Mum was only in the home for a very short period before she died. The care, compassion and dignity they afford Mum was second to none. Everyone without exception showed these traits and my fears were totally unfounded.
The last couple of days before she died the care family took my Mum, my sister and
I under their wing and looked after all 3 of us and we were all truly grateful. Thank you
Reply from Krzysztof Bialczyk, Home Manager at Lofthouse Grange & Lodge Care HomeThank you so much for your beautiful words. It means more than I can say that you took the time to share this during such a difficult period for you and your family. It was truly our privilege to care for your mum, even though her time with us was short. She was a remarkable lady, and we are grateful that you entrusted her into our care. Knowing that she felt safe, respected, and comforted in her final days is something the whole team holds close to heart. We were also honoured to be able to support you and your sister. In moments like these, families become part of our own care family, and we do everything we can to make sure no one feels alone. Your gratitude is deeply appreciated, but please know that caring for all three of you was simply what we were here to do. From all of us, thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you during such a tender time. Your mum will be remembered with warmth.

I have found my husband has been very well cared for. Obviously, it takes time for the resident to get to know faces and the staff to know their ways, which at times can be testing. The food is excellent, and the buffets, etc., put on for the relatives are lovely. All in all, quite happy with his care.
Reply from Sharon Easterbrook-Smith, Manager at Archers Court Nursing HomeThank you for your review, it is important to us as a team so we can review any areas on a review, overall your feedback is very positive and very pleased you are happy with the care and support your husband receives within the care home, thank you so much i will share your feedback with the team Home Manager Sharon Easterbrook-Smith

It's been almost a year since, as a family, we were welcomed into Archers Park. Within this time, the wrap around care and support recieved continues to be outstanding.
No matter what the circumstance, Archers work tirelessly as a team and with community services to ensure residents remain at the
heart of everything they do. I just wanted to acknowledge the genuine warmth and dedication from all staff as we head into our second year.

The floor staff/supporting staff all appear to work considerably hard and show a lot of kindness to the residents. Special thanks to cleaning staff who ensure that the premesis are clean and tidy particularly the lounges and individual living rooms (bedroom). Activities are well ran and well participated
which is helpful to the residents. The management staff are pleasant and helpful during visits. Overall the care home ensures my mother is well looked after and treated with care and dignity; I am satisfied that her interests are catered for.

My experience has been a very positive one due to the excellent carers and their standard of care, helpfullness and friendliness.
The food has been very tasty and there has been a variety on the menu. I appreciated the daily visit from the chefs to ask me what I would choose from the menu and their
willingness to make minor amendments to suit my needs.
I did not take part in many of the activites but there were a good variety to choose from.

Mum moved into Windsor Suite at Green Park in April 2025 and sadly passed away in December. Mum's dementia was advanced and she needed 24-hour care and she received exemplary care whilst at Green Park. Mum was treated with respect and dignity and I can't praise the staff highly enough. She was always
clean and dressed, with all her personal needs/cares met. The Home has access to a hairdresser (payable) so every week Mum had a pamper session which always made her feel good. There is also an excellent entertainment team who arrange some lovely sessions with the residents. The cleaning team are brilliant. The rooms are spotless. Mum was on a puréed diet so her food was not always the most appetising to look at but it was varied.Overall, I can't fault the care mum received and how supportive the team are. Caring for dementia patients takes a special team, and Green Park has that team. It truly is the perfect place for a loved one on a dementia journey.
Reply from Heather Pickup, Home Manager at Green Park Nursing HomeThank you for your Fabulous feedback. I will pass your compliments to the team.

My Nanna was cared for here from April - December 2025 in the Windsor Ward. This is for dementia patients with significant care needs. I cannot fault the care my nanna received and even though she wasn't too aware of her surroundings, she was always happy and comfortable with where she was and had a
lot of trust in the care team. With my nanna having dementia it could be difficult to know how she was feeling with new people but we always knew she loved the team that cared for her and that speaks volumes about how fantastic the staff really are. As a family we had a lot of confidence in the entire team and knew that my nanna was always being looked after with the most love and care. Sadly we lost my nanna in December 2025 but even in her final days the team went above and beyond for her. If you ever need to consider a care home for a loved one, be assured that the staff at Green Park are absolutely faultless and will treat your family member as one of their own. Thanks again xx
Reply from Heather Pickup, Home Manager at Green Park Nursing HomeRachael, Thank you for your kind words the Windsor staff team will be over the moon with your wonderful feedback, Thank you so Much.

Staff seem very friendly, clean home, well fed. Although I don't feel the residents go out into the fresh air enough, particularly in summer. Also not enough singers come into the home.

After having numerous bad experiences with the care my Mum has received since going into care we were worried this would be another uncaring care home.
We have had our faith restored since my Mum went into Castleford Lodge last April. She is cared for correctly, fed at meal times and interacted with.
My mum's falls have been reduced massively and our family can now rest knowing we don't have to visit if we don't want to.
The meals are varied and appealing with plenty of choices for all diets.
The staff are friendly,,approachable and honest which is so important to us as a family,
We wish we had moved my Mum here right from the start.
Reply from Sarah Golden-Hill, Home Manager at Castleford Lodge Nursing HomeCan i just start by thanking you for taking the time to complete the review for Castleford lodge. I have to thank you for your kind words in relation to the way that your mum has settled into Castleford. Our approach is to ensure that the transition from one setting to another is smooth and that this does not have a negative impact on the individual. I am pleased to hear that Castleford Lodge and the whole team has restored your faith around care that is delivered in the care setting. It is also nice to hear that mums falls have reduced since moving to Castleford and that you feel that our menu is varied and appealing with a good choice for all types of diets. I will also pass over to the whole team that you find the staff friendly approachable and it is good to here that they are open and honest with you in relation to your mum and her needs. Again Lisa can i just thank you for the your kind words on the review

My mum has been at Green Park since September 2024 and is happy and settled here, the staff have always treated her with respect and many a time I have come in to see a member of staff sat holding hands with her or comforting her if she has been anxious. I can leave here knowing that she is really
looked after well and I am so grateful for the wonderful staff that work here, they have been a god send. The home's greatest asset is their staff. My mum has been on the Kensington unit in Green Park since September 2024.
