I can honestly say that I have found the team at Riverdale to be the loveliest, kindest and down to earth people I have ever met. My Mum was transferred to Riverdale, not for dementia care, but for end of life care when she was dying from cancer. She was only at the home for a month but the staff ensured that month was the best it could possibly be for her and they also looked after me as well. Mum died peacefully, with me holding her hand, on the 22nd of November 2025. Thank you Riverdale for everything you have done, for putting your arms around my Mum and me and never letting go until the end. I couldn't have done it without you all.

The residents are entertained on a very regular basis by lovely activity coordinators. Birthdays and special occasions are celebrated and the residents are all made to feel special and at home.
