Overall Experience
Client in for extended respite, new manager not yet been introduced. The staff are friendly and take time to address the client by name.

Clothes have gone missing but have been returned when queried. Food very varied and looks good. Covid-19 has obviously inhibited some services provided for clients. Themed days etc. Dog Service.

Hi there, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service, so we are disappointed to hear that your visit with us was anything less than satisfactory. Next time you come to the home we will make sure we introduce you to the new manager.

I tried for a number of years to get help for my mum. It was only when she was found wandering by the police that she was made a resident of Courtfield Lodge. The staff are excellent, caring and respectful. Mum is finally in a safe and happy place. If I could I'd move in there myself. I am really happy that Mum gets such excellent care at Courtfield Lodge.

Staff always helpful when visiting family member.
Often provided with tea/coffee if asked. Comfortable visiting area and outside patio.

Plenty of natural light in lounge area and a sense of belonging being so near (visually) to residential properties.

Review from Pauline S (Wife of Resident) published on 24 January 2019 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

Staff friendly, treat my husband with care and respect. I am totally at ease with them. Never seen anybody ill-treating anyone. Feel the home is getting better with staff, i.e. more settled now new manager. Very hard working staff (place not perfect) but I am happy they are looking after my husband. All homes can have a smell but I feel they keep on top of it. Staff very approachable.

Overall Experience

I am always kept up to date with my wife's care plan and any issues of her care and behaviour. The manager is stamping her influence for the better on the home and is always available to discuss ideas and any concerns I may have. The lead carers and the rest of the staff are always willing to converse with me on any aspects of my wife's care. Improvements on room security have taken place. New activities manager needs time to have her influence.
