Just a little shout out to one of the carers at nestfield house! I was really impressed with her attitude and demeanor. Shes lovely with the residents, thoughtful, kind and shows initative. Thanks you, i appreciate you.
The home is well run and cares well for its residents. I would have liked staff to introduce themseves in passing on the first day but have already mentioned this. They are very attentive, responding to changing needs and the vagaries of dementia with kindness and good humour.

Whilst visiting Mum today, I noticed all the Olympic stuff around the home, and I just have to say how wonderful the staff are and how inclusive they are with everything going on in the world. I know the manager is only with us temporarily, but she has been a brilliant asset to the home, and I wish she could stay permanently.
Emma, can I just take this opportunity to thank you for the kind words you have written about Nesfield Lodge. The home strives to keep up to the times with activities and to include our people in events that take part across the country and around the world.
My mum has been at Nesfield Lodge since 2017 and, although she is declining, is still well looked after by the staff. I would like to add that the manager has been a fantastic addition to the home and has been a brilliant manager with other staff in full support of her. It will be a great shame when the manager's time at Nesfield comes to an end in August. I wish her luck for the future - Orchard - make sure you don't lose her, she is a great asset. The home is looking a little bit 'tired' but there does appear to be some sprucing up going on.
Thank you Beverley for your kind words about the time I have been at Nesfield Lodge. The home has had some decorating completed and the staff will continue to look after your mum in the years to come.
My mum was admitted to this home 4 years ago just at the beginning of covid. It was difficult at times but the staff went above and beyond to make it a more pleasurable visit. I have great admiration for all the staff as they do a wonderful caring job which at times can be difficult. Thank you doesn't always seem enough.
I felt he was well cared for and safe. The staff were brilliant with him, always made a fuss of him, and kept him smiling.
Thank you Nesfield for caring for him and making him feel so cared for and welcome.
I felt at ease knowing he would be well looked after while I was away.

Staff always helpful. A job that is not easy sometimes but the staff do incredibly well. A relaxed atmosphere and very welcoming. A range of activities is provided by the staff. Staff try to cater for residents' needs in somewhat difficult circumstances sometimes. Helping people with dementia is not easy. Everything they do for my mum is very much appreciated.
