Mum has been in Three Bridges for nearly a year. The care she has received is outstanding. All the staff from the manager through to the cleaning staff know residents and relatives by name. Mum is treated with respect and love. Mum loves a bit of banter and the staff join in with smiles and laughter.

The building itself is spotless. None of those off-putting odours. The food is plentiful. Snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. There are daily activities or she can watch tv, read or sit outside when the weather is good.

Mum looks healthier than she has for years. Three bridges is a happy place.

My family and I have found the care home to be a very homely and friendly environment in which our mother is currently residing. The staff offer a very caring approach and go beyond 'the job' to be as accommodating as possible to make life for the residents comfortable and enjoyable. The staff give a sense of calm even in the most difficult of circumstances and always offer a smile. Nothing is too much trouble and requests are met in a timely way. Relatives are kept informed of any changes which occur in the health and well-being of residents.

At a very difficult time for both of us, your wonderful staff have treated us with kindness and dignity at all times. Nothing is too much trouble and they keep me up to date with my husband's improvements. I can't praise them enough. It is a very welcoming home and a credit to everyone.

My wife was on admitted the 23rd of September after an 8 weeks stay in hospital for a broken femur. she has dementia which made recovery impossible to get her back on her feet. A care home was the answer and on viewing several, Three Bridges came out the outright best. Lovely caring staff, super clean rooms and all areas. Made to feel at home. the progress with her care over such a short time has been amazing and so glad we chose Three Bridges.

Three Bridges became my Dad's home for nearly 3 years. During lockdown, the staff became my dad‘s family as we were unable to visit the home. The relationship he had with all the staff who looked after him, was lovely and as his dementia progressed, he recognised staff more than his own family. My Dad sadly passed away in March this year, we were fortunate to be able to spend his last days with him in his home. All the staff were so supportive of us all. The standard and quality of care given was excellent allowing us the time with him to make memories that we will hold very dear in the coming months. The Home Manager has an amazing team working there and they truly make Three Bridges a lovely home. It was a big decision to put my Dad into a care home, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Three Bridges to anybody.

Called in for the first time since lockdown. My sister was in good spirits and healthier than I had seen for a very long time. The staff were down to earth, friendly, kind and helpful. The management had been very helpful in enabling my sister to leave the home for a few hours a month earlier for a family emergency. Much appreciated.

My wife has been at Three Bridges since December 2020 and is still there. They have transformed her from being bed-bound to being able to eat and drink. The staff have given me back a piece of my old wife. I could not recommend them more highly. Thank you all.

Recommended by a resident's daughter and checked out on the website. My wife has been a resident for the past ten weeks and has settled in well, with help from all the staff. Have not had an opportunity to look inside, due to Covid restrictions, but have no reason to expect to have any concerns. The only thing that I am disappointed with is that when a room is cleared, all rubbish is dumped in the car park for several days and looks very unsightly for visitors.

Reply from Val Marston, Home Manager at Three Bridges Nursing Home

Thank you for your comments. It has been identified that the discarded furniture from the refurbishments requires a compound for storage and this is being built as we speak. Indoor visits are now in progress, if you let us know your preferences, all COVID precautions will still be carried out to keep everyone safe. Kind Regards, Val Marston.

During this very strange year, I have not been able to visit as usual. However, I have been kept informed, and I can't thank every single member of staff for how they have looked after my mum. I have had two recent visits and felt that all safety aspects were covered. I was tested for Covid and wore PPE supplied by Thre Bridges. The main thing for me is that my mum is very happy and always positive. Thanks again for all your love and care you give my mum.

Reply from Val Marston, Home Manager at Three Bridges Nursing Home

Thank you, Sue, so nice to be appreciated. We are happy to have you back visiting again, and your mum is really happy to see you. We are still working to keep all our residents safe and appreciate your cooperation with the wearing of the PPE and the covid testing. Regards, from all the team.

Three Bridges has cared for my mum for over 3 years. I visited 9 homes before deciding that this was the one for mum, it was an excellent choice. The staff are amazing and care deeply for all the residents treating each and everyone as an individual with individual needs. My mum (who sadly passed recently) received the best care from the kindest most caring team. I knew my mum was always safe, loved and extremely well cared for. Three Bridges has always had a really loving homely feel. The staff have always supported both me and mum. I will miss everyone. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Three Bridges to anyone.

As a family, we have christened Three Bridges 'Hogwarts' truly! the change in mum since arriving at the nursing EMI unit is nothing short of magical. The staff are so wonderful with her, not just the care staff but manager, admin who is such a beautiful soul and domestics too. As a family, we will never be able to express our gratitude to the love and care given to our mum and which has continued throughout these strange times. The quality and standard of care are truly excellent. Thank you.

Staff have become like family to my nan and it’s brilliant to see her happy, settled and looked after at this place. When we visit all staff welcome you. Another good point is that all paperwork is done electronically which is more effective as I know my nan is getting the proper care she deserves rather than seeing staff sitting down for hours with tons of paperwork.

One negative thing I have heard from my nan are the meals on offer, as she says there is one cook who is excellent, but sometimes the food is only just warm or the choices given she isn’t too keen on.

My grandad has been in the home for about eight months now and the staff there have been amazing and at first my grandad was extremely rude and difficult for the staff but I think he's finally settled in now and I love coming to visit. It's been so hard not being able to just pop in to see how he's doing, however, the staff made it a little easier by posting updates online on the residents so thank you for what you guys do.

We had to admit our mum into a care home recently and after visiting a few care homes we chose Three Bridges. Since being in there, Mum has really gone back to her old self and is a lot happier. The staff are excellent and treat Mum as an individual and not just as another number. I visit most days and I can see a vast improvement in Mum's quality of life. Although she has a terminal illness, I am 100% sure that being at Three Bridges will make what time she has left, far better for her. It was a hard decision putting Mum into care but after seeing her now compared to what she was 3 months ago, I know it was the right decision. Again I can't speak highly enough of the staff there and would like them to know that all their efforts in making Mum comfortable and happier is very much appreciated.

My father has resided at Three Bridges Nursing Home. From May this year, he has had major changes in his life from having limited care at home to becoming very dependent for his own safety. The staff have given him the time and support to come to terms with this transition and helped him to settle in his new surroundings. They have also helped me, and his family totally informed and are very friendly and approachable at all times.

I am so pleased that we have found the perfect care home for my mum.

As a family, it is important to know that our mum is well cared for, fed well, active and above all, loved. Three Bridges gives this to us and more - we have total peace of mind that she is in the safest of hands. She loves it and so do we. In a short space of time, Mum has found her place in the Three Bridges family.

Hi, my name is Whitney, and I'm the Home Manager for Three Bridges Nursing Home in Warrington. I've been a nurse for nearly 10 years now and started off working in an intensive care unit. I worked at Three Bridges when training to be a nurse and decided to come back home after my time working in the hospital. I started off my time back as a nurse, then worked my way from Unit Manager, Clinical Lead and now Home Manager! I am passionate about the care I give and encourage for the residents at the home, as well as the families and working with my amazing team.
