Mark is our Home Manager here at Sandy Banks.
He has 20 years of experience working in a dementia setting - with over 10 years of them being as a qualified Mental Health Nurse - and he plans to pass on this experience to aid the team, pushing to continuously improve their practice and knowledge to allow us to provide a service that benefits your loved ones so they receive the care they need whilst promoting their privacy, dignity, and independence.
Here at Sandy Banks, there has always been a family ethos, and this is shown by the compassion, commitment and person-centred approach adopted by the whole team. Mark is passionate about promoting collaborative working with family and friends, and providing a place of comfort and safety so that your loved ones can be provided with a high standard of care in a place they can call home.
Tracy worked in the NHS for 19 years as a Facilities Coordinator before moving onto a GP surgery, learning vital management skills and achieving important qualifications before joining us here at Sandy Banks.
Outside of work, she enjoys walking with her French bulldog Olive, socialising with her family and friends, and making art, as well as (slowly!) renovating her newly-bought house.
Emily was a carer for 17 years before becoming our Housekeeping Supervisor.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and her extensive collection of pets!
Having achieved NVQ Level 2 whilst working in care for over two decades, Tracey works hard planning fun activities for our residents.
Outside of work, she loves socialising with friends and going on walks with her dog.
