From my very first contact with the deputy manager at Barchester Prestbury Beaumont Care Community, I felt we would be in safe hands. The general manager and the whole team were wonderful in every way - absolutely faultless - the most wonderful, caring people you could wish to meet. At a very difficult,
worrying time, regarding Mum, we were cocooned in love and support. We did not use the facilities as Mum stayed in her room but the staff and the food were incredible.

I think some members of staff could improve communication whilst caring for the service users by explaining what is the next step so they don't feel so confused and pads could be checked more and changed more often. But above all, we understand they are doing their best and they are aware there is room
for improvement. However, the staff are universally kind and friendly.

From my first impromptu visit, I could tell that the staff were very loving and caring. I was looked after so well, being so upset with regard to my father. He arrived at the home the following day, and we all knew he was going to be very well cared for. For this, I would like to say a massive thank

What stands out to me mostly abouT Barchester Prestbury Beaumont Care Community are the lovely staff who go the extra mile for the residents. There is a fabulous and varied activities programme which engages the residents and encourages friendships. Recently residents were treated to a canal boat trip,
fish and chips outing and a summer fete. The staff take time to get to know the residents personally and care is centred around the individual. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home.

What came across to me was how caring and considerate all the staff are. Nothing was too much trouble both when my mother-in-law was fairly healthy and during the time when her health deteriorated. The advice and help were second to none. Thank you to everyone.

We are very pleased with Prestbury Beaumont Care Community. It is spotlessly clean and the staff and management are very friendly and informative. Our mother is being well looked after at the home and visiting is a warm and friendly experience. Also, the food is wholesome and well-presented in the restaurant

Mum was transferred to Prestbury Beaumont to receive end-of-life care 6 weeks ago. The support, help and care provided by all the staff have been exceptional and I am so relieved she is being looked after in such a caring home. Mum is now eating much better and has lastly put some weight on. Thanks
to everyone at the Beaumont.

Prestbury Beaumont helped when we were at a crisis point with my grandmother. They came out the same day to assess her and have treated her amazingly well. The ladies sit and have lunch with her at times and they really care. Thank you for all the support provided.

Mum came to Prestbury Beaumont for respite in December 2020. She has become frail and we were relieved when she decided to stay permanently. She thrived with the good food, putting on weight. She loved her beautiful room, feeling secure there. Unfortunately, oncoming confusion made her shy away from
some activities e.g. puzzles, although she loved the baking club. She was pleased to get her hair done every Friday, particularly chatting with the hairdresser. She also enjoyed going around the lovely grounds in her wheelchair and meeting other residents. Housekeeping and laundry have been excellent and we have complete confidence in the management and nursing who always listened to any uncertainties.

My mum absolutely loved her stay at the home after a month in the hospital. Complete rehab, great food, rest and complete pampering. The staff and care were amazing. Everyone was so friendly, she didn't want to leave. She felt safe and cared for. We will not hesitate to use the home in the future if
needed. She's come on leaps and bounds and is now ready to face home.

Mum has been in Prestbury Beaumont Care Community for some time. Over the years I have been delighted with Prestbury Beaumont's consistency. Especially the current staff's attitude which is caring, understanding interested and feeling of family when you walk in. I know I can discuss any concerns and

I stayed at The "Beaumont" for two and a half weeks from 17/12/2015 to 3/1/2016 and found it to be excellent. So much so, I recommended it to two of my old friends. They both live locally. The "younger" one, who I've known for 40-years, came for six months, and the "older" one is 96 next month, stayed
for three months, friend for 72-years. I visited the Beaumonths and chose a suite for my husband - sadly, he died.

My mother went to Prestbury Beaumont for two weeks to help her get over Covid and a fall. She was well looked after there. The staff were all lovely and very helpful, she enjoyed the food very much and the beautiful surroundings. She left much better than when she went there.

Job Title: General Manager

Hi, my name is Cath, and I am General Manager here at Prestbury Beaumont.


Thank you for taking the time to look further into what we have to offer to you or your loved one. Here is an opportunity to look at some of our staff team in the home, who all play a vital role in day-to-day life.


I qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 2006 with 11 years of previous experience as a care assistant before this. I began my career with Barchester Healthcare as an RMN, progressed to unit manager and was the deputy manager at our sister home, Adlington Manor, before joining the team here at Prestbury.


I live locally with my family and enjoy walking and a good bottle of red wine. I am devoted to making a positive difference in people's lives and ensuring that those we support at home can live as comfortably as possible.


I look forward to welcoming you to our home.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2002

I am an RGN and hold a degree in social care, and my chosen area in the field of nursing is the care of older people.


My journey at Prestbury Beaumont started in 2002, when I worked as a Care Assistant. I then became a Nurse and was eventually promoted to Head of Care and finally Deputy Manager.

Tanya Stubbs

Job Title: Administrator

Hi, my name is Tanya and I am the home's Administrator here at Prestbury Beaumont. I have previously worked at our sister home, Adlington Manor, for over 30 years, and I am responsible for supporting staff, relatives and families with the administration and financial running of the home. I also work closely with the General Manager to ensure that every task is completed for the efficient running of the home.


As part of the team, I also help create the amazing homely atmosphere as soon as you enter the home, and I look forward to welcoming you to Prestbury Beaumont.


With a background as a trained chef with various City & Guild qualifications in catering, I progressed in the company to attain a Degree in Business Management.

Nicky Barnard

Job Title: Head Chef

Hi, My Name is Nicky, and I have worked at Prestbury Beaumont for 30 years. I am the Head Chef and very much enjoy my job at Prestbury.


I have been married for 16 years and have a daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, and I also enjoy reading and the odd Gin and Tonic.

Rebecca O'Donnell

Job Title: Activities Co-ordinator

Hi, my name is Rebecca O’Donnell. I am Head of Activities for Prestbury Beaumont. I have only been here for a short time and in that time, I have worked in various departments, including care, laundry and housekeeping.


In that time, I got to know all of our residents very well, which has helped me have a better understanding of their needs and how to support them in this role whilst ensuring they receive a fulfilling experience.


I am from the Cheshire area. I have been with my partner for nearly 20 years. We have four daughters, 1 grandson, dogs and granddogs and a horse we all adore. I like to travel and see new places, and I am looking forward to working here for a long time and furthering my skills.

Job Title: Head of Housekeeping

Hi, my name is Betina, and I am Head of Housekeeping and Laundry Services here at Prestbury Beaumont. I joined this wonderful,l caring team in August 2023.


My mission is to help provide a safe, clean and homely personalised environment for our residents, their families and their friends. I love to chat about residents' interests and learn from their wisdom and experiences.


I come from a busy household, I have four adult children and eleven grandchildren at the moment, and I am sure there will be more to follow!

Roy Pimlott

Job Title: Head of Maintenance

My Name is Roy Pimlott, and I am the Head of Maintenance at Prestbury Beaumont.


My trade is a gas engineer/plumber, but I have worked in various jobs as a Maintenance worker for many years. I have been entertaining since I was a small child. I was an actor in my youth and then a singer, which I still am today.
