Tabley House Nursing Home

All of the staff at Tabley House Nursing Home personify caring! There is a wonderful homely atmosphere at whatever time you visit. Mixed with laughter, kindness, and encouragement. The staff are completely receptive to the resident's needs, and communication is excellent between all of the staff, the resident, and resident's family. Everyone is treated as an individual, with care, support, and dignity, and I would like to thank the manager and all of her staff for their hard work, commitment, and professionalism.

I really cannot praise and thank the staff enough for caring for both of my parents.

I cannot speak too highly about all aspects of care and attention from at levels of staff and management. Every aspect of contact is treated with friendliness and confident attention. We find each conversation we, the close family, have with management and nursing staff gives us confidence that my wife's condition continues to be perfectly catered for. I have to say she now frequently says just how happy she is. Facilities, staff contact with fellow residents and the activities provided, the location close to our own home, beautiful room, excellent views across a lovely parkland, variety and quality of food, actually suggest it is even more than a nursing home, therefore, I'm not surprised she enjoys her new life so much.

The nursing home was absolutely brilliant with my mother-in-law. She was there for about two months and was looked after beautifully. The staff were always lovely and friendly. The building, both inside and out is incredible - lovely and clean and set in a fabulous location. As my mother-in-law was leaving, she received lots of hugs and best wishes from the staff which shows the super relationships that had developed - even in the short time she was there. I think she was sorry to leave as she had been looked after too well!

Myself and the family are very happy with the care Mum receives at Tabley House. The staff and management are more than helpful, and we feel able to chat at any time. Mum has improved so much since her admission to Tabley House; this has taken a great load off our shoulders.

Tabley House is in a beautiful location. This is fully supported by the very caring, knowledgeable and compassionate team. I cannot thank the team enough for the care, warmth and support they gave my stepdad during the last 7 months of his life. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tabley House.

I cannot thank the manager and all the staff at Tabley House enough for all they did for our stepfather - within 2 weeks of arriving, he changed back to his usual colouring from being what can only be described as an awful and very worrying colour, he stopped falling and he looked very relaxed. A far cry from the respite home the hospital had placed him in, if only we had managed to get him to Tabley House sooner! The staff are so lovely, they will do everything possible to make the residents happy and it shows! Thank you to the manager and the entire team - we very much appreciate all you did for our stepfather.

My father is currently here for respite and the manager and staff have been absolutely fantastic with catering for all his needs. Myself and my family are very grateful. A big thank you for all your hard caring work.

My total gratitude to the manager and staff, who cared for my husband in the last few months of his life, suffering from a terminal illness. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The love, care and devotion to making his life as comfortable and dignified as possible was exceptional. I also felt wrapped in a blanket of love and care from the staff in what was a very difficult time in my and my son's lives.

Tabley House is a truly remarkable place. You walk in and are instantly met by the warmth and compassion of all. The staff are very attentive and genuinely want to make a difference; they go above and beyond in their duties. Thank you!

My stay at Tabley House was excellent. I enjoyed my stay there very much. The staff were second to none. They treated you with kindness especially when you are unwell.

All the staff are extremely kind and patient; they are always ready for a laugh. The food was also out of this world. Help was always there at the touch of a button. I enjoy my stay and would be happy to come back here if I needed care again.

I have been well looked after. Care and nursing staff always willing, and the care has been excellent. The food has been very good, with the choice available. All the staff have been helpful. I have stayed here one month but would choose somewhere like this definitely, Tabley House.

I cannot recommend Tabley House highly enough, and that's all down to the staff who work tirelessly for their residents.

Mum has been a permanent resident since February 2020. She had also received respite care at Tabley House previously. The staff are very caring and have taken the time to get to know Mum. What she likes to wear and when she needs to rest more frequently etc. They engage fully with Mum and look after her extremely well. The spacious and comfortable lounge is set out like a drawing-room so it does not resemble a clinical, bland, offputting care home room. Mum has dementia and it is so important that she feels safe and comfortable. The staff at Tabley House and the surroundings fulfil this at a very high level.

Overall it is a good Care Home with expert staff and much better than most I looked at for my father.

Making the assets work for the benefit of the residents is the task of the Matron and her staff. They make a very good team and merge competence with care and compassion and provide a homely warmth to their diverse programmes.

Both my mother and my aunt have been, and my aunt still is, being cared for at Tabley. My Mother was very poorly and the end of life care was excellent for both my mum and the family. My Aunty has been at Tabley for six years and has a very bright and spacious room. All the caters and the receptionists always go the extra mile for her and this gives the family peace of mind that she is being well cared for, well-fed and although she doesn’t appear to remember lots of people in the team to converse with. Also, it was her birthday yesterday and they made her look fab and they had a tea party with a borrowed bone China tea set, just how she would have liked it. Thanks to all the team.
