reliable.
